CHAPTER 152

Penelope will sleep beside her father tonight. Penelope asked him earlier if she can sleep on his bed and beside him. And Clementine did not refuse her request. He told her to go to his bedroom after she finished washing up and changed into her pajamas.

At exactly nine in the evening, Penelope knocks on her father's bedroom and enters it. Clementine just finished putting the important documents inside his drawer. Even if he doesn't feel sleepy yet, Clementine will still join his daughter on the bed until she falls asleep. He can just finish his work once Penelope falls asleep later.

Penelope carefully climbs her father's bed and lay beside him. Clementine pulls the blanket up to his daughter's chin and fixes her pillows. He knows his daughter is exhausted today. He just wants Penelope to have a good sleep tonight.

"Dad, I'm sorry." Penelope said.

"Hmm. Why are you saying sorry to me?" Clementine asked.
