36 Marriage Proposal

Just as her mother said that everyone's eyes widened with shock and disbelief.

No one knew what to say but after realizing what she just said Javi got really angry and opened her mouth to say something but just as she was about to, she felt a rough and manly hand on her hand which was non-other than her husband's.

She snapped her eyes at him, their eyes met and he shook his head in disapproval as to stop her from saying anything.

She nodded her head and held his hand while giving it a little shake. She told him through the gesture of her eyes that she will not say anything and he sighed in relief.

Now everyone was looking at Kay waiting for his reply. He snapped his eyes at mother and daughter with rage-filled in his eyes. His jaw clenched and unclenched as he restrained himself from taking any action.

He pulled out his hand from his pocket and pointed a finger towards Sunmi. He said while gritting his teeth.

"I will never ever marry this shameless girl. Everyone knows what she did with me and Zila and you are telling me to marry this girl."

Kay said in a sarcastic tone, disgust and hatred for Sunmi can be clearly seen on his face and in his voice but little did Sunmi care.

All she wanted was to marry Kay by hook or by crook.

She loved Kay all her life but was it love, lust, or the love that comes with money?

Sunmi got angry when she heard Zila's name and she hated the fact that Kay didn't like her even a little bit. She banged her hands on the table and stood up, she gave a hard glare to Kay and said

"Why Zila? How am I inferior to her?"

Kay didn't like disrespect and disobedience in any way.

He also stood up with so much force that the chair fell with a big thud and everyone flinched with the sudden blast.

"She is my wife and you are no one that's the difference."

Kay said in a "duh" tone and Sunmi gritted her teeth but this time her mother stood up from the chair and said to Kay with hatred towards Zila.

"Look Kay, she betrayed you and you don't deserve her so it's better if you move on."

With every passing minute, Sunmi and her mother were getting on his nerves but he was restraining himself from doing anything because she was his father's sister and he didn't want to be rude to her but by each passing minute it looked like he was losing his sanity and soon there would be a big storm coming.

Javi and Zen were just sitting and watching carefully what was going on? Javi was also getting angry but Zen restrained her from doing something stupid and she obeyed him.

"Yes, I don't deserve her cause she deserves a better man than me."

His heart clenched and he felt a pang in his heart when he realized that a nice girl like Zila didn't deserve him but a better person.

But despite all this, he will never ever let her go. She is his wife and that will never change. She is his and only his, she is his possession, his love, his wife, his family, his everything and he will never ever let her go. Even if she begged him to let her go, he would still not let her go and that was his promise to himself.

She will stay as his wife until their death.

Sunmi's mother shook her head as she realized how much Kay had fallen for that girl but she still wouldn't leave hope and would do anything to make him marry her daughter.

She thought for a while and decided to leave this topic as she knew how stubborn Kay could be and that he would never agree with them if she forced him.

She decided to take things slow and slowly make Kay marry Sunmi.

She sat back on her chair and Sunmi snapped her eyes at her mother and asked through the gesture of her eyes why she sat down? Is she going to leave this topic that easily?

But her mother shook her head and gestured her to sit back on the chair. She did as she was told and obediently sat back on her chair.

Kay saw them sitting back on their chairs so he also decided to sit. He looked back at the maid and she immediately stepped forward, slowly picking up the chair. After adjusting it, she again sat back.

"Serve the dishes."

Sunmi's mother said to the maid who was standing by the door and in a blink of an eye, the table in front of them got filled with different cuisines and they started to eat their dinner.

No one said anything in between the dinner, the whole dining room was filled with the noises of munch, crunch, and slurp (sounds of eating food).

The knife and fork struck the plate making a sound.

Sunmi's eyes never left Kay and she kept on gawking at him with lust in her eyes.

Kay just ignored her and focused on his dinner.

After dinner, Kay ordered the maids to take Sunmi and her mother to their rooms and they obediently went without saying anything.

Kay sighed in relief when the mother and daughter went away from there. After that, he turned towards Javi and Zila. His expression suddenly changed from dark to soft. He looked towards them with love and care.

Zen chuckled when he saw the most dangerous man of Asia smiling like a fool in front of his sister.

"Sorry, you had to see all this drama."

Kay said while looking down a little as he was feeling a little embarrassed.

It was the first time Javi's husband came home and he had to see all this drama but then Javi spoke

"Don't worry, I got to know about all this long ago and.... Zen also knew."

She said the last sentence and bowed her head down as she felt embarrassed but Kay chuckled and said.

"So you have told him everything already. What if he is a bad boy?"

Kay asked Javi with a raised brow and a little mischievousness in his eyes.

"Then I will kill him with my own hands."

Javi said with a proud smile and Zen immediately remembered the threat Kay gave him earlier. He chuckled and shook his head before saying

"Like brother, Like sister."

Kay also realized why he said that and chuckled. He is always proud of his sister and he was happy that she shared everything with her husband because this will make their bond much stronger.

Now all of them started chatting with each other, forgetting about all the drama that took place there a minute ago.

Kay told Zen about Javi's childhood and all of them laughed and teased Javi, which made her angry at them and pouted like a child and they ended up teasing her more.

Now it was already night and Zen stood up from his chair saying he should leave now.

Kay nodded and gave him a big manly hug.

Javi decided that she will stay here tonight as she didn't want to leave Kay alone with that Sunmi in this house.

Kay already wanted Javi to stay and when she said that she will stay here tonight, Kay's face lightened up and he asked the maids to quickly set up her room.

Kay told Javi to take Zen towards the parking area and see him off.

Javi and Zen went towards the parking area and the whole time no one said anything. Both of them were waiting for each other to speak but no one got the courage to say something and at last, the car was in front of them.

Zen opened the car door while shaking his hand towards Javi. Javi also shook her hand and said a little "bye".

Zen sat in the car and Javi turned around, she was just about to leave but suddenly Zen stepped out of the car and hugged her from the back.

A smile appeared on her face and she turned around to face him. She also hugged him hard and Zen said

"I will miss you."

"Miss you too."

Then again he went towards his car. Both of them again shook their hands from a distance and then Zen finally left and Zila went straight to her room as she was quite tired. She had a long warm shower and Kay down on her bed and missed her mother badly. Then she missed her father but then eventually slept with tears in her eyes.
