30 Kay's Assistant (2)

The road was dark and he wasn't able to see anything clearly but still continued to walk.

He was walking with a heavy heart filled with utter fear. He remembered how his mother used to care for him and love him.

He was just in his deep thoughts when suddenly some boys in black clothes appeared in front of him. He immediately stepped back and looked towards them with shock and a little fear hidden in his eyes which he was trying really hard to hide.

He cautiously took some steps back and the boys in black took some steps forward. There were six of them. Two of them had a big dagger in their hands, one had a ballista while the other three had guns in their hands.

He shuddered when he saw all of them fully armed and that they were looking really dangerous.

He gulped the lump in his throat and began to look here and there to find a way to escape from there, but nothing came in view. One of the man realized that he was finding a route to escape and gestured towards the other men who quickly surrounded him and now his chances to leave from there were really less.

He was sweating really hard now and his legs started to shake because of the fear and soon they gave up but he still didn't lose hope and stood in front of them with a shocked expression.

He was trying really hard to look strong in front of them.

One of the man, who was holding a ballista took heedful steps towards Landen and he tried to step back but stopped in his track when he realized the man, who were standing just on his back.

The man came forward and slapped Landen so hard that he hissed in pain. The man was wearing some kind of rings so when he slapped him that ring caused Landen's lips to tear upon from the right side and blood started to ooze out of it.

His eyes were teary as he was now more scared. He wasn't that strong or omnipotent to fight those guys.

The boys basically came there to kill him by the orders of someone else who was the enemy of his father.

His father took some money from him after his company got bankrupt and never returned it back. He forced Landen's father to pay the debt back but he wasn't able to as he had nothing left so that man decided to kill his son which was suppose to be his precious thing in the world but little did he know that he didn't even care a little bit for his son and beat the hell out of him.

The man pulled out a big wipe from his side and moved his hand, quickly that it touched his skin in a violent way.

He wiped him two or three times and every time the wipe made contact with his skin a whimper escaped his mouth. He was biting his lower lip to restrain himself for crying out loud but his eyes were teary and he was on the verge of crying.

He was now on the floor as his legs were shaking and he couldn't stand anymore. The wipe striked with his skin again and his shirt tear open, his bruises were on complete display.

A whimper escaped his mouth and his vision blurred. The man than kicked so hard on his stomach that he spited some blood from his mouth.

The other men also came towards him and started beating him by punching, kicking and dragging him here and there.

He wasn't doing anything but laying on the floor lifeless being dragged here and there.

His face showed no expression while tears were falling through his eyes.

He was just wishing to die early now as he wasn't able to take all their tortures anymore.

His breathing became hitched and soon there was darkness in front of his eyes.

He closed his eyes not before having a glimpse of the man who pushed everyone off of Landen and started beating them.

It was Kay, he was going back to his home after working in his company when he saw some men beating a boy, mercilessly.

His eyes immediately felt with rage and he came out of his car and towards the men. He first pushed all of them off of him and punched the guy with the wipe on his face.

The men gritted his teeth and moved his hand so that his wipe can strike with Kay but the wipe was immediately caught by one of Kay's body guard and now the whole area was surrounded with his bodyguards who were pointing their gun at the men.

All of the men first looked here and there to find a route to escape but when they found nothing and realized that they can't leave from there alive now, they held their hand in the air as a sign of surrender.

Kay smirked and went towards the boy, he looked at him with care and pity. He ordered his men to come near and two of them immediately came running towards him.

He ordered them in his deep husky voice and they immediately nodded and obeyed to his order.

"Take him to my car."

He said pointing towards the boy and then his car.

He also went towards his car and after bringing the engine to life he immediately drove off ti the nearest hospital.

When he reached the hospital, he went towards the reception and told the receptionist about that boy and she sent some men along with Kay.

They picked up the boy from his car and gently let him lay down on the bed and then they took him to the emergency room.

Kay again went towards the receptionist and payed off all the expenses, the hospital was quite luxurious and expensive.

Kay sat on the chair which was just outside the emergency room. The chair was quite comfy and Kay relaxed on it, he was quite tired after working all day.

He closed his eyes and lay back on the chair while massaging his temples through his right hand.

After about half hour, a doctor finally came out of the room and towards Kay. The doctor told him about his condition and Kay nodded his head.

"The patient is in better condition now. We have already treated his wounds and he will be discharged in the morning. One more thing, he has malnutrition, it feels like he haven't eaten anything from days. You have to take care of his meals and you can go see him now."

Kay sighed and felt pity for the poor boy. He entered the room and saw the boy looking like he was lifeless on the bed with an iv sringe inside him. A nurse gave him an injection before finally leaving from there.

Kay took cautious and slow steps towards the bed, his breathing hitched when he saw the boy.

He was quite handsome by because of his current condition and all the bruises he was looking quite pitiful.

His head was bandaged along with his left arm. Kay gulped and finally spoke.

"How are you feeling?"

The boy looked at him with teary eyes and said,

"Why did you save me? You should just leave me there to die but still thank you so much."

Kay realized that the boy was already in many problems that's why he didn't wanted to live anymore.

Kay was first curious but he didn't wanted to ask him but about his matters so he just said to him

"You wanna work from me. I see you have potential in you and you will be a great assistant. I will give you a job, house and much more but I only want won thing in return that is never ever betray me."

The boy was already helpless and desperately in need of a job. He nodded his head a little too harshly and his face brightened, a small smile appeared on his face but then he hissed in pain as he moved his head vigorously.

His head started to spin but he said to Kay with full confidence and sparkling eyes that Kay also smiled and he felt proud of his own decision to make him his assistant as he found the truthfulness of that boy in his eyes.

"I would love that and I promise you that I will never ever betray you, I had rather die than to betray you."

Both of them was now happy as Kay found a man to trust and he found a job to rely on. Kay said to him and he nodded his head with a bright smile.

"You will be leaving with me tomorrow and I will take you to my penthouse. You can start working after two to three days and the doctor said you should take your meals, regularly."
