2 2 - Target Secured

Industrial District, Winsley City

00:31H

Three figures were hiding beneath the shadows of the night as they made their way to an abandoned warehouse. Each of them were clothed in black suits, armed with their own choice weapons and stealthily gliding along the walls that served as their cover. Once inside the structure, they all went to their own corner to hide, waiting for the go-signal to attack the place.

Surrounding them were clusters of crates of unknown goods. Old wooden chairs were scattered unceremoniously everywhere. The security appeared tight, considering the importance of what were hidden inside the inner office.

"We're all in positions." Silver Spoon, one of the figures in black spandex suit, spoke through a wrist mic. As soon as all three of them secured their positions, they all waited for their leader's instructions.

"Alright, you know what to do. Remember, I don't want any noise."

Dragon finally sent his words to his team, as he watched all movements through a series of screen monitors in their undercover van. He and Blue Bear were stationed in the van to monitor the area, providing on-point locations of their target as well as enemies for this mission, and most importantly, to serve as their look out.

Earlier, Blue Bear tampered the cctv monitors of the enemy, feeding them with false video feeds. The actual live feed was shown in their group's tv monitors.

Blue Bear's voice sounded in their earpiece, "Green Day, a lone minion(1) at your 1 o'clock, 10 meters and closing in. Silver Spoon you have one right after the crates in front of you. Firebird, 5 meters, 3 o'clock."

Green Day planted himself on top of a cluster of crates, eyes searching for the clued in enemy guard. He gripped his crossbow and positioned his arms, as he readied to pull the trigger as soon as a target came in sight. When it did, he immediately launched an arrow, which then lodged to the enemy's forehead. The guard fell on the ground with a thud.

Another guard heard the fall and ran towards the sound, and saw his companion who fell down on the ground. Before he could shout an alarm, Green Day shot another arrow to his face that pierced through his mouth down his throat. The arrowhead exited the back of his neck. Green Day would have laughed his ass off from the shot's accuracy should they were under a different circumstance.

Meanwhile, Silver Spoon was hastily moving behind a cluster of crates, a specially designed fixed-blade knife in his right hand. He saw an enemy guard and sneaked behind him without a sound. With his left hand, he covered the mouth and nose of the guard while simultaneously slashing his blade to the neck. Instantly, the guard fell down lifeless, blood pooling underneath the body. He ducked down and pulled a sky-hawk knife from his leg pocket and threw it towards the approaching guard that he'd seen earlier. As it lodged deep into his neck, Silver Spoon immediately took cover when he spotted another guard a few feet away from where he was.

On another corner, Firebird spotted one guard and dragged him to his corner. His left arm hooked under the neck crossing it with the other, gripping the head blocking any and all possible airway. The defenseless guard started to turn purple then stopped struggling as any sign of life left his body. Firebird mercilessly dropped the body to the ground and started to scan the area once again.

Their advances continued as more bodies fell on the ground in their wake.

"Silver Spoon, two minions 8 o'clock, closing in 6 meters." Seconds later, Blue Bear hurriedly informed the team, "Five meters and closing."

Dragon instructed, "Green Day, take care of Silver Spoon's 8 o'clock."

Soon as Dragon's voice faded, Green Day shifted to his left side. From his high vantage point, he was able to see the ground where the rest of his team were silently killing their way to the target. He pointed his automatic crossbow to an unaware guard and within seconds, two bodies were added to the pile of their kills for the night.

Adrenaline continuously pumped through their veins, hastening their clean-up of enemy guards. They were now really close to their targets, just a few paces away. They remained silent as they observed the surroundings before proceeding to the target door.

After catching their breaths, the three men stopped in front of an unmarked door - the door that would lead them to their mission's target.

Firebird eyed a signal to his companions before he slowly turned the doorknob. However, before he went further, Blue Bear's voice warned them.

"Hold on. I don't have an eye inside that room. But based on my captured infrared and thermal images, there's only the target inside. Be careful of the traps, however. Go on now."

With the warning sent, Green Day switched on his laser light. Almost instantly, invisible wires started to light up inside the room, like Chrismas lights during winter nights.

He put on a pair of special goggles he pulled out from his backpack. After looking around, he pointed a finger in front and said, "There's the switch on your 12 (o'clock position). Let me dance my way there." He smirked as he flambouyantly sauntered his way inside.

Knowing what their companion meant, the rest of the men held back a chuckle.

Green Day started to bend forward, stretching out his arms and legs. He glided ahead, flipped his body multiple times by executing moves that resembled a male gymnast, somersaulting his way across the room until he safely reached the laser lights' switch. Finally, he stood up and reached out to pull a lever. The next moment, all the laser lights disappeared and the three men were finally able to enter the room.

There, they saw an unconscious woman tied in an office chair, all battered and bruised to a point where blood had dried up on both sides of her face. Anyone who saw her would no doubt feel heartbroken. A once beautiful and gorgeous woman was treated like a punching bag.

After the initial shock of seeing their target, they began to move forward. While Firebird and Silver Spoon were untying the woman, Green Day looked around for the package specified in this mission. He pulled on a drawer, found a hidden compartment and was able to retrieve an external hard drive.

"Target secured -"

"Package secured -"

Soon enough, the three dark figures started to move out of the abandoned warehouse, their targets safely secured in their hold.
