9 Time to Make A Move

"Oh... this is so nice." Olivia said lazily as she sank her body into the open air hot spring. "Autumn I changed my mind again you are a freaking angel."

Autumn giggled as she answered "Well I figured you were going to be hostile in the change room so why not get a full body message first. At least by the time we walked to the women's hot spring you would have got that anger kneaded out of you."

"Besides" Blair chimed in "Who the hell can stay mad at Autumn for too long. You know she would have had some sort of plan cooked up to win your favour again." Blair stole a glance towards Autumns direction before she continued "We all know you have the looks of a chibi angel but in reality you're just a sneaky b**ch."

"Why Blair if I didn't know any better I think you were flirting with me." Autumn said as she raised her delicate hand to her soft round cheek and her face showing mock surprise.

Blair smiled as she scooted her body closer to Autumn and grabbed her raised hand. She looked deeply in to Autumns eyes and spoke in a low seductive tone "Baby you know I'm head over heels in love with you. Run away with me and become my wife."

"But I can't leave my life behind to be with you." Autumn said while exaggerating her body language of sadness and heart ache.

"Don't think! Just hold my hand tight and" Blair couldn't finish her speech as water was splashed onto her face. Blair quickly let go of Autumn's hand as she wiped the excess water. She looked towards the culprit.

Olivia had her cheeks puffed up as she spoke "Mom your not leaving me behind are you?!"

Blair gasped and looked at Autumn "Darling we have a love child! Why would you hide such a cutie from me?!" Autumn rolled her eyes and then started to out right laugh her butt off. Blair and Olivia looked at each other and couldn't hold back anymore. In the evening air, all anyone could hear from the women's hot spring located under numerous Japanese maple trees were the laughter of the three girls.

After a while the girls laughter finally died down, Olivia was still wiping the tears from her eyes when Blair spoke to her. "Olivia....will you talk to us about yesterday please?" Olivia's body turned stiff by the question. She gave a quick look at her friends, she saw the worry in each of their faces and knew it was rare for her to break down but she knew she could open her heart to them. They would never judge her regardless of what she said. With a heavy sigh she began "It actually started yesterday morning when I left work..."

After what seemed like forever Blair finally stopped pound her fist on the ground, the girl was shameless laughing her head off at her! She knew her friends wouldn't judge her but it wouldn't stop them from reacting. Autumn just sat there way too composed, her cute round eyes narrowed viciously. "Great, one finds my situation a comedy while the other is contemplating someone's destruction" she said as she looked at both girls. Blair finally started breathing normally and Autumn just sighed.

No one said anything for a while as the three of them looked up towards the beautiful red maple leaves above their heads. It was Blair that broke the silence as she asked "What do you want to do now Olivia? Do you want a path of love or revenge?" Olivia was so startled by the question, her eyes widened as she looked at Blair. The girls could have sworn they could hear Olivia's brain shifting gears trying to process the question, so Blair asked again "Love or revenge?"

"Hun if you can't chose why not have both?" Autumn asked. That finally did it, Olivia's face exploded red. She couldn't believe what she was hearing why in the world would love be an option? She wasn't in love that was stupid she didn't know what love was between a man and women. Friends sure, family absolutely but some of the opposite sex?! No it wasn't love. She took a deep breath and composed herself before answering. "You know I will never act out in vengeance until I'm pushed into a corner. I think for now it's a wait and see but I do need to make peace with the two sisters." she looked up with a plead full face "Will you help me?"

"Of course hun."

"Yes anything for you."

...

The girls finished changing after they got their facials and where ready to go. Autumn and Blair's rides were already waiting outside. The girls insisted that they would wait with her till her ride got there but Olivia refused "I will be ok. It's my dad that wants to pick me up personally so I can wait." The girls gave each other a quick hug goodbye before leaving for the night.

Olivia couldn't believe they spent two straight hours in this wonderful place. It really was magical and lived up to its name. No mater where you turned or what floor you were on the nature that was planted everywhere gave off the feeling you were in a garden full of wonder. As Olivia was busy day dreaming she didn't notice someone was standing beside her.

"Hi." a husky voice said. Olivia quickly came back from her thoughts as looked towards the direction of the voice. She quickly flushed as she meet with the jade green eyes and managed to mutter a shy "Hi" back. She didn't know what to do! Eli was standing right next to her and her heart was doing this stupid pounding against her chest again, she could barely breath.

The both of them stood there side by side as the night air started to get a little bit more chilly. Olivia only wore a simple light blue blouse and a dark gray pleated skirt. She was also wearing her favorite knee high white socks with the pretty blue bow and tiny two pom-poms on the back. She had her hair pulled half up and tied it elegantly with a royal blue bow.

While Eli wore a traditional white robe, tied with a beautiful aqua marine sash decorated with a silver trim and long open ended sleeves. He also wore an outer black robe over his shoulders that was decorated with little hand painted branches and plum blossoms everywhere.

Eli shrugged off his outer robe and stood right in front of Olivia. He only was a head taller then her but he gracefully spread the black robe up in the air above her head and landed it gently upon her shoulders. As he adjusted the collar around her neck he whispered "Sorry about before." and quickly stepped back to his initial spot.

Olivia was shocked, yes she was starting to feel cold but he apologized to her. She grabbed the outer edges of the robe and hugged herself. Olivia gathered up her courage and turned to Eli, with her lips trembling and eyes brimming with tears. All Olivia could say was a breathless "Thank you" as the tension eased up there was now comfortable silence between them now.

"You know I've never met someone so excited about our bath house before." Eli started "It was nice to hear the stuff you were saying and well you know I want to make it up to you for what happened yesterday and um...do you...you know...I kinda want to talk to you some more." Eli was visibly flustered, he continuously rubbed the back of his neck as he was speaking to her.

Olivia's jaw dropped "OMG! He's adorable!" she thought. She needed to answer him quickly as the silence was started to make him go more awkward. Suddenly a horn went off three times, both Olivia and Eli jumped out of their skins at the assaulting sound. Olivia looked towards the direction of the car "Ah my dad!" she shrieked. She took a quick look at at Eli and said "Ok." while she started to take off the robe. Eli quickly stopped her, readjusted it back on her and said ""Please keep it. It's cold outside and I want you to have it as a token of friendship."

Olivia blushed a bit as she nodded in agreement, thanked him again and ran off towards the car. Eli couldn't help but smile as he watched her run off. He stood rooted to the spot, arms interlocking themselves within his long sleeves. He decided to only back into the bath house after the car was out of his sight.
