6 THE CONFESSION

ZEN'S POV

I was now at Hawk's house with Sky chatting with my girlfriend (whom i was planning to ditch since the last two months ) from my phone .I had no problem with him or any of my friends using my phone. Everyone even knew the password. But what bothers me now is that - I just messaged to Lyra!! I am damn sure she's gonna reply . I had no idea Sky is gonna ask for my phone and even I denied he had his own way to get it from me .... If she replies ... I am screwed.

And Right on the cue , she replied .

" What are you so ANGRY about Ze ? " I heard Sky read . Right when he said ' Ze' I knew it was Lyra. Ze is the nickname she gave me when I started calling her 'Ly' .

" What are you talking about ?" I asked him . " You got a message from Ly ? " . It sounded more like a question though.

" Is she your ex ? Or the present girlfriend? " He asked . I was about say something when Hawk cut me off. I was thankful for him .

"Guys - " he began with a serious tone " I need to tell you all something " .

" Yeah ,yeah .. That you have a crush on Lyra ? " Sky asked .

" Since 2 or 3 years ? " Rye added .

" We know that " Neko replied .

He looked completely shocked. Yes , even I knew that . How wouldn't we know when he looked at her with a warm smile.. He looks at her so secretly as if we wouldn't know ... He has about 10 pictures of her in his gallery . We saw them long ago but decided that we wont ask him anything . He will tell us when he wants to. We all agreed .

" How ? " our shocked friend asked us with an amused expression on his face .

"We are your friends , you asshole " me , Sky , Rye and Neko said in unison making him smile .

Oh right .. Nicolas A.K.A Neko is our sneaky friend. As sneaky as a cat . and thus the name " Neko " meaning "cat " in Japanese. None of us know the language ! It was Hawk who searched for ' what is cat called in different languages ' on Google and fixed NEKO as Nicolas's official nickname.
