16 The Meeting(2)

Kay's anger went to extreme when he heard this from Zila and snapped at her which made her flinch a little and she looked at him with shock and disbelief.

"Get out from here. Go home and rest."

Zila got more angry at Kay's rudeness and she said not before stamping her foot on the floor like a child. Kay was just looking at her with a daring expression but Zila was't in the mood to listen so yelled at Kay

"Who are you to tell me what to do or what to not? I will do whatever I want too. Besides i can't take a leave. Today, we have to go on a meeting."

"I don't care about any meeting, we are not going. You just go home and rest."

Zila looked at him with disbelief and clenched her jaw. Kay wasn't in the mood to listen today and just looked at her with narrowed eye brow. Both of them were having a glare war when Kay's phone rang and they both looked away from each other making Zila blush a little while Kay just picked the call.

Zila went towards her table and started to handle the work, Kay clenched his jaw at this and thought while still on the call.

"I told this stubborn girl to leave. But no, she just won't listen to me. What is more important than her health and the doctor even said that she had severe Malnutrition as she didn't eat her food regularly and timely."

Kay was still staring at her while Zila immediately finished preparing for the meeting and then turned over to explain Kay about the meeting. Kay already hung up the call but was still looking at Zila. She pouted at this and started speaking, which dragged Kay out of his fantasy world.

"Sir! Our meeting is with the TM company. We have to go there, it's a 5 hour distance from here so we should leave now, if we don't want to be late. And I have already prepared for all the meeting material."

Kay didn't want to go but as he heard about the meeting, he realized that it was an important meeting and that they should go. He got up from his seat without replying to Zila as he was quite angry at her for not listening to his words. Zila shook her head realizing the stubbornness of Kay but she didn't say anything as they were getting late.

Both of them went to the parking lot and Zila sat in the backseat hoping that Kay would drive but as usual Kay wanted to sit with Zila so he called his driver and ordered him to drive. He sat in the backseat with Zila but Zila wasn't in the mood to sit with Kay so she got out of the car and went to sit on the passenger seat. As she got out of the car Kay realized her plan and also got out and went towards the driving seat. Just when Zila sat in, he dismissed his driver and sat in the driving seat. He immediately started the car because he didn't want Zila to get out again. Zila got angry at this and gave him a hard death glare but Kay didn't even bother as he was also angry at Zila's behaviour. He clenched and unclenched his jaw and then finally snapped at Zila

"You don't want to sit with me but you will go and sit with this driver. What do you take me as?"

Zila smirked a little and Kay widened his eyes as he was waiting for Zila's reply.

"Huh! You are my boss nothing more nothing less, And i don't think i have the right to sit with you. You are the great boss and I am just a mere accountant assistant."

Kay gave her a disgusting look before turning his head and focusing on the road. He wasn't in the mood to argue with Zila so he didn't bother and just let it go.

The drive was quite long and Zila was getting tired, Kay realized this and after three hours of drive he pulled near a luxurious cafe. Zila looked at him and asked

"Why did we stop here?"

Kay gave her a genuine smile and replied while looking straight in her eyes .

"Because i am hungry."

Zila rolled her eyes at this and got off the car, Kay also got off after parking his car. Zila was waiting for him infront of the cafe while analyzing her surroundings. When Kay came, she immediately followed him and into the cafe. A waiter welcomed them and took them to a table for two on the request of Kay.

Kay pushed out the chair for Zila being a gentleman while Zila furrowed his brow but didn't say anything as he didn't want to create a scene infront of the waiter. Zila sighed but sat down making Kay smile victoriously. The waiter gave both of them the menu card but Zila pushed it saying she wasn't hungry. Kay held the menu card hard and quite frustrated and said while greeting his teeth.

"Order something Zila! Otherwise i will order myself for both of us, then don't blame me if you don't like it later."

"Like i said, i don't want to eat anything nor i am hungry."

Kay still remembered the doctor telling him about Zila and she not eating her food. Kay narrowed his eyes and gave a hard glare to Zila but she didn't even bother and started to look around. Kay sighed at this and ordered himself for both Zila and for himself.

"Two servings of lava cake and two vegetable sandwiches with two orange juices."

Kay told the waiter who was standing beside him with a pen and notepad in his hand still going through the menu card. After the waiter noted down everything he asked

"Anything else Sir"

Kay shook his head in disapproval and gestured the waiter through his hand to leave. The waiter immediately left while nodding a little.

Kay then turned his gaze towards Zila and she narrowed her eyes while saying.

"I told you I don't want to eat. Why do you still order for me?"

"Because i want to."

Kay immediately snapped at her giving her a wide smile which made her more pissed and with all her might she stepped on his foot from under the table and he hissed in pain but still kept the smile on his face. Zila was getting more angry seeing him smile and she started biting her lower lip quite frustrated because of Kay but Kay was just enjoying it very much to tease her. Zila then averted her gaze from Kay and started to analyze her surroundings. The cafe was quite beautiful and a man was walking around the hall with a sitar making the atmosphere more romantic and Zila really loved it.

Zila was looking here and there when Kay suddenly spoke breaking the silence in them.

"So how have you been."

Zila raised her eye brow and looked at him with a little confusion on her face because Kay was showing concern. She then replied coldly because she still was angry at Kay.

"Why..."

Just when she was going to reply, Kay's phone rang and he immediately picked it up after analyzing the caller id which was of an unknown number. Zila became quiet and again averted her gaze and started to analyze her surroundings. While seeing here and there, she saw a couple who were sitting while looking into each other's eyes. The girl's hand was already on the table and on her hand the boy's hand was resting. A big bouquet of red flowers was on the table beside their hands. Both of them were looking at each other with love, care and affection. Zila could clearly see love in both of their eyes.

Zila at first smiled a little on seeing the cute couple who was sitting right in front of her. But then her heart ached and she got a little jealous of them. She immediately averted her gaze and started to look down on her fingers and played with them.

Kay got a call from an unknown number and he got a little confused as it was his personal number and not many people knew about it other than his family. He picked up the call and said hello, just when he heard the reply of the other person on the call, his eyes went wide and he became a little shocked.

"Hello.."

"Hey Kay!"

A feminine voice was heard on the phone by Kay, the voice was quite shrill and sweet. Her voice felt familiar to Kay and just when he began to analyze the voice, the girl spoke again and Kay immediately recognized the owner of that voice.

"Do you remember me Kay?"

A smile immediately appeared on his face.
