Sun Young-mi can't catch a break

Later in the day, the police publicly released the news that the dead body of Diana Lee had been found on Diamond island. The middle-aged actress had been strangulated to death with her own scarf. The news of her death sent waves of shock through the industry but what made it worse was the rumour that Seung-ho was being investigated because he was the last person who had been seen interacting with her on a security camera.

~ What a laughable matter. Why would someone like Seung-ho commit murder? He's filthy rich. If he wanted a washed-up actress to die then all he had to do was pay someone to kill her.

~ I can't believe they're actually investigating Seung-ho.

~ The police have to show the public that something is being done. Seung-ho will sit for five minutes and drink a cup of tea with the police and then he will be on his way. You people are just freaking out over nothing. Everyone knows he can't have killed her. It's a publicity stunt okay? A publicity stunt!

~ But who is the real killer? And why kill Diana Lee? Does he have a personal grudge against the woman?

~ Dan-bi sacrificed Diana Lee on her birthday. Everyone who attended the party is in on it and this story is just a cover-up. They picked Seung-ho to play the red herring because he's untouchable.

Ji-ho read through the comments with interest. It seemed to be a unanimous belief amongst the netizens that Seung-ho was not capable of murdering another person. Aside from him, there was no doubt that the police would question her and all the other attendees of the party.

The young woman was laying on her bed and staring at the ceiling as a feeling of unease settled in her stomach. What if the killer really was Seung-ho? What could he hope to achieve from taking her life? Even if he had a motive for it, he could have disposed of her with money alone. It didn't make sense for him to personally murder the woman.

"What the hell are you thinking, stupid girl?!" She berated herself. She had to start preparing for her live session which was due to start in an hour.

A video clip was uploaded to the net that night. It was titled - Sun Young-mi is a social climber.

Ji-ho watched the twenty-second clip of herself during various stages of the party. Her dance with Seung-ho was especially highlighted by the person who had been secretly taking videos of her all through the night. Right after her dance, the video showed her sneaking away from the party and it was edited to look like she was taking off with Blue who followed just behind her.

"The wonders of editing!" Ji-ho said to her phone screen.

The video then showed the picture of Tae-Hyun's car parked outside her apartment. The words over the picture read - "Sun Young-mi, you have been seen with Tae-Hyun, Seung-ho, and Blue. How many more men are you going to whore around with?"

Ji-ho leaned on the backrest of her chair and she thought back to the party. Could it have been Iris who had taken the videos of her? Or one of Dan-bi's lackeys?

As expected from the netizens, she was bombarded with accusations and questions on Koka.

Ji-ho sighed with irritation. Just who was behind the malicious attack on her character?

The commenter provided a link on their comment which Ji-ho clicked. She was taken to Tae-Hyun's profile where a post had been freshly uploaded.

*I didn't want this to get out before making an official statement about it but my hand has been forced. @Young.mi is signing under S.S. and I was at her home that night to request that she join my label. If you recall, it was the day that she revealed her rendition of wildflower to us. The video that we've all seen is a vicious attempt at character assassination of a young girl who has already been through untold trauma. Be kind. You don't know what she might be going through.*

Ji-ho felt her fondness for the man grow as she read his defence of her. The likes on his fresh post were already growing by the thousands and being shared by the hundreds.

In the next few minutes, Aera also made a post about it. A screenshot of the video was uploaded with a message.

*Is this a joke? @Young.mi sorry I forced you to accompany my brother. Who knew that a friendly dance could be so misconstrued by the person who was stalking you during the party. Why isn't anyone talking about that? It's creepy and shows how malicious this person's intentions are.*

~ Now that you think about it.......

~ I'm waiting for Blue's statement any moment now. What excuse will he give for sneaking off with her hmmm?
