6 " Flower of Flaws"

" SHIT Shit, shit, uncle's barking at me today! " Jacine muttered as he ran back to the bakery with a bag of flour in his hands.

"If it was not for that ungrateful person, I would not be late," Jacine complained as he reached the bakery.

He entered the bakery and rushed to the kitchen. Seeing that his uncle was busy baking with his back facing him, Jacine tiptoed the flour into place and tried to escape his uncle's wrath, but unfortunately he was caught before he could make a run for it.

" Where are you coming from so late?" asked Mark, who was still baking the pastries.

Jacine laughed nervously and replied, " Uncle Mark, you know I am never late... it's just that... today."

"There was a problem today, and you helped solve it," Mark interrupted, turning to Jacine, putting down the rolling pin and clasped his hands staring at Jacine.

" ah- ha ha yes," Jacine replied nervously.

Mark let out a worried sigh and walked up to Jacine and put his hands on his shoulder.

" Jacine, what did I always tell you..."

"Never get yourself into an awkward situation," Jacine added, interrupting his uncle halfway.

" I know... But I can not help it... I just want to help if there's a problem," he added as he looked at Mark with a puppy dog face.

Mark sighed again not knowing what to say knowing that Jacine is ignorant in these things and would not listen to him.

"Fine, but always be careful and put your safety first, ok?" advised Mark.

" ay ay captain!" chuckled Jacine, making a salute pose and went to help his mother at the counter.

"He's just like you Kai, he likes to help others in need," Mark muttered to himself as he remembered someone who acted similar to Jacine.

While with Theo who was still wanting answers from the goldsmith...

" Where did you get that?" asks the jeweller, as they sit in a chair and the pendant on the table right infront of them.

"You know about this pendant?" asks Theo eagerly.

The owner paused for a second and then sat back leaning on the chair comfortably as he notice the person infront of him wants to know about the pendant.

" Why will i tell you?. This pendant is common everywhere and can be find easily. Don't tell me the one in your hands are the real ones?" the goldsmith asked sarcastically.

" It is" interrupted Theo as he pulled down his hoodie looking at the man infront with his forest green eyes firmly.

" The colour and quality of the gemstone is not the same as that of the fake ones and neither is its weight and appearence" Theo pointed convincing that it is the real pendant.

" You may already have figured this is real as soon as you examined it, after all you are a goldsmith" he added.

Seeing how the young man is talking with confidence, the goldsmith was soon convinced.

" you are right" replied the goldsmith with a scuff.

" This pendant is called " Flowers of Flaws". It was originally called " The Ameliorate Pendant" becasue of the Aquamarine gemstone in it that gives off a sense of relaxation when ones sees it" explained the goldsmith as he stares at the pendant.

" It was then changed to " Dazzling Moonlight" as the gemstones has the ability to shine brightly when the moonlight struck to it." he continued.

" Who was the last person that has this pendant?" asked Theo as he assumed many people seems to has their hands on it.

" As far as i know it was a young lady who is from a respectable family but because of the beauty and ability of the pendant that everyone seemed to found out , she covered the stone with design of connecting flowers on top of it and gave it to one of her trusted servant in order to protect it from using wrongly. That's why It's now commonly called " Flowers of flaws".

" Do you know where is that servant currently?"

" I am afraid no." replied the goldsmith shaking his head negatively.

" but why do you ask of the pendant?" he asked.

" To know what happened to my mother"

replied Theo as his face turned gloomy.

The Goldsmith noticed that this matter seemd serious for the young man so he said, " If you want to know about the servant you should go to Mark, he use to be close with that person , other than this i know nothing else" informed the goldsmith.

Theo noded his head and thanked the goldmsith for the help and headed out to where the goldsmith told him where he could find Mark.

following the road that was instructed to him he soon waa standing infront of the bakery, "Mark's Bakery" ...
