Evans pov's

What! I said staring at her with a susprised looked.

"Is this little girl for real" I thought.

"How could she have thought of that"

I looked around to make sure no one heard our little conversation cause I wouldn't want Emily glaring daggers at me for what her daughter said.

How could she be so smart, for a little girl of her age

I looked at her with a frown on my face not knowing what else to say to her

"Hmm" I said to her softly.

"You know your mom won't be happy with what you just said' I said to her still being concious of my surroundings incase anyone was evasdroping.

"You want me to be your daddy?" I asked and bent down to her level

"Yes" she nodded her head positively while I caressed her cheeks softly and she giggled.

"Well let's get going" I said as u grabbed her hands.

If she wants me to be her daddy them I have a chance to be with Emily I smiled at my thought

And she can help me make Emily fall inlove with me.

Wow this is so great

"Uncle Evans" eva called snapping back to consciousness.

"Hmm" I said a bit startled

Well eva I really do like your mommy I added as we both hel our hands walking

"Really" she beamed

"Yes cupcake, I hope you going to help me win her heart" I said winking at her

"Yes uncle Evans" she said squealing

"Yayyy" she jumped up

I laughed at how excited she is just because I like her mom.

"But what if her mom doesn't like me at all.

What if she has another man in her life"

Or maybe she can't be with someone of my class.

Or am way out of her league I thought in panicked.

All this thought kept flooding in my heart and it gave me cold chills.

Don't think much about this Evans I warned myself.

Well this should be a good start I thought

"Yes if the duaghter likes you then her mommy has to agree" my subconscious said and I smiled in agreement..

We returned to the sitting room to see Emily talking to some maid which she dismiss when she noticed our presence.

"Eva it's time to go to school' she said gesturing for her daughter to come closer which she did.

"Mommy can uncle Evans come along" she pleaded and stare at both Emily and I simultaneously.

"Can't you see he needs rest" Emily said frustrated as she touched her forehead with her hands.

"But please mom" she urged again faking tears

It okay, am coming along I said in finality as I walked in front of them.

"But...." Emily said pointing at my injured arm.

"It fine" I said smiling warming at her while she just nodded

I got into the car with the help of Emily.

And she quickly ignited the engines and drive us to Eva's school.

I kept telling eva funny jokes and she laughed out loud

I glance at Emily to know if she likes my joke but she kept a straight face.

I caught her one time from the front mirror staring at me and our eyes got fixed there as we both stare at each other deeply like we were having a staring contest.

"Watch out" eva screamed bringing us back to reality

"Ahh" Emily yelled and quickly control the vehicle.

"That was close" I exclaimed holding onto my chest with my left hand as I breath heavily.

"Ahh" Eva and I sighed in relieved as everything went back to normal.

We arrived at school and eva came down from the car excited.

Emily came down and held her duaghter hands ready to take her into her class

When we heard Eva's little voice again

"Mommy can Uncle Evans join in taking me to class" little Eva asked in a pleading voice....

"No baby" Emily replied quickly a little pissed at Eva's request

"Why mommy?" she asked stomping her feet lightly in disagreement.

"Well because he needs rest and he can't follow us" Emily replied in an already pissed tone staring at me deeply

All this while I pretended not to be aware of there discussion as I face another direction

"Please mommy" Eva quickly pleaded clasping her tiny hands together.

"Oh Eva what is wrong with you" Emily yelled at her

Immediately eva busted into fake tears and kept sobbing.

"Am sorry please baby don't cry" Emily pleaded quickly

"Fine I would ask your Uncle Evans to join us okay" she added quickly and eva immediately stop crying and beamed

"Really" she asked with her tiny voice and Emily nodded

"Em Evans can you please join me drop eva in her class?" emily asked glaring at me

Oh God why does she always glare at me whenever Eva request for something.

"Sure anything" for my cupcake I said and Eva's jumped up happily..

I got down from the car and Emily and I both held Eva hands together

We walked in and people kept muttering

• Is that emily husband •

•He so cute and dreamily one sai and Emily scoffed•

•wow they looked like one happy family another Said•

We kept receiving different comment from people as we walked in

All this while Eva's kept giggling at the comment we received from passerby.

I could hear the sounds of clicking cameras.

Oh no don't tell me they are taking pictures also.

I turn to look at Emily face slightly and it held no expression at al

We got to get class with Eva with us

"Good morning" Emily greeted Eva teacher warmly.

"Morning Miss James" the teacher reply reveling her set of white teeth.

"Take care of eva" Emily said to her softly when she nodded in understanding.

We would take our leave now Emily added when Eva voice interrupted us and we both turn around to know what she was about saying.

"Hello class meet my dad" she yelled.
