Case 1: The Death Of The Mafia Boss and The Birth Of The Time Hijacker

-Have you ever thought about what will happen if a villain in a historical event suddenly disappears and how it will impact the timeline? What if the American Revolution never happened? What if Abraham Lincoln wasn't assassinated? What if the Civil War never happened? This is a story about the revenge of a mafia boss of an infamous crime syndicate from the year 3021, who is being reborn into the body of a recently deceased FBI agent, after he was shot in the head by his best friend and also his right-hand man.-

"At last we've finally achieve our dream of taking over all the criminal underworld around the world", I laughed. "We finally did it S!"

"Yeah...", S smirked, "I finally did it."

"Huh? What are you about?", I said as I turn back to look at him.

*Bang!*

"I'm sorry old friend, but I've always plan to dominate not only the criminal underworld, but also the timeline itself, and there's could only be one king in this world!", He laughed as tears falls from his eyes. "Therefore your sacrifice is need for the greater goods. Farewell, my friend."

Why did you betray me!? I will kill you if I get another chance.

*Gasp*

Huh? I am still alive? Why am I in a coffin? Well, this just mean that God just gave me a chance to take my revenge, but first...let's get out of here first.

I kick the coffin opened and jump out...hold on why am I at this FBI agent's funeral?

"Ahhhhhh! R just got back to live!", The woman screamed.

"Now, hold on lady. My name is Ted not R.", I corrected.

"R is still alive! R is still alive everyone!", Another agent yelled in excitement.

Everyone suddenly gathered around me, punch me in the arm, gave me a bear hug, and cry all over my face. Just what is going here!

"I can answer that."

Wait, who are you and why am I the only one who can hear your voice?

"My name is R and I'm a 23 years old FBI agent. Just yesterday, I was shot to death by my best friend, but it's looks like our souls had intercept with each other when they left our bodies when we died. If I'm not mistaken, you were also shot by your best friend. Am I right, mister Theodore Sun aka 'The Demon God'?"

How did you know who I am?

"Theodore Sun, an orphan who started a crime syndicate called 'The Night Hijackers' with his best friend, Esu, 5 years ago. Together they took over other syndicates one after another, and recruit talented young criminals into their family as they go, until everything among the criminal underworld around the world are under their control. Unfortunately, you were betrayed by your best friend."

"Buried under the cherry blossom tree in the backyard of my house, is a box that contain digital watch that can act as a mobile time machine. This was created by me to make gathering evidence easier, but before I could even put it to use, my best friend asked me to meet alone in the forest where we used to play together as a child. Knowing that he will kill me sooner or later and nothing I say will make him change, I buried this watch under the tree and head to the forest and you know the rest."

Wow...that's dark. I'm so sorry and I promise that I will bring him to justice!

"Good, we will meet again when the time comes. Thanks mister Demon God. One more thing. This watch is still in development so it will take 72 hours to recharge after each time leap."

Across the room, I saw a young man glaring at me with an annoyed face. This must be the killer of R. Looks like he isn't thrilled to see me.

"Hey S! Your best friend just got back to life, come here and give him a hug! You were crying like a baby when you heard about his death!", An agent laughed.

S? His name has the same pronunciation as Esu. Could this be a coincidence?

He faked a smile and gave me a hug

"This isn't over.", S whispered into my ears.

"Right back at you.", I replied.

*Stomach growling*

"Hahahaha! Looks like our little R is hungry.", The big man yelled. "Come, let's me bring you to my family's restaurant. Dinner on me tonight!"

"Yeah!", everyone yelled. "Let's get wasted in celebration of R's rebirth!"

six hours later...

*Vomits*

Oh god, is this kid's alcohol tolerance this low? I better get back to his house.

*Vomits*

"I'm finally h..here. Need to go find the watch."

Following his direction, I got a shovel and dig up the blossom tree and found a black box.

I pick up the box and open it. Inside was a digital chronograph watch with diamond straps and gold plated. There were four crowns that you can use to set the time, month, date, and year that you want to travel to. This should be easy to use, but the design of this watch reminds me of the one that the orphanage gave my little brother on his 14th birthday, a day before he was adopted by a middle-income family and got separated from me. I have no time to think about this now.

Let's see..I will set it to November 2, 3021 at 6 pm, which is 1 hours before R murder.
