Chapter 16

Vince and Akari looked at Ryu and Ayane in disbelief as they saw them running from a helicopter that was currently shooting bullets at them. "How the hell did they get detected by a helicopter? Aren't they ninjas? ...Well, I guess we should give them a hand."

She looked at Vince and gave him a pleading look. "Can we wait just a little longer? I want to see them dodging bullets some more."

Vince sweatdropped at her request but shrugged, knowing that Akari obviously has resentment towards the two. "All right, let's just try to sneak into the facility first."

Just as he said that Ryu leaped into the air and launched a blue energy projectile from his palms that destroyed the helicopter. Ayane then quickly dashed away, the two immediately jumped from railing to railing quickly and evaded gun fire from another helicopter.

Vince however sighed and quickly snuck in with Akari, whom the latter was smiling at watching Ryu and Ayane run away from the gun fire. "We should be there soon Akari."

"Right."

A young woman that looked exactly like Akari, leaped out of a helicopter that just exploded. She landed on the ground wearing a black leather ninja outfit with long black fingerless gloves, black arm-guards and shin-guards, throwing knives tucked in pockets on her waist, blue choker necklace, and her wakizashi sword with decorative red tassels tied to her back. With her hair tied in a ponytail is a blue ribbon instead of the traditional yellow one.

Vince's eyes widened greatly as he saw the young woman runaway. "That's Kasumi!"

"I see, so that's Kasumi..." Akari commented, before she shook her head.

Vince also shook his head, "We should go quickly. Also, you'll need to cover your face with the black hood. It'll make things easier to explain to Kasumi."

"All right Vince."

(M.I.S.T. Laboratory)

Vince and Akari ran through a hall as they saw Kasumi stop and Christie in front of her. "Stop right there."

"I can't let you go any further." She spoke as she folded her arms.

"Then I'll just fight my way through." Kasumi said getting into her fighting stance.

"Well, have fun with that you two, don't mind us." Vince called out as he walked side by side with Akari, who had her black hood down, completely covering her face.

Kasumi's eyes widened greatly, recongnizing the voice. She turned around to see Vince with a young woman, who's face was covered by a black hood. "Vince, why are you here?!"

"I'll explain later."

"Oh, so you're still alive. I thought you died in that explosion." Christie commented, surprising Kasumi.

"Well what can I say? I die hard." He replied with a shrug.

"Vince, do you want me to take care of her?" Akari asked, getting Kasumi and Christie's attention.

"Nope, it'll be waste of energy." Vince stated, smirking at Christie's reaction.

Said person glared at Vince. "As I said earlier, I can't let anyone go further."

"Too bad, for you then." Vince started, before he looked at Akari. "Hold on for a moment."

"What-?" Before Akari could continue Vince immediately grabbed her around the waist and jump at the edge of the platform. He then turned to Kasumi. "See you later."

Her eyes widened greatly as she understood what he was going to do. "Vince wait, don't-!" Kasumi shouted before Vince jumped off of the platform with Akari.

"Well, he's more bold than I gave him credit for." Christie commented.

Vince and Akari quickly fell to the floor at an incredibly fast speed. Thinking quickly, he used his electricity to slowly glide downward towards the floor.

She looked at Vince like he was crazy. "Don't ever do that again Vince! My heart's pounding really fast..."

"Eh, don't worry about it. Besides, we're getting down faster than that platform." He replied nonchantly.

"You know Kasumi is going to scold you for that later." She commented.

"I'll ignore it." Vince responded, causing Akari to shake her head.

The two quickly decended to the floor and Vince let go off Akari, causing her to pout for a moment.

Just as the two were about to continue walking the platform finished decending with Kasumi, quickly going towards Vince. "What's wrong with you Vince?! You could have killed yourself and your friend at that height!"

Vince looked around for a moment, before pointed ahead. "Hey look, I think Hayate is up there."

Kasumi's eyes widened before she quickly ran with Vince and Akari running behind her. (Well, what do you know. It actually worked.)

The trio quickly ran into a large room, Kasumi quickly turned to the left as she and the other two saw Hayate unconsious, being held in mid-air by multiple beams of light that were sticking out his body. "Hayate?! Hayate!"

She quickly ran towards the window and tried to move the window.

The two eyes widened greatly as Vince spoke up. "What the fuck happened to him?!"

Akari resisted the urge to quickly run towards the window and join Kasumi as she spoke. "I don't know, but we should get him out of there as soon as possible."

"Yeah."

"Ah, the star of the show arrived. Along with some unexpected guests, the kid with the weird lighting and water powers and the failed clone." A voice called out.

Kasumi's eyes narrowed at that last part as she glanced at Akari, before turning around along with Vince and Akari to see a young man wearing a dark grey sleeveless jacket with a hood without the main front of the jacket. With grey jeans with a brown belt with two brown bags on the side. And then black and brown shoes.

Vince however just raised an eyebrow. "So I guess you're the one that did this to Hayate. So who are you?"

"You got that right kid, name's Rig. We've been keeping an eye on you ever since Christie told us what you did. It was a bit unnatural to see a kid your age with powers, so we watching your every move. Gotta say though, you do a lot interesting things on your spare time. You'll be a good addition to Project Epsilion and Phase-4, you'll be joining that Mugen-Tenshin ninja soon." Rig answered.

Vince quickly took a step back as he saw Kasumi and Akari radiating a dark aura. "...Yeah, I don't think that'll happen anytime soon."

"Vince, stay back. I'll handle this." Kasumi said going into a stance.

"Not alone you're not." Akari commented as she also went into the same stance as her.

"But what about your energy?" He asked in a slightly concerned tone.

"Don't worry, I won't waste much of it on him." She replied.

Vince looked back and forth between Akari and Kasumi, then sighed, knowing that the two couldn't be talked out of this. "All right, fine. Just be careful you two."

"Okay Vince." The two answered at the same time. They then glanced at each other mildly annoyed.

Rig however laughed, "Hahaha, this is rich."

Kasumi and Akari said nothing but immediately charged at Rig, with an intense fury that surprised Vince.

Rig tried to block both Kasumi and Akari's combined assault as he tried to punch Kasumi, she immediately grabbed him and flipped Rig into the floor. Akari took the opportunity and jumped on top of his stomach.

"Arrgh!" Rig quickly rolled out of the way as Kasumi tried to do the same thing. He got up and kicked Akari. She grunted in pain, but grabbed his foot and flipped him over, sending him into the floor, which Kasumi took advantage of and jumped on top of his stomach brutally.

Rig let out a sharp gasp of pain as he quickly got up and countered with a punch to Kasumi's stomach. She staggered back a bit, as Akari appeared behind him and kicked him in the back, sending him into Kasumi.

She took advantage of that and kicked him in the stomach with enough force to send Rig back to Akari.

Akari quickly punched Rig twice, kicked him in the face and palmed his back. He staggered a bit, but quickly countered by punching Akari twice the stomach, and finished with a kick to her stomach.

Akari grunted in pain as she fell to the floor. Kasumi quickly went to Rig, she punched him in the chest and the face three times, and finished with a sweep kick that sent him into the floor.

Rig grunted in pain and got up, he punched Kasumi in the stomach, to which she blocked. He then sidestepped to the left and delievered a brutal kick to her rib cage, sending her into the floor.

Both Kasumi and Akari got up, they looked at each other and nodded. They quickly charged at Rig, who got into a defensive stance. Akari punched Rig to which he blocked and grabbed her arm, she then followed up with an unexpected kick to his face, forcing him to let go of his grip. Kasumi quickly grabbed Rig and went undeneath him she kicked him in the stomach multiple times, sending him into the air. Akari saw this and jumped into the air with a boost from Kasumi, she then kicked Rig directly in the face, sending him towards the end of the platform.

"Damn, that looked painful. Anyway, I better get sleeping beauty out of this window and wake him up." He commented shaking his head.

[Are you going to kiss him awake?] Yume teased in a rare moment for her.

"No, I but I believe a kick to his nuts should be good enough. Well, either that or tell him I took Kasumi's virginity by having unprotected sex with her." Vince answered with a smirk.

Kasumi heard the comment and immediately blushed like a tomato, before shaking her head and kicking Rig towards Akari, who quickly followed up with an elbow to the face.

Rig breathed heavily as he went towards the back of the platform and fell off, but not before getting punched off the platform by a water fist, from Vince. "Gaaahhh!"

"That felt good." Vince said cracking his knuckles.

Kasumi quickly ran towards the window and pounded on it. "Hayate! Hayate, wake up!"

The door opened to as a brown haired woman with brown eyes and dark skin walk in wearing a blue blouse, black skirt, brown stockings, black shoes, white lab coat and reading glasses. "Project Epsilon... They're reactivating it... Who's doing this?!"

Kasumi turned around and looked at the woman she then walked towards her. "It's you...? But... Why would you do this?"

"Hold on Kasumi." Vince said gaining their attention. "Did you see her reaction? She's obviously surprised. I don't think she knew about this."

"You're boyfriend is right, I didn't know about this." The woman said, causing Kasumi to blush as she continued. "This is a relic from Project Episilon. In fact, I think I can get him out of there..."

"Wouldn't it be better if I destroyed the window, miss...?" He said trailing off.

"Lisa Hamilton." She shook her head, "It's too risky, you might hurt him the process."

"Fine. Anyway, I'm Vince Reinhart." Vince replied introducing himself.

Lisa nodded and quickly ran into a small room as Ryu and Ayane came in.

Ayane's eyes widened at seeing Vince. "What are you doing here?"

"I was in the neighborhood and thought it would be a great opportunity to vandalize a secret laboratory." He answered sarcastically.

Ayane's eye twitched before she turned around and her eyes widened, seeing Hayate in his condition. "Master Hayate!"

Ryu looked around the lab as Vince turned to him. "Hey Ryu, mind if I ask you for a favor?"

"What is it?" He asked looking at him.

Before Vince could speak, Lisa spoke up. "Listen to me. Hayate has been put to sleep... at a basic, celluar level. But he's okay."

"Wait. Does that mean Hayate is in some kind of forced coma?" Vince asked raising an eyebrow, causing Kasumi and Ayane to look at Hayate shocked.

"In a manner of speaking yes, but everything's fine. I've entered the override code. It might take a while, but he'll wake up soon." Lisa explained.

The room suddenly shook as every looked to see some kind of doors moving around with numbers on it. "What the-?"

"This isn't good." Akari commented with a frown.

"Alphas... So many of them?!" Kasumi asked in a shocked tone.

"Well, Donovan is trying to make a mass production of Alphas." Vince answered nonchalantly.

"It's Phase-4! What Donovan was planning? Please, you must stop it!" Lisa informed them.

A light green, light formed in the middle of the room. It formed into a clone of Kasumi who's body glowed a green color.

Vince looked at Akari with a nod. "I think now would be a good time Akari."

"A good time for what?" Ayane asked with a small frown.

Akari removed her black hood, surprising Kasumi and Ayane, while Ryu just raised an eyebrow. "To put it simply, she needs to merge with Alpha. Donovan messed her up and splitted her in half. Alpha is the missing half. If she doesn't merge with Alpha soon, her body will become unstable and she will die."

Ayane frowned at the explanation as Kasumi looked sad and Ryu nodded. Akari just sighed, Vince however looked at Alpha. "Why is she looking at me?"

Alpha teleported towards Vince, grabbed him and teleported a feet away from them. She then placed his head in between her breasts. She grabbed his hands and placed it on her waist.

Ayane looked at the scene, annoyed and confused. "Just what the hell is going on?!"

Kasumi and Akari looked at her with with menacing aura, clearly pissed off at what is happening.

Vince tried to get away but Alpha's grip was strong and he started gasp for air. "Hey guys a little help here, can't breathe much!"

"Hold on, I'm coming!" Ryu ran towards the two, punched Alpha twice in the face and kicked her away.

Vince placed his hand towards his chest as he gasped for air. "Thanks Ryu."

"You're welcome."

Alpha got up and hissed at Ryu, he then looked at Vince. "Get back."

Vince nodded and quickly went near Kasumi, Akari and Ayane. "That was unexpected. Lisa, just what the hell was that all about?"

"Alpha-152 is controlled heavily by her emotions. My only guess is that since Kasumi has affections for you, it amplified her emotions greatly and it caused her to act like that towards you." Lisa explained, causing Kasumi to blush at the reasoning.

"Huh, can't say I'm not disappointed." Vince turned to Kasumi and Akari. "Since I felt her breasts up close like that, does that mean that both of your breasts are that soft?"

Ayane shot Vince an annoyed look as both Kasumi and Akari looked at him in disbelief, while her blush deepened from the earlier explanation, Kasumi spoke up. "Do you really have to ask that type of question, Vince?"

"Yes."

Vince crossed his arms. "Lisa, is it alright if I wake up Hayate now?"

"Yes, I've just finished overwriting the code." Lisa answered.

Vince nodded as a smirk came to his face. "Oh this is perfect."

"Vince what are you going to do?" Kasumi asked worriedly.

"Wake him up effectively." He replied, still smirking.

"Well, this should be good." Akari commented.

Vince punched through the window where Hayate was held at a with water enhanced punch. Surprising the others as he continued. "Hey Hayate, I had unprotected sex with Kasumi. She's a real natural."

Hayate's eyes shot open as he quickly got out of the window. "You what!?"

"Oh hey Hayate. Did you have a good nap?" He asked nonchantly, ignoring the glare he was given.

Ayane facepalmed while Akari held back a smirk and Kasumi looked away from Vince with a tomato-red blush on her face.

Hayate continued to glare at Vince, while breathing heavily. Ryu turned around, having finished his battle with Alpha. As Lisa spoke up. "Hayate's awake now. He should be okay, if Vince doesn't upset him again."

"Oops."

"Good. You're back with us." Ryu commented as he walked towards Hayate.

Ryu held out his hand as Hayate was about to take it. Before a bright green light enveloped the room. Ryu tried to quickly run towards the green light but was stopped by Hayate who grabbed his arm. After a moment Ryu nodded as Hayate charged in with Ayane quickly following Kasumi was about to follow but was stopped as Ayane threw a kunai infront of Kasumi stopping her, the two looked at each other for a moment before nodded.

Vince quickly shot out a small lightning bolt at Ayane. "Don't worry, I just stimulated the cells in your body to quickly give you an adrenaline rush."

Ayane nodded in thanks and quickly ran in the green light.

Kasumi smiled, "You've gotten a lot better in your powers Vince."

"Thanks."

"That power... Is it a Sacred Gear?" Ryu asked looking at him.

"How did you-" Vince started off before he shook his head. "Oh right, you're a ninja. Yeah, it's a Sacred Gear."

"I see..."

"Sacred Gear?" Kasumi asked confused.

"I'll explain later." Vince took out his gray cellphone and pressed the button on it. His eyes turned silver as a result, surprising Kasumi and Akari. Ryu however raised an eyebrow. "You have two of them?"

"Yeah."

"Vince, your eyes changed color." Akari commented.

"I know, I'll explain that later." Vince surronded Ryu in a translucent dome made up of white water. "Just stay there and don't move. It'll make it easier for me to heal you."

Kasumi and Akari looked on in fascination as Ryu nodded, seeing his injuries slowly go away.

A few minutes later the dome disappeared as Ryu clenched his hands and nodded. "Thank you Vince."

"You're welcome."

Vince looked ahead with the others to see Hayate and Ayane breathing heavily from exhaustion from their fight. Alpha got up from the floor to Vince's surprise, she changed into Ryu and fired a blue energy projectile from her palms at them. Ryu quickly followed in suite and repeated her action.

Hayate and Ayane jumped out of the way, narrowly avoiding the attack as Vince quickly created two giant white water hands that grabbed Hayate and Ayane. He quickly placed them behind him and created a large triangular shield. "Stay behind me."

The energy projectiles collided with each other causing a massive explosion that destroyed most of the room in the lab. Vince grunted as he was pushed back from the force of the explosion. "Go!"

The large triangular shield grew in size as it now blocked rest of the explosion in front of them. The force of the explosion was blocked as a result. Ayane's eyes widened as Hayate let out a small smile and spoke. "You've grown stronger Vince."

The large triangular shield dispersed as Vince turned around and nodded. He created a dome of white around Hayate and Ayane. "Thanks, either way you two should take it easy for now. You two are exhausted."

"Hey, what happened? Your eye color changed." Ayane asked folding her arms.

Hayate looked at Vince's eyes before his eyes widened, realizing it. "Vince, what happened?"

"I'll explain later. Anyway, it's temporary so I wouldn't worry about it. Just stay still, it'll make healing that much easier." He answered as he saw the injuries on Hayate and Ayane slowly disappeared.

(It's a good thing Yume taught me sometime ago about this method of healing. It's not as effective as healing a wound directly but I don't have to concentrate as much and it works on more than one target.) Vince thought as he concentrated on the dome, with a serious look on his face.

"Vince behind you!" Hayate shouted.

Vince turned around to see a large piece of metal fall on top of him. He quickly unsheated his katana and jumped towards it. Vince held his katana in a reverse grip and slashed through the metal with a vertical slash. "That was nothing."

The piece of metal split in half as it fell down towards the floor making a loud crash. He swung his katana in a 180 degree angle before sheathing it. Vince turned back to Hayate and Ayane, with the dome still intact. He noticed Hayate's surprised look and shrugged. "A lot can happen in ten years Hayate."

Both Kasumi and Akari appeared in a small whirlwind of cherry blossom petals in the middle of the platform that was blocked by the debris that was caused by the explosion.

Alpha looked at the two, she transformed back into her original form and went into a fighting stance.

Akari looked at Kasumi, "Go to Vince. I will end this now and merge with Alpha."

Kasumi looked hesitant before she nodded, knowing that this was her fight. "Be careful."

"I will." Akari replied going into her fighting stance.

Kasumi disappeared in a whirl of cherry blossom petals as Akari looked at Alpha. "We will become one!"

Alpha hissed and charged at Akari, she quickly punched her multiple times in the face before doing a leg sweep. Akari grunted in pain from the punches but jumped over the leg sweep and landed directly on Alpha's neck. She then harshly flipped her into the floor and got off of her.

Before she could recover Akari jumped on top of her stomach, causing her to let out a hiss of pain. Alpha got up and countered with a vicious kick to the face. Akari stumbled back holding her nose in pain, which Alpha took advantage of she quickly punched Akari multiple times in the face, chest and stomach and finishing with a brutal 180 degree spin kick to the chest that sent her a few feet across from the platform.

Akari coughed up some blood and got up panting a little. Her eyes widened as she saw her arm translucent for a moment before it turned solid. "I don't have much time left."

Alpha gave her a smug look before charging in again. She quickly punched her in the face, Akari saw this coming and grabbed her arm. She then flipped her body over and slammed her into the ground. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Akari jumped on top of Alpha's stomach before she had a chance to recover.

Alpha grunted in pain before teleporting away, she appeared behind Akari and jumped on her neck. She slammed her into the ground with her head in a leg lock, she repeatedly punched her directly into her skull before delievering one final punch and teleporting a few feet from her.

Akari got up and rubbed her head in pain as she saw her legs and chest turn transparent for a moment before turning back to normal. She shook her head and quickly jumped out of the way as Alpha tried to jump on her neck again. Akari took advantage and went underneath Alpha, she repeatedly kick her in the stomach multiple times, before delievering on final kick that sent her a few feet into the air. Akari quickly jumped on one of the fallen debree and jumped on top of Alpha, her feet repeatedly stomped on her stomach as she fell harshly into the floor with her head, banging against the floor.

Akari breathed heavily as she saw Alpha got up. "Are you calmer now?"

Alpha said nothing but nodded, she smiled and held out her hand. "Let become one. We'll be accomplish more things together as one. Plus, we'll be able to be together with Vince without the worry of us dieing."

She waited for her answer, Alpha stood there for a moment before nodding and extending her hand.

"Thank you." The grabbed each other's hand as a bright light enveloped the room.

Vince looked at the bright light with a small smile. "Looks like she did."

"Indeed." Ryu spoke before continuing. "Are you sure that she will not go berserk?"

"Positive."

"How can you be so sure of that?" Ayane asked an eyebrow.

"I trust her." He said simply.

Kasumi smiled as Hayate chuckled a little. "You've matured Vince."

"Hn." Vince pressed the button his gray cellphone as his eyes turned back to normal. He unsheated his katana and walked towards the debris that's currently blocking him.

"Where are you going Vince?" Kasumi questioned.

"I'm going over to where Lisa used to be. She left during the explosion, I want to see if I get anything good. Besides, I want to experiment on something." Vince held his katana downwards to his left side as he closed his eyes and started channeling lightning into it.

The blade suddenly glowed bright blue as it radiated holy energy and lightning, with it occasionally releasing a small spark of electricity. Vince opened his eyes and smirked a little. (There we go, I got it now. It took a little bit to focus on channeling the lightning properly but it worked, I guess all of those meditation habits I picked up paid off. But I'll have to work on it more so I can channel it faster.)

With the expection of Ryu who narrowed his eyes, everyone's eyes widened at this. Kasumi then spoke up. "Vince, what type of katana is that?"

"A special one." Vince pointed his katana at the debris, to his surprise he was pushed back a few inches as an enormous bolt of lightning shot out of the katana and obliterated the debris.

He looked at his katana as his smirk widened. "This is pretty nice. I should use this more often."

Vince ran towards the room Lisa was in completly hacking and slashing through any piece of debris that remained or fell from above.

"And this is the guy you have a crush on?" Ayane commented, looking at Kasumi with a look of disbelief.

"W-Well... Vince has always been a bit rebellious and he isn't afraid to speak his mind, but he's kind." Kasumi replied with a blush.

Vince slashed open through the window and jumped in through the now broken window. He examined the computer and sighed. (So far there's nothing, that's noticeable... I guess Lisa made sure there was nothing left.)

He looked around the room and his eyes narrowed, seeing a small camera on the wall moving slowly. "He really should mind his own business."

Vince impaled the screen of the camera with his katana. He grabbed the small camera and placed it in his pocket. (I'm sure Helena would be interested in this.)

Before he could leave his eyes wandered around and noticed a small computer chip underneath the computer itself. (I can see why I missed something like that, it's small. I should take it with me anyways.)

Vince picked up the computer chip and pocketed it before leaving the room by jumping through the broken window, but not before sheathing his katana.

He walked towards the others and turned around to see Akari walking towards him slowly. "Hey Akari."

"Vince..."

With the exception of Vince, everyone immediately went into a fighting stance. He rolled his eyes and walked towards Akari, ignoring the warnings from Kasumi and Hayate. "How do feel Akari?"

Akari smiled and hugged him, "I feel great. Thank you for helping me Vince."

Kasumi felt a pang of jealously and sadness as she saw Akari hugging Vince. Hayate noticed this and shook his head, not knowing what to say."

"Your welcome Akari." Vince replied with a nod.

Akari's smile then turned mischievous, "Here, let me thank you."

She placed his head in between her breasts, smoothering him. Akari's smiled smugly at Kasumi who at the moment was looking at her with a irritated look. "I've been wanting to do this to you for a while."

Kasumi immediately walked towards Akari and ripped Vince away from her grip. "Let go of him!"

"Why? Are you jealous?" Akari asked with a knowing smile.

Kasumi gritted her teeth in anger as Vince sighed and flicked both Kasumi and Akari's forehead. "Enough. Incase you two haven't noticed this place is going to be destroyed soon and we have to leave."

"I'm sorry Vince." The two answered at the same time, while rubbing their foreheads with their hands. They looked at each other annoyed at each other as Vince rolled his eyes.

Vince walked out of Helena's office aboard the Freedom Figher as he walked towards the outside of the ship with Akari walking by his side. (It'll take a while but I think Helena will be able to locate Donovan with the camera and the computer chip I turned in. She'll probably contact me right after she calls Ryu and the others. Hrm...)

"Vince what are you thinking about?" Akari asked raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing really important. Let's go see the others Akari." He said.

"Is it really necessary?" She asked pouting a little.

"Yes, besides I did say I would explain to both you and them about the Sacred Gears." Vince replied with a shrug.

"I guess you have a point, but still..."

"You shouldn't really hold a grudge on them. You know as a shinobi, that it was nothing personal. I don't like it, but that's just how it is." He answered with a sigh.

Akari said nothing but nodded, knowing that was the case. The looked out to see Ryu, Ayane, Hayate and Kasumi looking at them.

Vince raised an eyebrow before he shrugged. "I guess you want an explanation about the eyes and the Sacred Gears?"

"Yes, I've always wondered about their origins, when I asked father he would sometimes skip the conversation." Hayate stated, causing Ayane to look at him in surprise.

"All right. I'll explain now, just don't interupt me until I finish." Vince replied as he went into an abridged explanation about the origins and the functions of a Sacred Gear.

As soon he finished his explanation the five ninjas just looked at him while he just shrugged. "That's pretty much what a Sacred Gear is."

"So, when your eyes changed color, that was because of your Sacred Gear?" Hayate asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yup."

"And you were born with two Sacred Gears, with Yume-san watching over you." Kasumi added.

"Pretty much."

"You still haven't explained what your other one does." Ayane spoke with a frown.

"I honestly don't see why I should explain the second one." Vince replied rolling his eyes.

[Don't get upset with Vince. He just wants to keep most of his abilities a secret, especially with a Sacred Gear like this one.] Yume stated after seeing Ayane's look of annoyance.

"Why?"

"Let's just say, some people are going to be sensitive to what it does." Vince answered cryptically.

He turned to Akari and Kasumi, "What are you two going to do now? It'll take a while for Helena to finish analyzing Donovan's location."

Akari smiled and hugged Vince. "I'm going to live with you."

Vince's eyes widened as Kasumi narrowed her eyes. "No you're not."

He cleared his throat and turned to her, "You mind if I ask you a question Kasumi?"

"No, go ahead."

"So Kasumi when did you fill in all the right places?" Vince asked raising an eyebrow.

Ayane facepalmed as Hayate's eye twitched in irritation, Ryu shook his head while Kasumi blushed and looked at him disbelief. "We haven't seen each other in ten years and that's the first thing you ask?"

"Yeah, pretty much." He replied shrugging.

"You could have asked me Vince. I do know everything about Kasumi after all." Akari stated, causing Kasumi's eye to twitch in annoyance.

Before Vince could respond, his cellphone sounded off getting the others attention. He checked his caller I.D. and his eyes narrowed at seeing an unknown number. "Yeah, who's this?"

"Hey Vince-kun, it's me Sirzechs." He stated causing Vince's eyes to widen and Ryu's eyes to narrow.

"What is it?"

"Vince-kun, why aren't you in Kuoh right now? Ria-tan needs you more than ever now!" Sirzechs whined.

"...Uh what? I have my own problems to take care of and me not being there for a few days isn't gonna kill her." He answered rubbing his temples in irritation.

Apparently that was the wrong choice of words due to Sirzechs going into a lecture whining to him even more as multiple tickmarks appeared on Vince's head as his body started to shake. "Hrrrr..."

"Vince, you need to calm down." Kasumi called out in a worried tone as she and the others took a step away from him as sparks of electricity started to come out of his body.

"Shut the fuck up, Sirzechs!" Vince yelled as he discharged multiple blue sparks of electricity from his body, forcing everyone around him to dodge. He angrily slammed his cellphone shut and pocketed it. "Jackass."

"Vince who was that?" Hayate asked looking at him.

"That was my future brother-in-law, Sirzechs." Vince answered, remembering to play along with the engagement.

"You're engaged!?" Kasumi and Akari shouted in shock.

"And with Lucifier's younger sibling no less." Ryu added shaking his head.

"Lucifier has a young sister?" Hayate asked raising an eyebrow.

"Vince can you explain what exactly happened?" Akari asked with a chilling smile.

"I would like to know as well Vince." Kasumi added, with the same chilling smile.

"Why does that even matter?" Vince asked crossing his arms.

Just as he said this his cellphone sounded off, making his hand twitch in anger. He grabbed his cellphone from his pocket and answered it. "Yeah, who's this?"

"Vince it's me Azazel we need to talk." He said, making Vince's eyes to widen and Ryu's eyes to narrow even further.

"Huh... Does it have anything to do with Kokabiel?" Vince asked raising an eyebrow.

"So you already know that's makes explaining things easier. At the moment, Kokabiel is attacking Kuoh right now, he's going to kill both Rias Gremory and Sona Shitori to provoke the Devil's Faction into a Great War. I have someone going over there to stop him, but it'll take some time before he can go over there." Azazel explained, causing his eyes to narrow.

(That explains why Sirzechs just called me a moment ago.) Vince thought shaking his head.

He sighed in response. "I'll go over there right now. By the way Azazel."

"Yeah?"

"I will fight with the intent to kill him." Vince closed his cellphone with a dark look on his face.

He turned to the others who, looked mildly surprised at seeing his dark look, with the exception of Ryu who raised an eyebrow.

"Vince, what happened?" Kasumi asked in a concerned tone.

"Well, before I answer that I have a question to ask." Vince turned to Ryu with his arms crossed. "Since you know about the Sacred Gears, do you know about the Three Factions?"

"Yes."

"One of the leaders of Grigori is currently attacking Lucifier's little sister in her territory to provoke another Great War." He answered.

Ryu's eyes slightly widened before it narrowed. "I see."

Vince then went into a quick explanation about Three Factions and the Great War to Hayate, Kasumi, Akari and Ayane. After the explanation their eyes narrowed in response.

"We'll have to deal with Kokabiel immediately, he cannot be left alone." Hayate spoke seriously, with the others nodding.

Vince just blinked in surprise, "Wait, all of you are tagging along with me?"

"Of course. He has to be stopped and we can't let you do this alone." Kasumi said with a determined look.

"Besides, you helped us a lot. Now it's our turn to help you Vince." Akari responded with a nod.

"They are right. You have helped us quite a bit Vince, it would be rude not to help you otherwise and Kokabiel must be stopped at all costs." Ryu added.

Vince chuckled a little, making Ayane shot an annoyed look at him. "What's so funny?"

"It's nothing." He shook his head and started walking away. "Just follow me and I'll take you there. We'll have to get their at a moderate pace so we can recover along the way."

Everyone else nodded with Akari speaking up. "Vince, how do you know where it is?"

"I live there, or to be rather specific Rias Gremory, Lucifier's little sister lives with me." Vince stated, surprising Kasumi and Akari.

"She lives with you!?" She shouted with a look of disbelief.

"Yeah, anyway put on your hood Akari, it'll be pain if people ask why you look like Kasumi, before we deal with Kokabiel. Especially Rias... " He replied with a sigh, causing Akari to cover with face with her black hood with a small frown at the mention of her.

Hayate chuckled a little, "You've changed quite a bit Vince."

"Shut up and let's go." He said with an annoyed look.

Vince sighed as he skided to a stop. "We're here, this is Kuoh."

Everyone else noticed a large barrier around the school as Hayate spoke. "Is the barrier normally there?"

"No."

"Then that is where we'll find Kokabiel." Ryu answered seriously.

"Most likely, either way. If you shinobi don't mind I would like to for only three of us to fight Kokabiel at a time, while everyone is else is waiting." Vince said to them.

"Why?" Ayane asked raising an eyebrow.

"Incase one of us gets exhausted the other can quickly switch in, while the other person rest. Also, it'll be incase Kokabiel tries a trick. The other people in reserves will be able to immediately act." Vince pointed out with a shrug.

"That's actually a pretty good plan." Hayate said with a nod.

"Moving on, at some point I will switch out so I can charge up a powerful attack. It should weaken or kill him." He replied.

"Why don't you just charge up your attack from the start?" Ayane asked him.

"Because I want to get a good hit on that son of a bitch first." Vince responded crudely, causing Kasumi and Hayate to look at him, in slight surprise for his language.

"Let us get going, we have no time to waste." Ryu stated seriously.

"Yeah, let's go."

Everyone else quickly ran towards the school, upon reaching their Vince and the others saw Sona inside of the barrier. He looked at the others and sighed. "Wait a moment, I'll talk to her."

"You know her Vince?" Kasumi asked curiously.

"Yeah, she's the very strict and annoying student council president of this school." Vince remarked, causing Kasumi and Akari to sweatdrop and for Hayate to shake his head at his disrespect.

He walked towards to Sona as she gave him a stern look. "I heard what you said Vince and you're late."

"I wasn't keeping it a secret Sona you can be very annoying when you want to be, not to mention I had my own crap to deal with." He said with a shrug.

Sona's eye twitched in irritation, but sighed. "It must have been something important if you have the Dragon Ninja and the Kunoichi of Destiny with you along with their allies."

"You don't know the half of it. Anyway, let us through the barrier Sona. We're going to kill Kokabiel." Vince said, making Sona's eyes widen.

"You're going to kill Kokabiel? That's not an easy feat. He is a powerful fallen-angel who's name has been recorded in the bible." She replied seriously.

"I don't care about his credentials, he's as good as dead." He stated.

Sona shook her head and undid part of the barrier, "Be very careful Vince."

"Don't worry."

"Just one thing Vince." She said looking at him.

Vince raised an eyebrow as Sona spoke. "Rias has been very worried about you since this past few days."

"Huh... Well, I have a good reason for not being there." Vince gestured towards the shinobi to follow him as he walked into the barrier with the others.

The six ran through the courtyard as Akari spoke up. "Who's going to fight Kokabiel first?"

"I'll be going first, you guys hide and decide which two people will fight with me. The two people hiding will be able to catch him off-guard. I'll be going on ahead." Vince said to her.

The other shinobi nodded with Kasumi and Akari hesitantly nodding. Vince channeled lightning into his feet and ran at even faster speeds.

After a few minutes, Vince stopped channeling lightning into his feet and looked ahead. He his eyes narrowed as he saw Freed unconsious, an old man dead and with the exception of Rias who looked completely devastated, everyone else from the clubroom along with Xenovia compleltely bruised up and beaten. (Interesting.)

Vince clapped his hands gaining everyone's attention. Rias and her peerage along with Xenovia's eyes widen as they saw him clapping with his hands as he started to walk closer to Kokabiel.

Kokabiel gave him an amused smile as he saw Vince walk towards him. "You want to me fight me too human?"

"Fight you?" Vince shook his head as he smirked at Kokabiel. "No, I wanna kill you."

Everyone's eyes widened at the answer as Kokabiel started laughing. "You're just a weak human, you wouldn't be able to-" He was immediately cut off as Vince punched him directly in the kidney with a pressurized water punch. "Well what do you know? A weak human managed to cause you pain. How about that?"

Kokabiel coughed up some blood as he repeatedly kept punching him in the kidney, until Vince paused for a moment. Before sucker punching him directly in the face, sending him a few feet away from his water punch.

Vince shook his hand as a small amount of blood came out of his knuckles. (Sheesh, it's like hitting a wall made out of titanium.)

Everyone's eyes widened further at the attacks he delievered to Kokabiel. Vince turned to Rias and Akeno, who both still looked shocked. "Sorry for being a little late. I had something I needed to take care."

Vince turned around to see Kokabiel who had an angry look on his face. He ignored his furious look as he took out his gray cellphone. (Using Devil form is out of the question, the weakness I have to his light attacks wouldn't be worth it.)

He pressed the button, his eyes turned silver and everyone's eyes further widened as Vince started to radiate holy-energy from his body.

Kokabiel's face turned from angry to furious in a moment. "This energy... You're Sacred Gear, you can turn into an a Angel?!"

"What of it?" Vince asked cracking his knuckles.

"I'll kill you!" Kokabiel hovered above the sky and launched a light spear at him.

Vince blocked the light spear with a triangular white water shield. "No use!"

He then flicked his fingers. An enormous bolt of white lightning came from the sky and zapped Kokabiel, making him fall to the floor with a small amount of smoke coming from him.

"You know, chicken is much more econimical but I wouldn't mind trying some roasted fallen-angel wings." Vince commented unbeknownst him, Akeno heard that comment and blanched at the thought.

"Nngh... You'll pay for that." Kokabiel said getting up.

Vince unsheated his katana as it radiated holy-energy, surprising everyone else again. He pointed it at Kokabiel as the blade angrily shook as it radiated holy-energy. "I doubt that. But I can assure you, you'll pay for getting in my way."

Just as Vince said that Akari and Hayate appeared out of nowhere and slashed off two of his wings with their respective ninjato's.

"Gaaaaaahhhhh!" Blood poured out from his back as his wings fell to the floor. "Y-You two, my wings!"

Akari and Hayate quickly jumped away as Kokabiel tried to impale them with a light spear. Vince quickly took the initiative and charged at Kokabiel, he saw this coming and created a light-sword to parry the attack. "Your holy-sword isn't enough!"

"Then how about this?" Vince discharged white lightning from his body and katana, making Kokabiel scream out in pain as he quickly flew away. He fired feathers from his at the three.

Vince quickly created a shield made out of white water as both Hayate and Akari quickly ran behind the shield from protection. The shield blocked most of the feathers, with some of them piercing through the shield. (Tch, these feathers are annoying.)

"Ryu, switch!" Hayate called out as he quickly disappeared.

Ryu appeared out of nowhere and stabbed Kokabiel's torso with a japanese sword. He then brutally pulled out the sword and kicked him away.

"Aaargh! The dragon ninja is here too!?" Kokabiel shouted in shock, before he started smirking. "At least there will be some challenge for me."

"Such self arrogance..." Ryu said shaking his head.

"No kidding." Vince spoke as he rolled his eyes.

The two immediately charged at Kokabiel who created a light sword to parry the attacks, while launching light spears at Vince. He immediately cutted through the light spears with his katana as he launched a lightning bolt at him.

Kokabiel tried to get away, but couldn't as Ryu pressed hard against his light-sword. At the last second he rolled out of the way as the lightning bolt slammed into Kokabiel's stomach, making him scream out in pain.

Akari quickly took this chance and teleported behind him. She grabbed Kokabiel's arm and brutally twisted it, making a loud popping sound. Akari then charged up a green energy sphere and blasted him in the face directly sending Kokabiel a few feet away.

"Ayane switch!" Akari called out as she quickly left as Ayane came out and quickly threw some kunai at him.

"Damn you!" Kokabiel blocked the kunai with his light-sword as Ayane took out her kodachi and dashed towards him with Vince and Ryu, following suit.

The three quickly overwhelmed Kokabiel with well timed slashes, they immediately followed up with a slash to his arms with their respective swords.

Blood poured out from Kokabiel as furiously charged at them. "Damn all of you!"

The trio quickly dodged the furious attacks from Kokabiel. Vince quickly jumped away as he sheated his katana. "Kasumi, you're up! I'll take care of my end."

Kasumi appeared from behind Kokabiel and deepened the wound on Kokabiel's torso, by slashing it with her ninjato, causing him to scream out in pain more blood poured out from his wound.

"Gaaaargh!"

Vince took a deep breath as his body started to radiate a blue-silver aura. (Focus...)

Rias and her peerage looked at him in surprise as he radiated the powerful aura from his body.

"Ara ara, it looks like we might see Vince-kun's true power." Akeno spoke with a smile.

The sliver-blue aura suddenly increased in intensity as Vince brought his hand into the air as an enormous amount of white lightning discharged from his hand.

"To think that Vince had this much power inside of him." Rias said, her eyes widening at the power radiating from him.

"Raaaah!" Vince summoned a massive, winged creature with five lightning symbols from his hand. "Jigadirasu Uru Zakeruga!"

Everyone's eyes widened upon seeing the massive winged created. The creature itself started generating a white lightning from his body as Vince spoke. "I'll send you to the afterlife, with this."

Ryu, Kasumi and Ayane immediately got out of the way just in time as the created released a tremendous concentrated beam of white lightning at him.

Kokabiel's eyes widened in fear, but couldn't respond in time due to his injuries as the beam of white lighting engulfed him, his last words were him screaming in agony.

The beam of white lightning also pierced right through the barrier and right through another portion of the school, leaving no trace behind.

The winged creature disappeared as Vince fell to the ground breathing heavily, his silver eyes turning back to his regular black eyes. (Nice, school will probably be canceled for a while.)

Before Rias and Akeno could help him up, Kasumi and Akari appeared in front of Vince and helped him up, much to their ire.

"Are you okay, Vince?" Kasumi asked in a concerned tone.

"Y-Yeah, I'm okay..." He said gasping for air.

[Don't worry, it always happens after he uses it. But Vince has grown stronger if he hasn't fainted from using it like he did in the past.] Yume stated, getting a sigh of relief from the four.

"Fufufu, interesting." A voice spoke.

Everyone looked up to see a young man in the sky wearing white armor covering up his entire body, with large wings. Issei immediately tensed up at seeing him, while the others were immediately on guard.

Vince frowned at seeing the young man, before a sudden realization hit him. "You... I'm guessing you were the one that was sent to stop Kokabiel?"

The young man flew down and picked up Freed, carrying him with one arm. "Yes, I was a little late. But at least I got to see an interesting fight."

"Who are you?" Vince asked him.

"My name is Albion."

The jewel Albion's along with Issei's gauntlet began to glow.

[Are you ignoring me, huh, white-one.] A voice spoke, from Issei's gauntlet.

Vince immediately tuned out the conversation, not finding it interesting. He tried to get up, but nearly fell down, before he grabbed by Akari. She smiled beneath her hood and placed his arm between her breasts. "I'll help you, Vince."

Kasumi, Rias and Akeno shot her and annoyed look as Kasumi, slightly tightened her grip on him. Vince however looked unamused. (And Issei's dream is to have this for the rest of his life?)

"You need strength to understand everything. Get stronger, my rival-kun, I will fight you one day." Albion turned into a white light and flew up.

Vince sighed as he looked at him flying away. "It's over."

"For now." Ryu stated.

Vince nodded as he got out of Kasumi and Akari's grip. He stood with some difficultly, but more or less shrugged it off. "So what are you five going to do now?"

"I'll have to return to the village and report this to the others. They'll have to know about this." Hayate answered with Ayane nodding.

"I will have to do the same as well. It is most likely that future events involving the Three Factions will be chaotic." Ryu responded seriously.

Akari took off her black hood and hugged Vince. "I'll be staying with you Vince."

Kasumi's eye twitched but smiled. "I will be living with you as well, Vince. I'll have to make sure nothing happens."

"So the runaway ninja isn't going to runaway anymore? That's a surprise." Ayane snarked.

"I wouldn't be surprised to see a substitution in my place while the real one is running off somewhere." Vince added, much to Kasumi's ire and Ayane's slight surprise.

Hayate nearly choked on his breath, "What!? You two can't live with him, it's indecent!"

Kasumi gave Hayate a look that left no room for arguement. "Brother, I am staying with Vince. I did not ask for your approval."

"And were both old enough, not to mention we both are not Mugen-Tenshin shinobi. You have no jurisdiction over us." Akari spoke with a chilling smile.

The tense atmosphere between the three broken as Issei shouted. "Sugoi! It's Kasumi and Ayane-chan with a beautiful bishojou twin of Kasumi-chan! Their petite body and big op-pai are amazing!"

Hayate's hand went to his sword, before he was stopped by Ryu who shook his head as Vince smirked at the three. "Congrats you three now have the attention of a depraved and perverted fanboy."

"Shut up." Ayane said, her eye twitching.

"Not funny Vince." Kasumi replied with a frown.

"Don't even joke like that." Akari spoke, also frowning.

"I don't see why not? He even has the ability to completely destroy a woman's clothing." He replied with a shrug.

"You're kidding right?" Ayane asked as her eye twitching.

"Nope, he has a technique that destroy and type of clothing most preferably a woman's, it's called Dress Break. He's also a super pervert. So, unless you want to be stripped it wouldn't be advisable for you to let him touch you. If I recall correctly, he created that technique by stripping Asia, who used to be a nun." Vince replied with a shrug.

Hayate's hand discretely went to his sword before he was stopped by Ryu who shook his head again.

"Oi, I'm right here, you know!" Issei shouted.

"So?" Vince and Ayane spoke in unison.

Asia radiated a dark aura as she pinched his cheek. "Issei-san..."

"Owowow... Asia, that hurts!" Issei said. "Don't worry! You are pretty as well. I've seen you once naked so you don't need to-" Suddenly Issei felt the cold steel of a blade being pressed against his neck. While sweating furiously from fear, he looks to his side and sees Ryu glaring at him.

"For your own sake... you better not continue that sentence..." Ryu said coldly, his blade going slightly deeper into his neck, but not enough to make him bleed.

"Huh, talk about old fashioned." Vince commented nonchantly.

"Vince, Ryu isn't old fashioned, that really isn't normal behavior." Kasumi answered.

"Really? It looks normal to me. I guess I've been hanging around Issei too much." He said, alarming Kasumi and Akari.

Rias cleared her throat as she spoke. "I apologize for my "Pawn" and his perverted nature, but do let go of him."

Ryu nodded and hesitantly sheated his blade, he went to Hayate's side as Vince spoke up. "Rias."

"Yes?"

"This is Kasumi and Akari. They're going to live with us." He said gesturing towards the two.

"What!?"

(I can't say no to Kasumi and Akari. They're both my friends and I'm sure if our roles were swapped, they wouldn't hesitate to take me in.) Vince thought to himself.

"Ara ara, that's a surprise." Akeno commented, her hand on her cheek as she smiled.

"I'll be staying to make sure nothing happens." Kasumi answered with a smile.

"And, I'll be staying too, so Vince will be all mine." Akari added, also smiling.

Kasumi and Akeno frowned as Rias grabbed Vince's right arm and Issei cried tears from his eyes. "No! Vince is mine!"

Kasumi immediately grabbed his left arm. "Vince is not yours!"

"He's mine!" Akari shouted, holding onto his back.

"I can't believe I'm seeing this..." Hayate spoke shaking his head, causing Ryu to look at him in sympathy.

They continued to pull on Vince, playing a mini tug-of-war as his eye twitched in irritation. The constant pulling from the three finally got on his last nerve. "Knock it off!"

A small amount of electricity discharged from his body, shocking Kasumi, Akari and Rias. Not enough to hurt them, but enough for them to let go. At that moment Akeno grabbed Vince and smiled. "Ufufu, you're so aggressive Vince-kun."

"Dammit."

Authors Notes: Finally done. This chapter was fun to write and I worked really hard to type it because it's the finale of an arc. A lot of stuff happened and with this the Kokabiel arc ended, now to go a little more in-depth with some of the explanations in this chapter. Mainly because a lot of stuff should have been explained in the chapter itself.

The reason why Akari seems to get an enjoyment from seeing someone like Ryu and Ayane run from their lives. Which in this case is, running from a helicopter shooting bullets at them. Is because she does has some resentment towards them, they did nearly kill her after all.

To go a little further in-depth with Alpha-152's behavior with Vince. She's basically a clone that reacts strongly to emotions. She is Kasumi's clone who has feeling towards Vince, it should be expected for Alpha-152 to react strongly to this.

I also decided to have Akari fight Alpha-152 alone, because of the situation it would be more fitting. But she did have a few close calls as seen when her body turned transparent a few times.

One thing to note, now that Akari has merged with Alpha-152 she has all of her abilities along with her own. If you've played Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate then you should know by now that Akari is Phase-4.

As for why Vince mainly stuck to support with his healing in the case of the Alpha-152 fight is because it would have been smarter to heal them, plus there was more than enough fighters and support seemed like the best thing.

Another thing to note, Vince can be very blunt about his opinion on other people, as shown with him not hiding the fact he called Sona annoying in front of her. He doesn't hate her, but he finds her annoying to say the least, that's mainly due to her strict nature that clashes with his more free nature.

As for the fight with Kokabiel, considering that Vince had help from five very powerful shinobi along with both him and them wanting to kill Kokabiel, it's expected that he would die. Painfully, I might add.

The attack Vince used to finish off Kokabiel is Jigadirasu Uru Zakeruga from the anime/manga Konjiki No Gash Bell! It is Vince's ultimate attack for lightning, he can use it only once a day though because it drains him of so much energy. But the attack in terms of strength it's clearly a surpasses Issei's Dragon Shot attack when it's boosted to the maximum.

To go a little more in-depth with the attack itself. Jigadirasu Uru Zakeruga shoots the corresponding lightning, depending on what form he is in. For angel, it shoots white lightning. For devil it shoots out black lightning and for human regular blue lightning. Vince has a small history with the attack himself and I'll go more into that in a future chapter.
