132 Behind The Madness

"This way Madam." One of Agni's bodyguard's said as he and the others made a path for her to get to the car. "Grab that idiotic red head." Agni whispered into her bodyguard's ear. "Alright." He answered and repeated the order into his communication device on his lapel. As Agni tried to make her towards the car but the reporters still shouted their questions as she passed by. She tried her best to tune out the shouting but ignoring the verbal assualts was only a plaster over the real issue.

Once she sat in the car she started to breathe heavily. She looked around the back seats until she found a pen. She uncapped the pen and started to stab it into the seats, dragging it slowly downwards. The ripping sensation started to calm her nerves down. Suddenly the door opened and the red head was thrown in. "Penny tell me there is a way to fix this." She hissed as she pulled the pen out of the seat.

Penny gulped as she looked at Agni. She brought up her phone with a shaky hand. "I have already messaged the lawyers. They are working on it... they're in the same boat as you. If you are to loose your position of power they have no idea what will happen to them." Agni nodded her head and started to relax into her seat. "Good, I'll leave it in their capable hands. Joshua let's head for the office. Now tell me was there an update from Felix's end?" She asked as the driver started moving forward. "F-F-Felix?" Penny squeaked causing Agni to raise her eyebrows at her.

"Is there a problem?" Penny started to sweat bullets. "Penny?!" Agni said menacingly as she clutched the pen in her hand. "H-h-he has switched sides." Agni's eyes bulged when the words left Penny's mouth. "What do you mean he switched sides?!" Penny quickly passed her the phone that was in her hand. Agni looked at the screen and saw Felix's face frozen in place. She quickly pressed the play on the screen and a familiar voice started talking happily.

"My pretty Agni oops I shouldn't call you that anymore now should I? Well you see I am happy to say that I have decided to side with Mr. Delmira, you see I don't have to blackmail him to get what I want and not have to worry about being murdered later on to keep your secrets. So-o I made my choice and handed your dreamy brother over to them, bye I wish you the best... oh wait no I don't!" He said as he laughed and the video ended. "Did you forward this to Carl yet?" She said as she tossed the phone back at Penny. "I'll do it now." Agni nodded her head and started to stare out the window.

"He is with them and this will be their downfall. The moment Carl finds out where the call was made, send people over to dispose of them all, I can not let them win! If I fall I will take that sl*t's child with me and get rid of the abomination she's growing within her. Now that everyone knows my health and time in the asylum no one will believe I'm carrying a child.... also find out where my offsprings are. If I can't recovery my position I can use one of them as my piggy bank until this mess is settled. At least Avery adopting those things wasn't a waste of time." She said with a smug look on her face.

Agni walked into the office as if nothing had changed. The women at the reception desk still bowed as she walked by, other employees ran out of her pathway and no one dared to enter the same elevator she did. "Penny, schedule a meeting with those fat cats, I want them in the main board room in an hour. Also arrange a lavish dinner to be brought in and have my lawyers ready to be called in at any given moment." Penny was busying herself with sending out a mass email as Agni spoke. "It is done Madam."

After Agni stepped out of the elevator, she walked directly into her office. Slamming the door after she entered, leaving Penny as a guard. She walked up to her desk and gently glided her fingertips over the top until she reached her office phone. She saw that there were messages waiting for her to listen too. She punched in her code and walked over to her chair as the first message played.

"Ms. Coblepot it has come to the boards attention that you have no legal right in acting as its head. You bullied your way in saying that Avery left the company to you in his will but our legal team says thar Avery left it to his legal wife Agni Steel. As you know more then anyone else that you are actually legally known as Falicia Coblepot and never legally married Mr. Steel. We thank you for your services up to now but we no longer need you or your assistance, don't worry we will keep the company going until Olivia is of age to take over."

Agni grabbed the phone and yanked it out of the socket, with pure rage she flung the phone across the room. She started grabbing paperweights, pictures, drawers and even the chair, throwing each thing in every direction. She started to breathe heavily as her personal cell phone rang. She stomped over to her purse and started to pull everything thing out.

"What the f*ck do you want!" She yelled after she picked up the phone. "Agni you have ruined me! You ruined my reputation, you ruined my marriage and you have costed me my job!" Agni pulled the phone away from her ear and looked at the display screen. She could feel her rage surging up again as she placed the phone back against her ear. "Listen Wilhelm and listen well! F*ck you, f*ck your marriage and f*ck your reputation! If you did your job right none of this would be happening! NONE of this is my fault and you can only blame yourself for not being faithful to your wife or me!"

A low laugh could be heard from the other side of the line but Agni rolled her eyes as she started to pull the phone away. "Damn straight I wasn't faithful! I have a bit of news for you, Falicia remember that lovely little bracelet your step daughter gave my two detectives?" Agni froze as her blood ran cold throughout her body, she gulped but her mouth was so dry she thought she was going to start coughing. "See after the fire in our lab that your little lackey started some time ago, we found out that the bracelet was never destroyed.... but I didn't want you to 'panic' so I lied to you. Seems I made the right decision and now I can just sit back and watch the show."

A million things raced through Agni's head as she tried to comprehend what the ex-chief just told her. "Who has it?" She whispered into the phone but Wilhelm just started laughing even harder. "Who do you think has it? Because I sure as hell don't know... Well maybe I have a hunch but why should I tell you? My life is over and now I have nothing to lose. So goodbye Falicia, it was fun while it lasted." Agni tried to protest but all she heard was silence. She clutched her phone and was ready to smash it against the floor when it rang again

She quickly swiped the screen and put the phone against her ear. "Ms. Coblepot I think we found a loop hole! We know how to save you from this travesty!" Agni groaned and she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Fine whatever meet me at the main board room in half an hour." She hung up the phone and started to pace as she tapped the phone against her lips. Who could have taken the bracelet and know what it truly hidden? Who could figure out how to destroy her without batting an eye... who could have access... to the lab...

"F*CK! F*CK!F*CK! F*CK!" She quickly started dialing and she brought the phone to her ear. "Hello" A male voice said as if he was preoccupied. "Carl you piece of sh*t! You haven't called me yet about that pansy of a flower!" On the other end of the phone she could hear things falling over and some rustling, it was causing her blood pressure to rise and she was ready to fly out of the office to kill this man herself.

"Yes! Yes Master! I have found his location just 30 seconds ago." Agni felt her nerves starting to settle when she heard the news. "Carl, my sweet boy, did you by chance hack into that b*tch's computer?" Carl said nothing for a while and Agni could taste blood in her mouth. As she was about to call Carl's name out one more time he answered her. "No... but I hacked into her co-worker's cellphone. I could only get the audio to work and I heard something..."

Agni could feel herself get light headed. This wasn't good, not good at all. Carl didn't tell her right away, it could be more dangerous then she could have anticipated. "W-wha-what did you hear?" Carl started rustling some papers and she could hear his heavy breathing as he rustled some more. "Master, Felix has betrayed you... he has sided with Delmira and is giving the bracelet to the b*tch reporter." Agni's knees became weak and she dropped to the floor. She didn't know what to do. Keeping herself in power seemed to be child's play compared to what was coming. She wouldn't be able to save herself from jail, she needed to act fast. "Master, they don't have the bracelet yet! They are going to retrieve it now and I have already deployed the team to the location. If we play our cards right we might get it before they get there."

Agni felt hopeful for her situation and thanked Carl for his work. "If your team doesn't get the bracelet first, order them to kill, everyone and anyone who will be in the way! If that doesn't work destroy my trophy room! Nothing can be left to link me to anything that I have done!" Carl let out a sigh of relief. "Yes Master... but what of the girl?" Agni slowly started to pick herself off the ground and dusted of her dress. "What of her? Find out where she is and kill her! I need her out of the way if we need to bring up the will.... have you located my 'things' yet?" A ping came from her phone and Carl went to explain that he had sent her an email with their locations. "Carl don't touch my trophy room unless it's absolutely necessary."

"Understood Master." He said before Agni hung up the phone. She walked over to the door, patted down her hair down and opened the door. "Penny get someone to clean this mess up and also have someone come and help me freshen up for the board meeting." Penny pulled out her phone and made a sour face. "What's wrong now?" Agni snapped but Penny swallowed back the words she really wanted to say. "There has been a notice sent out, Ms. Agni you have been blacklisted. Security will be up soon to escort you out..."

"What about the board meeting?" She asked as she clutched her fists. "They will not come." Agni slammed her fist against the door, the force caused the glass paneling to shatter. "Have the lawyers send out an email to the board members, it seems that there is a lovely loophole that keeps me in power. So they Better think twice about blacklisting me!" She spat as she pushed Penny aside. "Madam where are you going?" Penny shouted as Agni walked away. "I need to deal with something. I will be back."

Agni rushed to the underground parking lot, her driver brought out the car and stopped in front of her. She opened the driver's door, grabbed his collar and pulled him out. "Madam?!" Joshua yelled as he was thrown to the ground. She shot him a dirty look and jumped behind the wheel. She slammed the door shut and floored the accelerator. She turned on the Bluetooth and immediately brought up the map. She then dialed Loreley. The ringing could be heard throughout the whole car as she waited for Loreley to pickup but it went to voicemail. "You sorry excuse for a human being! Pick up your damn phone or G*d help me I will kill your sister with my bare hands as you helpless sit there and watch!"

She hung up and dialed Laila, again no one picked up and it went to voicemail. "Garbage! You piece of sh*t! Your usefulness is the only thing keeping you alive. I'm heading to you first so you better be waiting for me outside or I swear I will have every member of that house murdered and bathe in their blood!" After she hung up she speed around the corner and raced down the street. As she approached the Dokmai residence she was absolutely surprised to see their estate heavily guarded with the swat team.

Agni broke out into a cold sweat and instantly turned around. She had a gut feeling that if she went to the Alteet estate she would run into the same situation. She pulled into a side street and turned off the car. She clutched the steering wheel and gritted her teeth. She grabbed her phone and dialed Carl. "Send me the bracelet's location, I'm getting it myself."
