10 Mission Probable

It was finally Monday and it was the last week before spring break. She was finally making her way to the school gates. It was exhausting today she tried so hard to forget the time but it was useless. She found herself look at the time ever chance she had but it just wouldn't move the way it had always done before. It was horrible!

She couldn't even lazily think back to the robe that was hung up in her room. The moment she let her mind wonder she would make mistakes during her tasks and it made things more difficult.

She finally made it into the compound and made her call to her dad. It was still really awkward between them since Saturday evening. Olivia decided to talk to her dad about what had happened Friday and how Eli came to apologize to her, she also told him about her plans to go to Tekula Academy today to find the sisters.

Unknown to her, Avery already knew what had happened Friday because of Edmond's detailed report. He was already seeing red when he saw the boy from the report talking to his daughter but kept himself composed and blasted his car horn instead.

.....

It was finally lunch time and Olivia felt relieved! She couldn't perform to her usual standards all morning and it was embarrassing. She read a loud the wrong page in english class, she gave the wrong answers in math and even tripped over her own shoes in gym. She was a mess and everyone in class whispered and giggled about it.

Autumn suggested that they had lunch outside today as it was a perfect spring day. Blair quickly agreed and Olivia absent-mindedly grabbed her school bag instead of her lunch.

Autumn being Autumn brought with her a picnic blanket and laid it down on the grass underneath a big tree. As they were eating lunch they decided to talk about their plan to skip the last class of the day in order to make it to Tekula Academy before the bell rang for the day. When a familiar group of boys were starting to sit beside the them.

"Well aren't you guys talking about something interesting." Blair hair stood straight up as she heard a very familiar voice. It was the bastard that tried to defend Eli on Friday and what the hell was he doing sitting beside her! His sloppy way of dressing hadn't changed, his shirt was slightly undone and his tie was lazily hanging around his neck but instead of a stoic face he was giving Blair a sly smile and looked at her with twinkling eyes. Both girls observed Blair and pitied her as she looked like a wild cat who was just sprayed in the face with a water gun.

Eli was openly staring at Olivia this time around. As he sat with his legs crossed, he rested his elbow on top of his one leg and used that arm to rest his head on his hand. Both jade green eyes focused on the girl beside him. "You are wearing your hair the same way you did Friday evening." Olivia snapped her head to his direction. He was sitting way too close to her, closer then her friends, so Olivia's heart started to do the same song and dance it did on Friday.

Eli now had Olivia's attention, he straighten up his back and raised his hand up to her hair. He gently grabbed a few locks of her straight auburn hair and ever so gently pulled it forwards towards him. She caught his scent on his wrist and slightly blushed it was the same earthly smell mixed with sandalwood and jasmine that lingered on the outer robe. "There" he said as he allowed her hair to slowly escape from his hand. "Now it's exactly like the other night."

....

It was finally time for the girls to leave. The boys, Eli Delmira, Marek Atleet, Porter Saggio and Rodan Yanjing wanted to join them but Blair strongly refused them. "You know Blair you could have at least let Eli come along, at least for Olivia's sake." Autumn pouted as they climbed into the taxi. "Your kidding right! You invite one and he'll find an excuse to invite another than another and you know what they all come! So no." Olivia and Autumn were speechless. "Besides I want to ask Olivia what happened after we left her Friday." Blair looked at Olivia inquisitively.

"Nothing!" Olivia said a little too loudly as she blushed bright red. Both girls stared intensely at Olivia. "Nothing really happened! He came and apologized and that's it!"

"Really? Cause they way you acted this morning and from the way you acted after lunch was a complete 180!" Blair accused the girl. Olivia couldn't rebut her because it was true and she couldn't understand it herself. She was Miss Clumsy this morning but the afternoon she was Miss Wonder Girl. Why not tell them she though maybe they can help her figure out what it meant. "Well you see..."

Why the hell couldn't she ever learn her damn lesson with Blair! She just loved to laugh shamelessly at her while Autumn sat there with a ridiculously wide grin and eyes sparkling at her. "So Olivia" Blair asked as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "Did you... wait hold on I'll ask you outside we are at Tekula's now." Blair paid for the fare and the three girls moved to the side of the gate. They still had 15 minutes till the students were sent home for the day. "So as I was saying. Did you spend the whole night sniffing his 'token of friendship'?"

"No! You know what I'm just gonna stand here quietly and wait for my mission to start! Alright! OK! Alight, gonna wait ...." Olivia said with a huff.

"Mission improbable" Blair said as she rolled her eyes.
