93 What's Going On?!?

Officer Davin Davies was a nice enough person as officers go, he spoke to Eli and Olivia with respect and kindness but it didn't help their situation when they walked into the station. The silence was eerie, as all the officers in the station glared at Olivia as she walked by. "Hun don't pay them too much attention, they are just embarrassed that cameras were rolling when you pulled your ... cough.... little stunt." he said with a side smile.

"Honestly between you, me, Eli and the floor boards that dumb*ss had it coming. Seriously who the f*ck leaves keys in the ignition but whatever, what happened has happened and who am I to judge what you did." Officer Davin whispered with a sparkle in his eye dark brown eyes.

His face turned serious as the approached one of the interrogation rooms. "On a personal level I will not judge what you did at the Maki Hudu Memorial Building but as someone who needs to make sure that citizens abide by the law.... well that is a different story." Officer Davin said as all traces of his happy go lucky demeanor left and all Olivia saw was a stone cold face.

She felt a massive chill run down her body as he stretched out his arm and opened the door to the room. "Go on in little lady someone will be with you momentarily." he instructed as he nodded his head towards the room's direction. Olivia took a few steps in and turned to see if Eli was going to join her when she saw Officer Davin blocking his entry. With one pitiful look Officer Davin slammed the door to the interrogation room.

Olivia ran towards the door, she started to jiggle the handle but it was no use she was locked in. She started slamming her palm against the door "Hey what's going on?!? Why am I locked in! Hello? Hello!" she shouted but no one responded. She placed her ear against the door and she could hear muffled shouts from the other side. Her heart was pounding as the shouts started to fade.

The moment it became silent outside she peeled her ear off the door and started to pace the room. She checked her surrounds, it was a small grey room, one wall had a mirror covering half of it. Olivia was almost certain it was a a two way mirror and someone was watching her from the other side. She looked at the center of the room and there was an elongated table and three chairs one that faced the mirror while the other two faced the opposite wall.

She looked up to the top right corner there was a surveillance camera with a blinking red light. She gave a sigh of relief at least there would be a recording of her imprisoned in the room and if need be she could try to get her hands on a copy of the tape for evidence if things turned ugly. She decided to sit in one of the two chairs facing the opposite wall of the mirror. She didn't need to look at herself as she thought out what was happening.

She placed her elbows on the table and cradled her face with her hands. 'Why would they want me looked in here... hmm... let's go back. At the debutante the police officers took longer then 15 minutes to show up. Next they were stopping people on the roads and sidewalks claiming that they were looking for the shooters that got away but was it really just that or were they looking for someone else.'

Olivia dropped one of her arms on to the table and leaned her face onto the her right head. 'What need would they have to try and find a person who was not one of the shooters. Next is the Maki Hudu Memorial Building, why would they have officers patrolling and guarding the building if they were pretty much down their investigation? Almost no one was in the building itself so she found it easy to get in without getting caught. There were also the officers conversation about Chief Wilhelm's decision to delay their departure.'

Olivia gave a deep sigh and pinched the area between her brows. 'If Eli was able to track her movement down why hadn't the police. The media was asking for the public's assistance in tracking her down but they never made a move on her. Finally why was it so hard to convince Chief Wilhelm to go to her location, if she was a wanted criminal for her actions why wouldn't he jump at the fact that Eli knew her location? No something was definitely wrong.'

Olivia leaned back into her chair and stared towards the ceiling "It was all my fault..." she recited to herself. There was a small click sound coming from the door, she turned her head lazily towards the door and watched as a beautiful young lady walk into the room with a bottle of water. She had her dark brown hair tied up into a high bun, her striking blue eye were cold and she wore a scowl as she briskly walked up to Olivia and slammed the bottle of water onto the table. "Was told you needed to stay hydrated or else I would be losing my job." She said pompously.

"Must be nice to have someone who is willing to get himself locked up but what do I know?! I'm just a selfish spinster wasting away my youth for the scum bags in this office." Olivia was shocked she didn't know what to say to this bitter woman. "Well whatever, I have done my job, I'm out." she said as she turned to leave the room. She placed one fair hand on the handle and hesitated opening the door when she heard Olivia give her thanks.

The woman gripped the handle as she struggled with something. Olivia thought she didn't hear her and cleared her throat. "I'm guessing your trying to tell me that Eli has been detained and got you to bring me some water, I'm sorry he pressured you and thank you." she said sincerely. The woman's shoulder's started to shake "Don't drink it all in one go, I don't think these bastards will let you go to the bathroom!" she shouted before she walked out of the room and slammed the door shut.

Olivia stared at the door for a while 'Hmmm so something is going on.' she thought before she unscrewed the top of the water bottle and took one small sip.

Olivia didn't know how long she had been sitting there but she was glad that she took the woman's advice. She had only drunken a quarter of her water and decided that she should at least get some sleep. As she laid her head down onto the table and closed her eyes. She heard the door click again and her eyes shot wide open, she didn't know how long she had been asleep for but finally someone was willing to talk to her. She was too groggy to lift her head up from the table and just turned to face the door.

It was the hefty ginger man that she stole the vest and car from. He had a an evil grin on as he approached her. Her body kicked into high alert and she quickly got up from the chair causing it to fall backward. She needed to distance herself from him and he was the only person who knew why. She took a quick look towards the camera and noticed the red blinking light was off.

She made her way around the table making sure that she was out of his reach. "Smart girl. You know you made me suffer quite a bit. I lost a lot of face with Superintendent Goodwill and I need to return the favor." he said as he licked his lips while his grey eyes screamed for blood. Olivia felt her body go cold.

She didn't know how long she would last before he got hold of her and she couldn't risk trying to get to the door just in case it was open. Her only option was to keep herself away till his time ran up. She figured that they couldn't explain a long blackout from the footage.

"Come on you little b*tch, I promise I will be super gentle..." he said darkly. Olivia started to sweat, she kept dodging his grasp. She couldn't risk defending herself against him, at least not in a building full of his colleagues that could easily turn the situation around. She felt relieved that the task at hand was relatively easy as the man was completely out of shape. She mentally counted the seconds then minutes and periodically looked at the corner to see if it turned back on.

Her heart soared when she saw the blinking red light appear, she sighed and let her guard down. The man took the opportunity to close the gap between him and her. He grab Olivia by the collar and brought her up to his face. It was now beat red and covered in sweat. "I finally caught you! Clenched your teeth we don't want anything flying out!" he spat into her face.

Her eyes started to shake as she watched the man lift up his fist into the air. "OFFICER LOUIS!" someone shouted as people entered the room. Officer Louis was too enraged to hear the person, his fist was now coming closer to her face. Olivia knew she was able to defend herself now that there were witness and video evidence. She swung her leg upward and hit him in his family jewels while she raised her arms to block his punch.

Officer Louis shrieked like a banshee, he let go of her collar and dropped to his knees. Olivia raised her hands into the air and backed away from the officer. Soon the door was crowded with police officer that had been walking by. A female and male had already entered the room and ordered the ogling officers to drag Officer Louis's body out of the room.

The male and female smiled at Olivia as they approached the table, they picked up the chairs that were now on the floor and sat down. The female had a very defined square jaw line and ruby red hair while the male looked like an asian playboy. They both wore casual clothes and offered the opposite chair for Olivia to sit in. "Don't worry we won't hurt you. We just have a few questions to ask you." the female said as she waved her dark hand towards the chair.
