2 Chapter 01: Pain

A lady from the Raphael Dukedom, Alex Raphael was sitting near the window sightseeing outside. An emotionless expression could be seen on her face.

Most of the high-status ladies would be happy to have a chance of marrying a prince, but a crown prince is like heaven in disguise.

Thinking about what happened minutes ago, makes her heart hurts. Just how his father turn his back to her, never even thought of sending her off.

Tears slip off her face without her notice it.

An hour later, they were about to cross the bridge gap between the capital and the northern side of the Eirio Empire.

A group of bandits came and attack the carriage, kill the knights who were with her, and captured both the lady and her maidservant.

For the first time, she feels something. And it is fear. Fear of dying. But why? Nobody even wants her, everyone wants her gone. No, even if she's alive, she is still invisible Like she doesn't exist at all.

"What do you want? Why are you doing this?" she asked with still wearing the emotionless face.

"What we want? Hahaha. We want someone to like you to suffer. To get you in your knees and beg for life. And let you feel what we feel when we beg for our lives. You high status are all jerk. Arrogant." the bandit said coldly and spit next to the lady who still had no emotion on her face.

Until-- she smirks. "You got the wrong person. I don't beg and I don't apologize for something I didn't do," she said and lookup.

The bandit while looking at her eyes cringed by seeing the cold blue ocean eyes.

"Boss, the three master call for a meeting. We need to get back now." the minion said. 'Wooh~ save by the bell.' the boss thought and sighed.

"Okay. Let's get back. And give this beauty to the third master. I'm sure he will like this one. And the maidservant, in my room. She still has a good body. Good to become my 10th concubine." he said and turn his back at us. As the minion put as back in the carriage.

As soon as they arrive at the lair, they asked someone to accompany us. And changed my maid servant's clothes into a decent and wedding attire.

As I was stuck in a small room.

Bored. I look everywhere to see anything worth doing. But nothing came up with me. Just to rest. Just be honest, I feel fine about this. I didn't even know what the prince look like so nothing to worry about.

All I did was just follow what was instructed me to do. And I just did. Maybe being here could help me find myself and could bring me freedom that I need. A love that I'm looking forward to and sincerely care for from someone.

Maybe I could feel different emotions here. To be able to smile brightly like how other people in the town would do. Like a bright orange ball of light.

I sighed and lay down as I easily fall asleep. But before I close my eyes. I know someone already gets inside the room. But I don't feel hostile. It's more like I feel protected and close my eyes.
