4 Chance Meetings - The Good

Olivia couldn't help but daze out as she was riding the train to school. The young man that was wearing the same uniform as her, reading in the park was someone she could not easily forget. She secretly wished she could have looked at him a little bit closer to to see the color of his eyes...."Wait" she thought what in the world was she thinking! It was already embarrassing enough that she openly ogled the young man in the park but to even think of wanting to continue the act was incredible rude.

The train was slowing down and she knew it was almost time to get off, she needed to compose herself. She slowly inhaled, a small Oh was released from her lips as she exhaled, a tantalizing scent had reached her and should couldn't help but try to inconspicuously sniff the air again to determine the smell.

It was an earthly smell with a mixture of sandalwood and jasmine, it was intoxicating, the people around her started to move forward and it quickly brought her back to reality. Mortified by her actions Olivia blushed, dropped her gaze to the floor allowing her straight auburn hair to create a safety blanket from the world, she needed to get out and onto the platform but didn't want anyone to label her a pervert because her face had suddenly turned bright red.

Olivia stayed rooted to the spot she was at till the crowd started to thin out. Then she slowly inched her way towards the opened doors, resisting the urge to lift up her gaze. As soon as she seen the hazard markings painted on the platform she instantly turned back into a fine lady, straightening her back, head held high and generating an aura made of pure pride. Even though internally all she could do was cry at her pitiful self so she needed to move as fast as she could away from the train. She quickly ran down the stairs of the terminal and made her way toward the gates of the school.

As she entered the Academy compound, quickly took out her phone and dialed her father as she did every morning since starting her job. With a bright greeting heard from the phone, Olivia felt a sense of relief that her routine was now back on track and she could once again be her normal self.

After she finished her phone conversation she realized that her friends Blair and Autumn were each beside her and had taken the opportunity to latch themselves on to an arm. "Well good morning you royal highness. All done talking to your beloved king for the day?" Olivia looked to her left and there hugging her arm was Blair, her bright satin gray eyes shinning with mischief as she spoke to her. "You know if I had a daddy as handsome as yours I think I would find any excuse to hog him to myself!"

On the right a small giggle was heard "Oh Blair control yourself. It's not very nice to have someone talk about their hot father so early on the morning."

Blair rolled her eyes at Autumn's semi-serious lecture "Autumn I'm pretty sure I've seen you drooling over him too!" Blair proclaimed as she quickly tossed her a handkerchief from her pocket. Once again all three girls walked through the main doors of the Academy laughing their heads off causing the snobbish students of the school to give them their deal dose of glares.

...

Olivia loved her two best friends and counted herself lucky that she was able to have them in her life for so long. She first met Blair when she was 3 years old at a charity event for kids with disabilities within the community. Her mother submitted two pieces of art, one she had done herself and another that she collaborated with little Olivia. Blair's mom, Cheryl-Lynn fell in love with the second piece for it's child like creativity and insisted to meet the artist. From then on the 4 of them were inseparable well until it turned to the 6 of them.

Autumn walked into their lives when both girls were 5 years old. The girls had just started junior kindergarten at Little Blossom Academy and right off the bat Blair was hostile to every person in the room that was not Olivia. Blair made kids cry with just a single glare and again with her rough speak and again for always insisting she should be first. She even made her teachers just by asking why they were still single, she basically made everyone cry in their class except for Olivia and a quiet girl named Autumn.

Autumn one day walked up to Blair who was glaring at a couple of kids that were playing with clay, the little girl did the unthinkable and hugged a very scary looking Blair. Everyone in the room was silent and Olivia decided she need to hug Blair too. What Autumn did next moved the girls hearts and refused to let this little girl be separated from them every again. Autumn lifted herself up onto her tip toes and started to pat her hair.

"Dare, dare Bwair is o-tay I show you how to pway wid cway. We can be fwiends too, eby buddy can be fwiends with Bwair." Blair couldn't hold her tears back any longer and wailed that day, not wanting to let go of Autumn, little angel that walked into their lives.
