Arjun's Pov:-
I had been working out in the gym for an hour now. I am sweating profusely and I need to take a shower immediately.
I took a shower and had my breakfast. As I was going to my room, I saw dad going outside. He is dressed in his casual wear. But where is he going? Ever since mom left, I and dad became distant. So, I can't ask him where he was going. But my conscious says to follow him as he looked tired. Honestly, I and my dad doesn't talk to each other that much but that doesn't mean I don't care for him.
So, I follow him. I saw him going towards a park. I slowly walk towards it being unnoticed. The park is filled with children. I guess they are from an orphanage.
I saw dad sitting on a table. I go there and see that there's a tree in between two benches facing opposite sides and in which one is occupied by dad. I sat on the other table. I guess he is really disturbed with Kriti's news . sigh, if there could be anything I could do to comfort him, I would definitely do it, of course keeping my ego to talk first, aside.
"Hello uncle, I saw you sitting here all alone so I thought I could give you company. " I heard an angelic voice. Who is it..?"H..hi..child, ya I would love that ." dad said. I sat there calmly listening to their conversation. "I am with the children and my mam told me to take a break, after all these angels are tough to handle. "She said in a cute tone. " So uncle, I had been looking at you since you came here, and you look sad and worried. If there could be anything I could do to bring a smile on your handsome face, I am honoured. " She said. "Ah...am...It's nothing,....."dad said. Dad doesn't share his worries with anyone. "Please don't think of me as a stranger uncle, My mamma says that people need company to share their worries and that you would feel really relieved once you let it go. " She said. " You are really a nice child. Ya, I am a bit stressed, and it's about my grandchild. She's not well and she's getting operated tomorrow. "Oh...well..that's a really big issue .....but still did the doctor's assure you that everything would be fine with her ?"She asked. "Ya, but still, I lost my wife 10 years ago and now my grandchild is not well. I can't even imagine a day without her cute talks. " dad said. What the... He's opening up with her and no matter how much Ari maa and K tried, he just said he didn't want to talk about that issue. "Uncle, if you think life has been unfair to you once by taking aunty away from you, then I assure you that it won't be unfair for you again. I am someone who has everything but to the world, it seems like I don't have anything. But the secret of my life is that I have everything that I always dreamt off. " Se said. "Well, that was really comforting to share my feelings. You are really young to talk about life but whatever you said, I have a feeling that it's true and I guess life won't be unfair with me once again." dad said . I saw him getting up . Hmmm...so it's time to see who this girl is ... that made my dad open up . They got up and suddenly , she tuned towards my side . 'Beautiful' is the only thing that came to my mind . She looked about Preeti's age . God!!those innocent eyes , pink lips, sweet voice,long hair ...everything in her seems beautiful. The way she talked to my dad was so comforting . "So uncle , it's time for me to leave , and I would love if you could donate something for our orphanage . "She said with a box in her hand . "I would love that , and the way you helped me with your sweet talks ,I could never pay you back for that. And do you work by helping those children baby girl. What about your parent's? I must say ,they might be really proud of you."Dad said. But I saw hurt in her eyes . God!what am I feeling ? why is my heart paining to see her like that . "NO uncle , I am one of them . " Dad looked shocked . "I..I am sorry baby girl ..I can call you that right . "Dad asked . "Of Course my family calls me that ." "Family..?"dad asked confused . "Well, I told that, to the world it seems like I don't have anything but I have everything that I could ever dream of...remember. "When dad was about to ask something , someone called her ."Anu...baby come it's past lunch time ,aren't you hungry my child ." Some lady in her late 40's called her . "Ok uncle, now it's time for me to leave my care taker is calling me ...bye... oops, I forgot to tell my name, It's R..aa...Anu...bye."And she ran away.
Anu, nice name. She looks sweet and innocent. Hmm..... I then saw dad going out of the park with a smile on his face. I guess, she stole his heart. But who might this girl be? I heard dad asking that if he had seen her somewhere as she looked familiar. According to me, he didn't come to India for a long time I guess. Let's see...

Anu's Pov:-
I left the park after talking to that handsome uncle. I heard papa talking about him. He told me that he's a nice man. I guess I have to tell him that, I had talked to him today. Now you guy's might be thinking who this papa is? Time will reveal all the dark secrets of my life.
I am in the orphanage right now and tomorrow morning, I would leave to Ayesha mam's house. I have to be with her when Kriti is getting operated. As I was thinking about my plans for tomorrow, Shanti mam came towards me ."Anu, baby your uncle has come and he wants to see you."She said. I nod. As I was going down the staircase I saw that Verma uncle was talking with someone. His back was facing me.He was wearing a black suit. He looked 26 or 27 I guess. "Hey Anu, how are you? I haven't seen you since long ." "Yes uncle, I was busy with college. " I turn to see the person who was talking to Verma uncle before. Well, He is handsome. By looking at his expression, he looked surprised. But why ?"Well Anu, let me introduce you to my nephew. He is ......."

This isn't going the way I wanted it to go.....they are here. And I got to know that she will also join them in a few days.....all these years of planning, I won't let them go in vain....I will protect my baby girl. She has suffered a lot and I am afraid things would go out of control, if I didn't take care of them....
