7 Chapter 7: Annoying Pests

Intense glaring. Everyone in the library can feel the killing intent directed at a specific direction.

"How dare you." A slow hiss accompanied by a murderous feel sent shivers to those who are unlucky enough to sit nearby.

"Calm down. You look like your steaming." Aivo sighed as he continues nonchalantly reading.

Zylan scoffed, "I'm technically questioning why I'm partnered up with you, and NOW I see my sis being followed by an idiot?" He spat as he runs his hand over his shoulder-length hair.

"Ha, like I want to be with an overprotective sis-con like you." Aivo glared at him through his book.

"Brother." The two turned to see Naneel with Lutrix just behind her.

"We meet again, Ms. Palacio." Aivo nods to her and she reciprocates. Zylan stood up and pulled Naneel behind her and initiates a staring contest with the black-haired teen.

"Palacio."

"Hal."

"How are you?"

"Good. Are you?"

"Sad to say, I'm doing great."

"Pity. What do you want?"

"Not much. Your sister perhaps."

Zylan's grip tightened, "No can do."

"I know." His gaze drifts to Naneel before quickly going back to Zylan.

"We should be going now." Zylan says yet doesn't budge an inch nor try and break eye contact.

Aivo slips out his seat, goes near Naneel and spoke in a hushed tone that only she can hear. "Ms. Palacio, I sincerely apologize for this morning. But you see, I can't disagree with him."

Naneel nods to say it's alright, she then pulls her brother out.

"Why took you so long?" Xerelt raised a brow at his two siblings, hand on his hip.

"I had to take care of a pest following Nel." Zylan scoffed as he closes his bag and calms himself down with coffee.

Naneel only rolled her eyes and went to her room to change. Xerelt only sighs and pulls Zylan to change in the other room.

10 minutes later, Naneel comes out in a black long-sleeved cheongsam, both slits stops four inches below the hip, black fishnet stockings, her white fingerless gloves and white doll shoes. Her hair tied in a high-ponytail and the lower part of her face is covered with a black mask.

The interesting part is that her outfit all has printed scales. The hems of her dress, sleeves and mask has white scales. The tip of her shoes is designed with black scales and her hair has a eye catching clip, a silvery white snake with two tiny amethyst gems for it's eyes.

"I thought I burned that." Xerelt pointed at the dress. He had on a pair of black jeans, a red button-up shirt and a black hoodied trenchcoat over it, red gloves and black boots. His black spiky hair is slicked back and he wore a mask that covers his whole face, leaving his golden eyes open.

The coat's sleeves had a red print of something coiling from his wrists to his elbows, the hems had flames designed around it. The back had a dragon's head the size of an adult's fist and red splotches around it but looking closer, it's like a black dragon coiling around itself, sleeping. His belt had a dragon's head and he had a necklace that looks like a black dragon saoring up, it had tiny specks of red and it's eyes were golden.

"Maybe she gave you the wrong one then." Zylan chuckles. He had a black hoodied overcoat with rose gold chained buttons and the hood and lining of the sleeves and coat are peach pink with purple splotches, midnight blue dress pants and black boots. A plain white fabric covers his eyes and his white hair tied in a halfbun.

The side of his bun has a turtle snake pin, the shell being wooden brown in color and the snake as peach and purple. The back of his coat is designed with a turtle shell, gold-ish wood in color, the sides of the pants and tail of the overcoat have tiny scale-like patterns.
