5 Jewel Shop

" You know he is the thief, why did you help him?" asks Theo coldly, though it is none of his business, but he cannot help being curious.

Jacine smiled and replied, "Everyone has their own reasons". This confused Theo, as he did not understand what Jacine was saying...

" So mister, you do not seem to be here. What are you here for?" asked Jacine curiously.

Theo kept his composure as he felt that he was not himself right now and just walked away without answering Jacine's question.

Jacine was taken aback and realised that he was left hanging, "Huh?" . He felt strangely annoyed since it was the first time someone was rude to him.

"That idiot, I saved him and not even a thank you . Next time I see him, I am going to beat the shit out of him," Jacine muttered angrily, cracking his knuckles .

" JACINE ! YOUR UNCLE IS CALLING YOU !" a little boy shouted, reminding him of the flour his uncle told him to bring.

" SHIT! THE FLOUR !"

In the meantime , Theo reached a jewellery shop, thinking that this was the best place to ask about the pendant. There were not many customers in the shop, but it still seemed like a deserted place when Theo entered.

" The shop owner?" asked Theo coolly, to which the people in the shop looked at each other nervously.

" Who's asking for me?" a fat balding man who appeared to be in his 50s and wore god knows how many gold chains around his neck and rings on his chubby fingers said rudely. He came out of a door, followed by a man who appeared to be a clerk who informed him, behind the jewellery box on display at the front, yawning and scratching the back of his head.

" I want to talk to you," Theo said, as the owner watched him, suspicious.

"What do you want?" the owner asked suspiciously, frowning.

Theo took the half-broken pendant out of his pocket and showed it to him ... when he saw the object in front of him, he widened his eyes in fear and asked anxiously, "You ... why do you have this!".

Seeing the expression on the man's face, Theo seemed to think he knew something about this pendant.

" THE SHOP IS CLOSE! EVERYONE GET OUT !", the man hastily announced in his frantic voice, pushing the customers out and instructing one of his employees to close the shop for the day.

" You... come with me," the man ordered with narrowed eyes and walked back to the door.
