2 Break up

SLAP....

Kay slapped Zila so hard that she fell on the ground. It felt like that slap directly went towards Zila's heart.

Her mind was continuously telling her to just run away from there and never come back because that slap hurted her ego, and she was quite angry at Kay for doing that, but then her heart was all for Kay only, and it didn't want to leave him either.

So she tried, again and again, holding her face from one hand, still laying a little on the floor, and looked towards Kay with shock and fear. Tears started brimming out of her eyes.

"No, Kay! Believe me! I didn't."

Zila yelled at him, but it looked like he didn't care anymore.

He just stood there with a furious look on his face and yelled at her at which she started sobbing hard.

"Shut up! I don't want to hear a single word from your mouth."

She looked at him with disbelief. All her efforts had been in vain.

He no longer wanted to believe in Zila again, but she would do anything to make him believe her once again.

"Kay, I love you and only you!"

"Do you expect me to believe this? These are just words, no actions."

Kay held Zila up and grabbed her arms.

Zila hissed in pain, she tried to free herself from his grip, but to no avail, whenever she tried, Kay simply held her arms more harder and forced her to look at him.

"Kay, please stop! It hurts."

"What you did to me hurt even more!"

He gritted his teeth.

Zila was getting more and more afraid of him by each passing minute and was sobbing.

Then at last he yelled at her.

"GET OUT!"

She looked at him in disbelief but Kay showed no remorse.

Her eyes widened.

"Get out of this house. Get out of my life. I never want to see you again."

Zila stayed in the same spot. She wasn't leaving him.

But Kay started to drag Zila to the main door, once he reached there he opened the door and threw her out.

Zila was still crying and pleading Kay to believe her and let her in.

But he didn't even bother to listen to all his pleading and just left her there on the floor crying. Before he slammed the door, he glared at her rudely.

Zila banged the door, pleading Kay to believe her.

But there was not a single reply.

Kay went straight to his room.

Zila felt helpless.

She started to sob. She was sure that Kay wouldn't open the door for her but she had to try.

After crying and pleading Kay for hours, she finally left.

Kay observed her from his window and then went to sleep.

Tears flowed down her face. A part of her just really wanted Kay back.

Kay's cousin (sunmi) was always jealous of Zila. She actually wanted to marry Kay but Kay didn't care about her, not one bit and when Zila got married to Kay her hatred towards Zila only increased.

Kay's uncle and aunt asked him to marry Zila as some sort of peace treaty as they wanted peace in both countries and this was the best way to do so.

Kay agreed with them as there wasn't any girl who Kay liked anyway, so he decided to marry Zila.

Zila was actually the princess of Roain country and Kay was the crown prince of Finorea.

Finorea was a place that was quite big and more powerful as compared to Roain. Sunmi was from Dondia and her country was slightly stronger than Roain.

She always hated the fact that a girl who had a slightly lower status than her was able to marry Kay, so she planned to take Zila down.

She paid a man to act, stay in a hotel room and told him the plan.

"I will call the girl here. You just act according to plan."

Sunmi called Zila and asked her to meet her at the same hotel she told that man to stay at.

Zila had agreed because Sunmi was Kay's cousin and she wanted to be polite. She had reached the front of the hotel, and read the message Sunmi sent her.

Zila sent her a message, informing Sunmi she'd be there soon, and then went straight towards the reception to ask where she could find that room.

When Zila was entering the hotel, the guy Sunmi paid took her photos in entering the hotel and room and sent those pictures to Kay.

On seeing the pictures from an unknown number, Kay hurriedly went to that hotel and when he entered that room, he saw Zila sitting on a man's lap.

He became furious. Zila was extremely shocked and started crying but Kay was so angry he slammed the door and left.

The guy Sunmi paid suddenly disappeared and Zila hurriedly went to Kay's home and tried to explain what really happened, but he wouldn't listen and kicked her out of the house.

~~~8 Months Later~~~

Kay and Zila both live separately now. Zila lived with her brother and sister in law, and Kay lived alone.

Zila, her brother and her sister in law were eating breakfast in the dining room when Raila suddenly spoke.

"Zila! My friend's daughter is getting married, and you should come with me."

Zila simply sighed and nodded at her.

After Zila and Kay's breakup, Zila had to face all the taunts by her relatives but now Zila got used to them and didn't bother to defend herself.

At this time, her sister in law and brother were the only one who didn't say anything to her and fully supported her, and she really appreciated it.

But currently, she wasn't ready to date anyone or go back to dating Kay.

Suddenly Zila got a call from her colleague who told her that the company she worked at had been bought and that our new boss will be coming next week, so she asked her to come quickly as they had to prepare the sufficient preparations to welcome their new boss.

Zila hurriedly left after saying goodbye to her brother and sister in law. She started her car and drove off to her office.

She didn't take anything that Kay gave her when he kicked her out of his house.

Whenever she remembered that, she always still felt and she felt rejected and unlovable.

But now, she worked as a personal assistant in a real estate company.

~~~~A week later~~~~

Zila's boss: I have to go now. The new boss will be here by noon, he is quite stubborn, but I trust you will treat him well.

"Don't worry sir! I will!" she exclaimed.

Her boss gave her a smile before finally leaving.

With that, Zila's boss left.

Zila started to make preparations for her new boss, and by noon, everything was ready and all of the company's workers including Zila who were all waiting for their new boss.

At noon, the boss arrived, he wore a black tuxedo that complemented his perfectly brown gelled hair.

A lot of men surrounded him, and she assumed they were security guards, as they wore black suits while holding a plethora of guns.

All of the company workers stood in two rows. One on left and one on right, they all bowed in front of him as respect.

He strolled past them with his hand in his pockets. Zila was standing in the center of rows when she saw Kay entering the company. Upon seeing her ex-husband Kay, her eyes widened and felt like they'd fall from their sockets.

Kay walked in front of her and their eyes met.

She had mixed emotions and didn't know what to say. Her eyes had gathered tears as she remembered all those horrible memories and stood there speechless.

But she wouldn't let her emotions get the best of her. She calmed down and tried her best not to seem vulnerable and weak to the man who ruined her life.

She put on her nicest voice and greeted her new boss.

"Welcome Sir!"

Kay looked at her for a while, probably expecting her to break down in tears, but nothing like that happened, instead she was standing there looking confidently in his eyes.

Not knowing what else to say, he replied.

"Thanks Z!"

Zila narrowed her eyes and glared at him. He just sighed while Zila gestured towards the right side of her, she was pointing to his new office.

When they were close enough, Zila whispered in his ear "It's Miss Zila for you." Before she told him she'd take him to his new office.

Kay was no longer mad at Zila, because he found out the truth about what really happened.

He knew that his cousin set Zila up. But he didn't bother to try and win her back, because he was in danger. So he decided that he will wait for Zila until he could protect her in the right way.

But he wanted to be close to Zila too, so he found out which company Zila was working for and immediately bought that company, so he could watch Zila from close quarters.
