1 What is Love?

" Mom, are you crying again?" , a boy who seems to be in his 20s was standing outside a bedroom door seeing a women with worried eyes ,who is crying on the cold floor with a picture frame kept on her chest

The woman wiped her tears knowing her son would always complain of her crying .

" Jacine..*sob* why are you early today?" , she said while standing and patting off dust off her dress.

" there wasn't much customer s-.. wait dont change the topic!. *sigh* were you crying again?" Jacine asked worriedly .

" *chuckle* don't worry i am fine... I just... miss your father *sad smile* "

Jacine sighed seeing how he doesn't understand why his mother cries every night even though it won't change anything ....

" Mom why are you even crying so hard? you know I don't like it when you cry " complained Jacine worriedly.

" *smile* I cry because I love your father and I miss him and i am sure if your father were in my place .. he would do the same"

" love.... is it because of love that you are crying? if you were not to love dad ... would you be crying right now? if it's love that made you cry... why would you even love someone " Jacine asked in complain

"*chuckle* Jacine my child... let me ask you a simple question ..do you know what love is?"

" yes... isn't it a way to express your feelings for beautiful objects or person?"

" *smile* it's not necessarily must be a beautiful thing ... people falls in love without reason , without even wanting to and you can't predict that, That's love .

Even the child next door collects stone. Why? because he loves it , eventhough its simple and ugly "

Maria, Jacine's mother explained smoothly as she found out his son wasn't aware what true meaning of love is .

" you will understand once you find the person you love dearest just like me " said Maria touching his son's face with a warm smile.

" l am sure you are hungry... fresh up and I will warm dinner for you * Maria said leaving the room to warm the dinner .

" true love? if it's only going to give you pain , I don't want that kind of love " scuffed Jacine thinking what his mother told him.

Jacine came to despise Love as he see it destroys one's life and make them live miserably, thinking back it also made his friend miserable who once was madly in love with a girl but she was married off to another person and it turned him into a drunkard drowning his painful incomplete love life in alcohol and now to with his mother that's why he decided he would not fall in love , But you never know what the future beholds .....
