4 Chapter 2:

Eyes closed, Anthony was pretending to be asleep. While listening to the conversation of the people in the room.

"Baron Gregory, Im fully confident that your son will be alright, he will wake up soon. I already checked his condition and he just lost his consciousness, I think its due to pain. He was not able to drink the medicine I concocted because he was asleep thats why when he woke up he was in pain. Do not worry Baron, I've had thousands of experience with his condition and they had the same outcome when waking up."

'So this person is talking to my supposed father and fuck with your medicine you're a quack what kind of doctor are you, Im dying here with broken arm and several ribs and you simply put some ground-leaf like cream on my injuries, I don't think the linens used on me and the so called medicine cream placed on my body is sterilized'!.

"Thank you, master Titch. He's the only son left that I have, his 2 older brothers was sent to the frontlines. Fortunately, he was still with his 2 brothers when they were ambushed by the Aurelian's forces. His brothers were able to send him back to my dominion before they were reassigned to the frontlines and ultimately where I lost them. Damn Aurelians!

"He's the only heir I have left and if he dies, my bloodline will end with me"

Anthony can feel the sincere concern of his father for him as well as the pain of losing his 2 other sons.

"Just let him rest in bed for 6 months and let him drink the medicine I concocted everyday, pretty sure he will turn out fine, Baron. I swear upon my profession and my life, Baron Gregory that your son, master Anthony, will be fine".

"Alright master Titch, Im confident with your skills. Let's go to my study and discuss the remuneration for helping the House of Romanovs."

"James watch over my son and make sure when he wakes up he drinks the medicine that master Titch made for him, don't inform him yet of the unfortunate event of his brothers, they're pretty close to each other after all he might take it hard."

"Yes Baron, I will keep in mind what you said."

The Baron with master Titch left Anthony's room going to the the study. Since Anthony's eyes are closed he didn't see master Titch and his father but he's pretty sure that there's more than 2 people who left his room but no idea who is the 3rd person. And James, Anthony is sure that he was in the room.

Having heard the conversation, Anthony is thinking of his situation, now he is pretty sure that he was killed by the truck and now he was stuck in someones body. And the memory that he just had is not some hallucination because of his injury and high fever.

'Damn, based on the memory I have now this place is my father's dominion a Barony in the north of the empire. And the era is somewhat like the medieval Europe of where Im from'. Anthony muttered to himself.

He felt dejected since he doesn't want to be here, specially since the era is too different from where he came from. No electricity, no internet, no proper plumbing system and the medical science here is way too backward for him.

Considering the situation further, Anthony just gave out a sigh in his heart. He doesn't have a way of returning back to where he came from and certainly he doesn't want to try dying again to find out if he can go back.

He can only accept the reality he is in now. Thinking that he can't go to the Baron and inform him that the original owner of this body already died and he was someone else, remembering what the medieval people do to pioneer of science back in his world, burned alive in a stake. What more him, which was transmigrated to this body.

He can only accept his situation now and look at the bright side. Anthony has always been an optimistic person since he was young. So he believes he can accept this reality soon.
