2 First day of school. A new group?

"Hi, my name is Park Jimin and I come from Busan. I love to dance and having fun with my friends." He said, still with an eyeless smile.

Oh, so his name is Park Jimin. I also come from Busan. I love everything about Busan, but the seagulls were a little bit annoying sometimes. Pooping everywhere, noises all the time and steals food, my precious food.

"Hi, my name is Kim Taehyung. I am originally from Daegu, but I moved to Busan when I was a little boy, and now I am here. I love Gucci, singing and having fun with my friends." He says while looking at me.

I freeze at the eye contact. He still looks the same, nothing has changed, well except for the hair colour. Before it was black now it is silver/grey. He still has the same smile and the same look in his eyes, the look of mischievousness. It brings me back, how I wish I could just turn back time. Before everything was changed.

"Mr. Park, you can sit on row two seat 1, and Mr. Kim you can sit at row three seat 2. Now we can start the class."

Row three, seat 2? That's right beside me, I sit in row three seat 1. Just my luck, not that I ever had any luck at all.

They went to their seats and the class started. Yay math in the first class and first school day, and it will forever be math in the first class on Monday. I knew I had bad luck, but this. Well not like I can do anything about it.

Mr. Kim is talking about something related to math when I feel a stare from the side. I turn my head, and there was Taehyung looking at me. I turn my head away from him and look forward. What is Taehyung doing here? I thought he still was in Busan. I don't need the past to haunt me now. Not when everything is back to normal again.

Riiiing!

"Class you are dismissed, don't forget to deliver your club applications to me within this week. Remember that you can join at maximum 2 clubs. Have a nice day"

Yes, class is finally over. Math is sometimes boring, but it can also be fun. I hurry to the next class. I wonder why none of my friends goes to the same math class as me?

Well next class is advanced English I know that his English is nowhere near mine, so he should be taking either easy or regular English. I hope some of my friends have chosen the same classes as me. Even though we don't go in the same class and doesn't have the same common core subjects, I hope that some of them chose science. Nari should be in advanced English. Then I reach the classroom. I walk in and sees Nari.

"Omg, same English class again." She shouted at me. Then we both burst into laughter.

"Yes, bish. What club are you applying for this year?"

"Hm… I don't know." She said. "What are you applying for?"

"I am applying for science and music, I think. I am not a hundred-precent sure yet."

"Class would you sit down and keep quiet please?" A teacher says.

Me and Nari goes to the two vacant seats left. Unfortunately, it's on each side of the classroom.

"Hi, I am your teacher in Advanced English this year. My name is Mrs. Boo. We will start this year with a project between the advanced class and the regular class, in hope that both classes will learn something from each other. You will be paired with a student from the other class. The pairs are already chosen. First pair Miss Kim Nari and Mr. Park Jimin. Second Miss Oh Jenna and Miss Min Yoonji… the second last pair Miss Choi Jinhee and Kim Taehyung. Now the last…"

Why him? Why not Jimin or anyone else I didn't have a past with? I have had a peaceful life since I moved from Busan, then he moves here again. Hasn't he done enough? He had already broken every single promise we had together. They say old childhood friends is going to last forever, well in this case they are wrong.

"Hi, shall we get started?" he says as he sits down.

"We are going to read one of Rick Riordan's book and write a summary, make a presentation for the class. We are reading Percy Jackson and the last Olympian. Lucky for you I have read it before."

"Oh, so what is it about?"

"It's the last instalment of the first series. It's war. Percy Jackson and Charles Beckendorf goes on a quest to blow up Chronos' ship Andromeda. When they arrive at the ship everything goes perfectly until they get caught. They manage to blow the ship, but Charles goes missing. Percy wakes up with his half-brother Tyson. They are under the sea, since Percy's father is the god of the sea Poseidon. Hey, are you listening?"

"Yes, I am."

"So, what did Percy do?"

"Um… okay I didn't listen okay. You caught me."

Riing!

"You read the book to tomorrow then we will work on the project."

"Maybe we should exchange numbers? Since we need to keep the contact."

"Fine mine is (Random Numbers)"

"Mine is (Random Numbers)"

"Bye CJ, it is nice to see you again."

"Bye, see you tomorrow."

Wait, why tomorrow we still have Korean later together today. Well maybe both of us was too caught up in the moment to notice. Talking about classes I have biology next. Since I'm in the science line and he's in the music line we only have the common core subjects together. Nari should go science, but since she specializes in physics, IT and chemistry she will only have half time biology. While me who specializes in physics, chemistry and biology I will only have half time IT. And since she isn't in the same class as me, we will not have any common core subjects together except English. We don't have biology together either. I hope one of my other friends is in the same biology class as me.

"Bye CJ see you in the class after this"

"Bye Nari, yeah see you"

I started walking.

"Wait CJ, let's walk together to biology." My friend Min Yoonji shuts after me.

"Oh, Yoonji I didn't see you there."

"My partner is Oh Jenna, and you?"

"My partner is Kim Taehyung. Who do you think we will have in biology this year?"

"Yah, don't switch the theme, you are paired with Kim Taehyung? OMG are you alright?"

"Can we not talk about it?"

"Okay, so who do you think is our biology teacher this year?"

"I heard rumours that Mrs. Aspen have the class this year."

"You've got to be kidding me. Please say you are kidding."

"Chill, it's only a rumour, but I bet that Mr. Hwang is the teacher this year, again. Not that I don't like him, he's much better than Mrs. Aspen. But since I've started here, I've only had him in biology."

"What are you complaining about, he's the best biology teacher in this school and he's always letting us go if we arrive late, you should be happy."

Then we reached the classroom, and inside is Mr. Hwang waiting for us.

"Min Yoonji and Choi Jinhee, I have actually expected it, but you are late. I have spared to seats right by each other for you two. Please sit down, and I know this won't help, but please don't be late again."

"Yes Mr. Hwang" both me and Yoonji said.

When we sit down Mr. Hwang starts talking. He's welcoming us back for another year. He said that he fought to have us the last year too, since he has had us since the first year. Then he starts the class. We were talking about DNA. Chromosomes, genetic and mutations etc. suddenly a piece of paper hit me. I took it up and opened it.

"Hands of the new boys they are ours."

I didn't even need to look around before I knew who have sent them. Who else could it be than Ong Yoora and her groupies. They have hated my guts since I stepped a foot inside the school, saying something about me being a nuisance to them. Wait Yoora doesn't have biology. I turned my head and saw one of her groupies the one that have some IQ, but not enough to not hang around Yoora.

Riing

"Class you are dismissed, remember the homework. Choi Jinhee and Min Yoonji please stay behind."

"Ooh, someone is in trouble." The groupie whispered when she walked past me.

"Miss Choi and Miss Min, late again today?"

"Mr. Hwang you know that me and Yoonji is always late to class."

"I'm sorry Mr. Hwang I will try to come in time next time."

"Well Jinhee, just because I am your cousin doesn't mean that I always let you go when you come late."

"Sorry Minhyun-oppa, I will try to come in time for the next biology class."

"What about getting in time for your next class? I believe I am your chemistry teacher this year. Run get your books."

"What, Yoonji let's go or we will be late."

Yay another class with my older cousin, mark my sarcasm. It's not like he's a bad teacher, but if I do something wrong in class like saying the wrong answers, I will hear it every day since he lives right beside us. That means there is a lot of family meetings. A lot of family meetings means a lot of embarrassing stories. He even told mom that I once fell asleep in his class. Let us just say that I had no Netflix for a week.

"CJ stop daydreaming run to the class, Nari is already there."

"Coming!"

"Phew, just in time."

"Sit down class, I am your chemistry teacher this year Hwang Minhyun. Today we are going to talk about the redox reaction."

Mr. Hwang then started talking about the redox reaction. When I think about it, I always call him Mr. Hwang in the classroom, but when we are home it's Minhyungie or Minhyun-oppa. I don't know why though. It's just a habit, I think.

Suddenly I got a message

Nari: I heard both of you got late too class again.

Yoonji: Yeah, well since our teacher is Mr. Hwang, he let us go.

Nari: CJ using the family card again.

CJ: After this class, it will be lunch 😊

Yoonji: Can you think about something else than food?

Nari: We should put down our phones before we get caught.

"That was it for today class. Since it's the first day in school I will let you go a little bit early to lunch. Remember to eat healthy and varied. Class you are dismissed."

"We were so lucky that Mr. Hwang let us go early." Nari says.

"I wonder what they serve today." Yoonji says.

"I want bubble tea and spaghetti." I say.

"Did you hear, there was also a new guy in freshman year. I know everyone is new in freshman, but he came from Busan and didn't have anyone he knew from before. His name is Jungkook, but they say he's manlier than some of the other boys in senior year. And do I have to mention those two in your class? Okay, we will only talk about one of them. CJ you can stop glaring at me." Nari says.

"Wait, what? You had two new guys in class? I only heard about 'the one who must not be named'. What name does the other have? Jungkook you say, I think I have already met him today. He was shy though. He nearly ran away. I don't agree, I think he's cute. Especially with the bunny smile. I swear that half of the school will be sitting and watching the three boys in the cafeteria." Yoonji says.

"The 'one' is named Park Jimin, he has an eyeless smile. Now that I think about it did you know that one of Yoora's groupies threatened me? They threw a piece of paper on me and on that letter, it stands. 'hands of the new boys they are ours.' I wonder if they know that these boys are persons and have their own feelings. Ooh look its spaghetti today. Spaghetti and bubble tea for me please."

When we came to our usual table, we saw that it was taken, by none other than our new transfer students. We stood there and looked at each other, who was going to tell them that it was our table. I looked at Nari, Nari looked at Yoonji and Yoonji looked at me. At the end both me and Yoonji worked together and pushed Nari in front of us.

"Umm, excuse me, but this is our usual table. Could you please sit somewhere else, or maybe we could share?" She asked then she smirked at me.

"We can share, my name is Jimin if you didn't know. The one with the silver-grey hair is Taehyung, and last, but not the least we have Jungkook." Jimin said.

Then we sat down. I sat between the unknown (I think it's Jungkook) and Yoonji. Sitting right in front of me was Taehyung. I think my friends planned it. They are so dead when I get to them after school. The air was suddenly awkward. We sat there and eat I silence. I was avoiding the piercing stares from Taehyung.

"What clubs are you joining?" Yoonji says trying to get rid of the awkward silence.

"I'm joining the dance club and the music club." Jimin says.

"Me too Hyung, but I am joining the Film club instead of dance. I want to cover Big bang sunbae. We can make a duo." Jungkook says.

"Let's make a trio, I am going to choose the music and the fashion club." Taehyung finally says.

"I am joining the science and the book club. Someone else joining?" Yoonji says.

"I am joining the science club too, but I am joining the computer club instead." Nari says.

"I am joining the science club too, let us make explosions. I am joining the music club to though." I say.

"Then CJ we can make a 4-person mixed group. What should we be named? Maybe we can invite our friends too." Jimin says.

Then they just start talking about their hobbies. While I sat there sipping my bubble tea. I love bubble tea, I don't think anyone other than me can love bubble tea this much. It's fewer calories than frappe though, so we can say that I am eating healthy? Well back to the hobbies. Jungkook loves to work out and fears girls. Jimin loves to dance and is literally a big flirt. Taehyung loves collecting Gucci clothes and he cannot cook. While Nari loves to program and play computer games, she hates working out, but she loves to gossip about 'boys. While Yoonji loves reading and hates boys who are big flirts. This group is full of opposites. I am going to sit here with a cup of bubble tea and some popcorn and watch the show.

"CJ what's your hobby and interest?" Jimin says.

"I am interested in drinking bubble tea, making explosions in science classes and listen to music." I say.

"I don't understand how you are Mr. Hwang's favourite student." Jungkook says.

"He got no choice. They have grown up together she's his younger cousin." Nari explains.

"It's not like he got no choice, he has loved her as a sister since I don't know how long." Yoonji explains further.

"Hello there, am I dead? Because I think I am seeing an angel in front of me." Jimin says to Yoonji.

"Why are people so random nowadays. No, you aren't dead, but that can be arranged if you continue flirting with me." Yoonji threatens while smiling. I swear she can be scary sometimes.

"Sorry. I'm sorry I didn't mean it." Jimin apologizes, with a smirk.

Awkward silence again. Everyone went back to eating. While half off the school looked at this table. The stare from Taehyung seems never-ending, just like the stares we got from the school. Just imagine all the rumours that we will face. We haven't gotten through the first school day yet. Well let's just forget about a peaceful year, for sure Yoora and her groupies is going to murder me tomorrow.

Riing

When we arrived at the classroom the teacher sent us to our seats. Taehyung just continued to stare at me. My life hates me, we got Mrs. Aspen in Korean and we have double class Korean today. I swear she hates us just as much as Yoora and her groupies. That's not strange since her favourite student is Yoora. Another year with Mrs. Aspen means another year with hell.

"It might seem like I am your Korean teacher, but since your original teacher is sick today, I was asked to have the double class in Korean today." Mrs. Aspen says.

Yes, only for today. I love my life for now. Goodbye my worries. I just need to survive the double class that's all. Okay CJ you can do it, you don't need any detention in the first day of school. CJ hwaiting. For the rest of class, she looked at me a lot. Fortunately, I didn't get detention, but another person did though. My mother told me that if I get detention again, I would have no Wi-Fi for a week. No Wi-Fi for a week, is like no life for a week. The Gods must have heard my prayer. For the rest of the day nothing interesting happened.

Riing

Yes, done with the first school day.

"Wait CJ, do you want to go to Hall of Bubbles to celebrate surviving the first day of school?" Nari asks.

"Why not? I haven't been there for a long time. I miss their bubble tea." I answer.

"So, did Yoora contact you again?" Yoonji asks.

"No, but I think that at the latest she will contact me or any of you tomorrow morning." I say, while wondering why Yoora haven't contacted us yet.

"I hope she never takes contact with us." Nari says.

"That's what we all have hoped for from the start of freshmen year." I say.

"Shall we go?" Yoonji asks.

"Let's go!" Nari shouts in happiness.
