53 Ch. 53 Opening Day pt.2

(Some people thought all cap for the announcements was a bit much so I'll just do them normally for this one.)

"Now as well all know, today's main event will be between the 'peerages' of Lith Azaroth and Thor Odinson. And here are the official lineups." Apollon announced as the images of Thor and Lith appeared on the big screen.

Thor was known far and wide in the supernatural world for his great strength, powerful lightning and hammer, and his body showed it.

On top of his wild handsomeness ideal for a Viking, electric blue eyes, and slightly wavy shoulder length blonde hair, his body was that of a warrior's, packed with muscles and built to go through his enemies more than for skill.

Lith on the other hand, was mainly known in the upper circles of the Underworld and had not been seen truly publicly outside his realm since his wedding was broadcasted. So many were in fact seeing him for the first time or had their memories jogged.

He wasn't as large as Thor in pure muscle due to his being far more compact and defined, but he was a few inches taller. Lith also had a more 'exotic' appeal with his flawless caramel skin, shunning green eyes like a mix between gold and an emerald, his own shoulder length plum colored hair tied up in a loose ponytail and handsome face which was a mix between regal, calm and kind.

"Following them are their respective 'Queen' pieces.

On Thor Odinson's side we have Vidar Odinson, God of Vengeance, younger brother of Thor and Youngest of Odin." Apollon said as the image appeared.

Vidar had many similarities between his two brothers seen on his face, but he had short white-gold hair, golden eyes, and a Viking style braided beard. He was noticeably smaller than his elder brother however.

"And on my Hubby's side we have someone who strikes fear in the hearts of gods and heroes! The ex-Queen of the Land of Shadows! The God-slayer herself, Scáthach!" Serafall dramatically revealed as her beautiful visage appeared for all to see.

Even Apollon who knew about her and had met the woman, still felt some trepidation in front of her cool wine red eyes, much less many of the gods present who have heard of her devastating skill and power.

"A truly fearsome woman by any standard, but luckily the Odinsons are not the only powerhouses in the team. As the sole Rook of his peerage, Thor has brought his son, Magni Thorson, the God of Strength." Apollon said in response to Lith's Queen as the two commentators were having a nice little back and forth.

On the screen now showed a handsome looking young man, but his rather bulking body took away from his savage Good looks. He had his father's blonde hair, but kept longer and braided, red eyes, and a bare torse showing off his many muscles and scars as he preferred to sport only a loin cloth.

"Hmph, that brute is going to get pounded once Lith's Rooks get their turn. Because we have Milim Y Goch, The Shattering Dragon Princess, and daughter of the Red Dragon Emperor and Chaos Karma Dragon, and Moka Cain-Springfield, one of the last two descendant of the real royal bloodline of vampires and a powerful sacred gear wielder." Serafall shot back with pride over those two girls as their images popped up.

Milim was giving a bloodthirsty grin with her dragon pupils activated while Moka seemed to arrogantly look down on those looking at her with her prideful beauty.

"That is indeed quite the destructive duo Lith Azeroth has found. And I've heard that Moka's mother is currently your own Queen Serafall." Apollon admitted as the rooks looked like they were becoming a competition between the children of powerful beings.

"Yup~! Eva-chan is great and always works super hard when she isn't busy on other matters." The Satan confirmed as this sent many waves due to the Vampire 'Civil War' which has been ongoing since the disappearance of the Cain Line, only for two to suddenly appear.

"But are they going to be enough to offset the Knightly duo of the legendary Sleipnir and Lady Sif, one of the greatest Valkyries to ever live, consort of Thor and mother of Magni?" Apollon questioned as now their images appeared.

This was a unique one as Lady Sif, a proud and tough looking beauty with long raven hair, red eyes, and a warrior's body covered in Valkyrie armor, was ridding a dark purple, eight-legged horse with a braided white mane, mystic Nordic runes built into its own body and wearing golden war armor.

It was a mighty image.

"Psh! That's nothing when they'll be up against the Amazonian princess, and my fellow sister, Diana Azaroth of Themyscira, and the 'best swordsman' in the Underworld herself, Miyamoto Musashi!" Serafall answered as the image changed to show both women with their swords drawn and looking ready to cut down their foes.

"Truly fearsome ladies. My half-sibling can certainly tumble with the best of them. But can they stand against two more beasts of legendary lineage and the innate power to kill gods? Sköll and Hati, children of the Fenrir?" Apollon asked as he intentionally used a challenging voice to make things more exciting as the images of two great wolves, one with dark grey fur and the other with bluish grey, with golden horns from their shoulders showed up next.

"If that's the best Loki can give his brother then I pity his grandchildren! Jeanne and Mana alone are more than enough to take on those pups, much less with Medea, Ciri and Altera!" The 'riled up Serafall shot back as a picture of each beautiful and powerful woman was displayed.

"Then I guess it's good Thor brought his own masterful lady to shore up his group. Today we have the great Valkyrie Göndul, mistress of magic and runes. An established figure in not only Asgard, but also the world. She serves as Bishop." Apollon said as he introduced the final member of the Asgardian Team.

Before everyone was an elderly lady with impeccable posture, indomitable expression, and a slim body covered in deep blue robes. She gave a feeling of experience, knowledge and fearlessness.

"I know just how good she is, we have had many great talks about magic when I was visiting Asgard on business, but she's certainly in for a fight this time. Because today she will be judged against Lith's Bishop. A woman who isn't bound by our limits, a true polymath who has created countless miracles by my hubby's side: Da Vinci-chan!" Sera finally said as all participants were now officially introduced with this last pair.

Many devils and audience members, specifically the men, started to feel some measure of jealousy towards Lith as they realized that he had surrounded himself with various esteemed beauties of many types. Especially since 4 were already listed as Azaroth.

"And with all contestant introduced, time for the rules of this contest." Apollon smoothly followed. "This competition will follow the Dice Game format, where both 'kings' will come together before each round and each will role a single six-sided dice. The combined amount rolled will indicate the number of available points for both kings to deploy."

"That's right. And after the peerages were set, the judges have also revealed the worth of each participant using the basic numbers of the Dice Game format." Serafall continued before the information showed up on screen.

"Each pawn is worth 1 point, with those holding more than one piece equaling the total number owned. As a result Jeanne Azaroth, holding two pieces, is worth 2 points, while the rest of Lord Azaroth's pawns are only worth 1. The twin children of Fenrir, Sköll and Hati on the other hand, are both worth 3 points." Apollon said as the values were shown.

"Yup~. 3 points is also the standard value of both holders of the Bishop and Knight pieces, but since no one has two, all those with these pieces are worth 3 points." Sera quickly added.

"The Rook pieces on the other hand are both worth 5 points, but due to Magni Thorson holding two, his worth as grown to 10 points, even higher than the Queen piece holders worth 9." The sun god said with with a smile.

"And finally the Kings. Each was rated from 1 to twelve depending on how many 'Pawns' they would be worth by a neutral panel of judges. As such, Thor Odinson has been granted a worth of 12/12 for his renowned strength, and my hubby was underestimated at 10/12 because he isn't a big show off who causes trouble everywhere and destroys things for fun then beats up people trying to stop him." Serafall explained with some huffiness which made many who knew her wear a wry smile at how attached she was to her husband and also because that did sound oddly close to some of Thor's past behavior. "Should have been 13."

"Hahaha! What a wonderful relationship you two! And speaking of Lord Azaroth, here he is now, coming out with Lord Thor to make the first roll of the competition." Apollon happily announced.

And with that, everyone's eyes were on the two men walking to the center of the stage.

-Lith POV

"Hello again Thor. How has your time been since our last meeting?" I asked the man as we shook hands like men.

"It has been a trial to hold myself back from excitement! For such a grand event to occur, with fights and feasts abound, it feels like the old days." The Norse god nostalgically answered as he looked around.

"I can see that. Not many opportunities to let loose like this, even when sparring with my lovers and wife." I casually replied.

"Truly you and yours must visit Asgard one day! Such powerful warriors would be grandly welcomed!" He boisterously said with a great big smile.

"I am sure it would be a wonderful visit, but I must first win this match." I said to him with a challenging grin.

"Haha! I look forward to witnessing your true might." Thor replied with a battle hungry smile.

Reminded me of my Queen, but a lot less adorable.

"Me too. But for now, shall we?" I finally asked as the small pedestal with two dice appeared.

"We shall." He excitedly answered as we both picked up our die and rolled.

I rolled a 3 and Thor rolled a 5. (Random roll generator)

"It would seem that we have a total of 8 allotted points for this round, meaning the true heavy weights will not be permitted this round." Apollon announced as the results were on screen.

"What a shame I could not participate in the first round, but this shall be exciting nonetheless." Thor said with a bit of disappointment.

"Well we can't make this entire event too short now can we?" I replied with a grin.

"Verily! To disappoint so many with only one true clash would be wasteful!" The god wholeheartedly agreed before the two of us went to our team areas.

In my corner was all my girls looking rather excited, except for a mildly disappointed Scáthach as the number fell short by one.

"Alright, so we all know Thor can only send out two of his pieces. And knowing him he'll want a good fight, so he likely will be starting with his two Knights. Thoughts?" I opened with.

"A logical deduction beloved, I doubt he will split the pups unless necessary. They have a strong bond and powerful teamwork." My Queen commented.

"But that does raise the possibility of the two being the openers as well." Diana commented with a serious face.

"The chances are there, but I think Thor would prefer starting off with his people over his grand-nephews." I countered, but it wouldn't make much of a difference in the end.

The only possible threats among our opponents are the three gods. Hati and Sköll could possible hurt those present with their fangs, but they were just too weak to even have a chance.

Those plot-armored brats managed to kill them after all, and beside maybe Vali at the time, they were all insects to my girls.

And even those two Longinus wielders, if it was a fight to the death, they would end in an instant. That's the obvious disadvantage of all Sacred Gears, the wielders need to wield them and even more so for something like the boosted gear which needs a lot of time to get to max power.

"So who's going in first then?" Asked Ciri as everyone's eyes turned to me.

"Well, since they'll send two, so will we." I answered before looking at them. "Diana, Milim, you're up."

"Yes! Take that blood sucker!" Milim immediately gloated.

"Hmph! What ever washboard lizard." Moka coldly shot back.

"You're just jealous I get to go first." Milim replied as she skipped away energetically.

"Try to make sure she doesn't do anything too crazy." I told my Knight and second wife.

"Of course lord husband." She said as we shared a good luck kiss. "Await our victorious return."

And with that my Amazon princess walked towards the stage with a confident sway in her hips that she learnt from Scáthach.

'The battle skirt she is wearing with those boots are leaving just the right amount of thigh to be really tempting. She learnt well.' I thought appreciatively.

"Look at this folks, it would seem both teams have sent a mix of a legendary species and Knight!" Apollon announced as he noticed the four figures walking to the battlefield's entrance.

"Oooh! Mi-chan, Dia-chan, good luck! You can beat that horse and Lady Sif!" Serafall blatantly encouraged.

"Sera will be Sera." I commented with a warm smile at my wife having fun being herself.

"*Chuckle* Indeed." Scáthach fondly agreed.

-Dice Game Battlefield (3rd POV)

For this series of battle, Lith and a few others created a rocky plain with various outcrops.

This would allow a straightforward contest without anyone having any overt advantages.

Thus the four participants were teleported here.

On one side was the beautiful and valorous consort of Thor, Lady Sif, riding the mighty stead of Odin, Sleipnir.

And on the other was the energetic and battle hungry Shattering Dragon Princess, Milim Y Goch, with the second wife of Lord Azaroth and Amazonian Princess, Diana Azaroth of Themyscira.

"Hail fellow sister of blades and war! I wish an honorable battle between us." Diana loudly proclaimed as she stepped forward.

"I as well Amazon. I have heard of your people and expect much from clashing blades with you. If you can dismount me." Sif replied with respect and determination as she put on her winged helmet and readied her spear.

"A challenge! One I accept! But it would seem your experience in some matters is lacking." Diana said to her opponent.

"Oh? You are much younger than I and I have fought in numerous conflicts, so what experience to have above mine Amazon?" Sif questioned with narrowed eyes.

"You lack experience in what it means to be a 'Knight' as you've sealed one of our biggest advantages." Diana answered as her entire body was shrouded in lighting and she seemingly appeared before Sif in an instant, causing the former Valkyrie's eyes to widen in shock.

Sleipnir, being a near godly beast and Knight as well, reacted splendidly, managing to shift Sif's head away of Diana's punch, but this proved only to delay the inevitable as Diana used her momentum to kick Sif off her temporary stead and making her fly away, then pursued.

The eight-legged horse wanted to stay with her in order to protect her as his liege's son had asked and to keep their initial strategy for this battle, but in front of him stood a wildly grinning dragon in the form of a teen.

"Nuh uh. Not going anywhere horsey. You're playing with me for this fight." Milim said to it as her wings emerged from her back and she prepared for their fight.

Her words and expression caused Sleipnir to feel a shiver going through its body before it defiantly neighed and struck the ground with its powerful hooves.

"Oooh! A brave horse. You remind of Sigil, uncle's unicorn familiar." Milim commented idly before mockingly grinning. "Just weaker."

That seemed to tick the proud horse off as it burst forward with a powerful charge at the pink haired teen, causing thunderous sounds with every thump of its hooves on the ground, moving even faster than it usually could thanks to its Knight piece.

"Hahahahaha! Let's go!" Milim responded madly as she too ran forward with her proud body.

BAAAAAM!!

The two collided with a sound wave exploding from the impact as the ground collapsed from the force exuding from the pair.

In the dust was a sight which would shock any Asgardian and even many other gods who had seen the might of Sleipnir's charge, because the much smaller teen actually managed to stop him with her bare hands as they seems to be in a stalemate.

"Wow! No wonder you're so famous. You forced me to reinforce myself." Commented Milim honestly.

If one observed more closely, they would notice that there was actually two lines in front of Milim's feet, indicating that the charging horse had in fact been succeeding initially, but was stoped soon after.

"Aaaaaannnndd… up we go!" Milim declared as she threw the horse up at ridiculous speed before jump after and then going even faster with her wings.

Sleipnir was surprised by its sudden flight, but it was an experienced war horse, so it quickly adjusted itself and used its unwanted momentum to start running on the air, beginning an extremely high speed game of tag as the two flew/ran, clashing against each other in great charges.

Milim held an overwhelming advantage in strength and durability, Sleipnir realized this after she started doing more than pure brute strength in her weakest form. The old horse had faced dragons before and knew very well that their human forms were significantly weaker, but what made it very uneasy was that this girl was enjoying herself with happy laughter as they clashed and she wasn't using anything beyond reinforcing herself with draconic energy.

"Milim certainly is taking her time enjoying herself. I can already see Scáthach giving some punishment for that, but I can't fault her for being happy about 'letting loose' as it were." Diana said with a small smile as she stood some distance away from the horse and dragon dogfight, waiting for her opponent to stand.

"*Cough* *Cough* It would seem… we were underestimating you all far too much." Sif said as she caught stood up clutching her stomach.

"My lord husband has said that this was likely the case. The world itself has underestimated us all and that it was time for everyone to see our might." Diana replied as somehow, in the cloudless dimension they found themselves in, storm clouds formed above the entirety of it, rumbling with powerful bolts of lightning.

"Divinity!?" Sif stated out of shock as this storm and lightning felt similar to her husband's, even if weaker.

"I thought more people would be aware of my heritage, especially after lord Apollon mentioned my status as his half-sister." Diana said casually as her body emitted divine lighting she had been constantly improving under her husband and fellow peerage members' guidances, even improving rapidly thanks to the 'blank' divinities her beloved husband had gifted them and the new divinity she and the others had been forming for their new realm. "Regardless, I am the daughter of Queen Hippolyta of Themyscira and of Zeus, Greek Lord of the Sky. Although I do not care for or even like my so-called father, this does not mean I shut out the positives which came from his seed."

"That explains it." Muttered Sif under her breath before focusing on the matter and hand and readying her spear. "Fine. Although it would seem i am at a great disadvantage, I shall not go down without a proper fight!"

"Just as a warrior should." Diana replied with an approving nod.

She then took out her spear, taking her proper stance.

Diana might not be as skilled in the spear as Scáthach, nor come close to Musashi in the sword, but she was without a doubt an incredibly skilled warrior. And her main fighting approaches were with the spear, sword, shield and body, with deadly and efficient mixes of the four alongside her divinity and magic.

In Lith's terms, she was closer to an 'all-rounder' and second in command after the peerage's Queen. Strong, steady, confident and reliable. And although not the most powerful in the peerage, she was well respected for her incredible tenacity, honor and will.

"Let us begin our exchange O Valkyrie of Asgard." Diana said clearly as she moved forward, but much slower than the first blow.

Sif knew what Diana was doing. It was an exchange of martial prowess and of bodily might. And although it stung her pride that her opponent clearly holding back, even if she was obviously ready to burst forth with great power judging by the clouds above and lightning just under the surface of Diana's body, Sif would not back away from such a challenge.

She might have been a Valkyrie with a very minor divinity, but she was proud of her cultivated skills and would not bring shame to her husband by yielding without a fight.

Thus both warrior women, who love their 'kings' and hold great honor, clashed in a blur of motions.

Unlike the contest between Milim and Sleipnir, one of brute strength, this was a test of pure skill for the ladies as they stab and thrust unceasingly, displaying spearmanship most could only dream of.

Subtle deflection, artful deception and fakes, smooth transitions from attacking to defending. It was a show of decades and centuries of training.

Only a few had matching skills, a fewer surpassing the two.

Sif was one of the original Valkyries. She had a measure of non-combat related divinity, which only served to give her an edge over non-divine Valkyries at most. Everything beyond that was built on training and the battlefield. Even though she is now retired, she never stoped at least keeping in proper fighting form as to not shame her past efforts nor been seen as a weakness to exploit for those targeting her man and the father of her child.

So as she fought, more and more of her power was put onto this moment of theirs, as their spears clashed, instead of following her deeply engraved understanding of 'energy management'. Both their bodies began emitting powerful empower auras as the strikes destroyed more and more of their surroundings.

But as she could have easily guessed from the first two attacks Diana had used, she was outmatched. Not only in physical prowess, but also skill wise as cuts, scratches and even a few shallow stabs littered her body.

Sif knew Diana was simply matching her state, using magic and her divine energy to reinforce her body, but she was surprised that someone much younger than her was surpassing her in skills.

Then suddenly she received a powerful kick out of nowhere, sending flying as her stomach once again felt pain.

Sif tumbled until she stabbed her spear into the ground to halt it, breathing heavily from all the accumulated damage the kick had amplified after stopping.

"You are very skilled, but it is unfortunate I have learnt from, trained and fought against much better to hone my own spearmanship." Diana said, but with no mockery or pity.

"Haaa…haa…Does she truly live up to her fame?" Sif asked out of curiosity.

Scáthach was a name every powerful female warrior had at least heard of, and most of those in magical fields or wielding the spear likely idolized, this included Sif as Asgard had some dealings with her in the distant past. So she was curious as to how the God-Slayer had even been recruited, even more so by a Devil lord, but she was also curious about how she truly was in real life.

"Even more so. Truly a frighting powerful warrior, constantly aiming to reach ever higher heights even now. She drives us to be better than we even thought we could be, even if a bit too… enthusiastic about it at times." Diana answered truthfully.

"I must admit… I am jealous of you and your sisters for receiving her tutelage." Sif said with an honest smile.

"Now that my lord husband has transformed our home into a Neutral Ground for the various Pantheons and Asgard shall join after losing, I do believe you too could come receive some pointers at her training hall." Diana replied with confidence. "But that is for later. For now, prepare yourself."

"That is wonderful news. It would seem I will have to take a nice vacation after this." Sif said as she take a charging stance and began to focus a bit.

She gathered her energy and transformed into an aurora-like form around her. This was a technique the original Brynhildr taught her when she had been the captain of the Valkyries, and one she had made hers.

'It would have been better with my partner, but Sleipnir is occupied and I couldn't bring her with me either.' Sif thought briefly. 'Regardless… Ride of the Valkyries!'

With that the Asgardian flew forward as only a rainbow trail remained visible in her path and her body seemed to become one great spear.

On the opposite side of her, Diana had her own body erupting with powerful lightning, but was channeling it masterfully as she floated in the sky. Then suddenly, her lightning turned golden as it finally reached a suitable point and she flew down to meet her charging opponent.

'Trial of the Sky.' Diana inwardly declared as she came down like a golden bolt of lightning to meet the surging rainbow clad Valkyrie.

The collision was immense, and for a moment it seemed as if the colors of the world were challenging a golden light, but unfortunately for the colors, they were swiftly overpowered as the golden lightning broke them apart and struck the ground with incredible force.

"Thor Odinson Knight, retired." Was the announcement from Apollon as Diana's opponent was now gone.

She had been teleported out after her strike had broken through her technique to avoid grave injuries.

"A wonderful opponent. Now if Milim would finish her playtime we could return to my Lord Husband." The Amazon said with a satisfied smile as she felt quite good from having a nice spar against someone who wasn't in either her husband's or sister-wife's peerages.

On Milim's side of things, she was admittedly getting a bit annoyed that Sleipnir was constantly getting away from her thanks to its boosted speed as a Knight, but she was slightly placated by having broken its armor.

That last bit was scary for Sleipnir on the other hand since that armor had seen it through many battles. But the girl in front of him broke it in a manor that fit her monicker as the 'Shattering Dragon Princess' very well.

The poor horse was still suffering from various wounds his armor 'shattering' inflicted however, while the intense speed they were going and the strain of having to avoid every attack from the pink haired monster girl was mentally exhausting.

But the both of them noticed an intense clash, with gold fighting rainbow, only for the rainbow to be drowned out and here an announcement which did not bode well for Sleipnir.

"Looks like I played around too much huh. Big sis Diana's gonna want me to wrap things up to get praises by uncle." Muttered Milim before ultimately signing in resignation. "Whatever. Had some fun anyway."

Sleipnir heard her words and immediately had a sense of dread.

"Let me show you why they really started calling me the 'Shattering Dragon Princess'." She then declared as her previous levity disappeared and she looked at her target with seriousness. "[Shatter]."

With that last word akin to a declaration, the girl swung her fist and Sleipnir felt itself and everything around it break before slamming into the ground feeling like many of its bones just exploded… or shattered.

The poor horse was then teleported out.

"Thor Odinson Knight, retired." Apollon once again declared.

"Winner of this round is the Lith Azaroth peerage~!" Serafall's voice cheerfully announced as the two girls were teleported out and happily walked toward their team looking as fresh as they had entered

"Good job you two. A wonderful show of skill and power." Lith complimented, making the girls smile brightly.

Milim showed a cheeky pride-filled smile with a peace sign saying it was nothing.

Diana on the other hand decided for an instant reward as she passionately kissed her husband.

"That was just a preview of the reward awaiting you after our victory dear husband." She said with a seductive smile and a flash of lust in her eyes.

"*Chuckle* I look forward to it." Lith replied as he gave her firm and wonderfully sculpted ass a smack.

-Lith POV

'I love my women.' I briefly thought as I now had Diana enjoying her bonus reward for 'First Blood' by sitting on my lap with a cute happy smile on her face.

Her words really got me going a bit and knowing exactly what was under her armor and what I could do with it was always nice.

But for now we were simply enjoying our nice little break as the girls broke down the fights.

Interesting tidbit, technically for the audience and those at home, the fight was still ongoing.

They had to slow things down so that everyone could actually see the fight happening beside the big explosions and crashes.

This also served as a nice little strategy making break and to take care of any injured participants.

Sleipnir was in quite the pickle after Milim's use of her own original draconic concept. Her [Shatter] allows her to well, shatter, pretty much anything. And due to its conceptual nature, it could even shatter things like air and ignore certain laws as long as the girl was strong enough.

But since I wasn't skimping out of things today, the horse would receive a Phoenix tear or two and be right as rain. Plus we had all our best healers on staff today.

It took roughly twenty minutes for everyone to have fully witnessed the fight and then be told about how it all happened in less than 2 to make them all understand how ridiculous what they had just seen was.

The whole time Sera and Apollon were giving commentary regarding the fatality of this attack, the power behind the charges, how strong a blow was and how much destruction would happen if some technique was used in the outside world.

This way even the low-class individuals could understand just how powerful the people shown truly were.

"Well that was certainly a fascinating set of matchups. Power vs power and Skill vs skill." The sun god said with clear appreciation.

"You haven't seen anything yet! Those girls are all incredibly well rounded. Power, skill, magic and support, they know it all and have the juice to overcome pretty much anyone!" Serafall proudly exclaimed.

"That remains to be seen. Especially now that it is time for the second round to begin and for the Kings to come together once more." Apollon countered as Thor and I walked up once more.

"It would seem your wife had bested mine and my father's prized stead has suffered quite the mighty blow!" The Thunder god almost cheerfully said as I could feel his desire for battle radiating off of him.

"I am proud of my peerage. So let's see who goes next shall we." I replied with a proud smile.

"Let's! I desire battle!" He declared as we both rolled.

"Well would you look at that, 6 for Lord Azaroth and 3 for Lord Thor. This means the Queens might come into play." Apollon excitedly said as the crowd cheered in excitement.

"I won't be able to make my lover stay her hand. She has been looking forward to a good fight outside myself and my wife for some time now." I wryly said.

"Haha! Women can make any warrior bend, even more so if that woman is a warrior herself! And although it is a shame we cannot fight just yet, my brother is just as excited." Thor heartily replied at my words.

"Then I guess we really don't need to strategize much. Plus i am quite sure sending anyone other than your brother out would piss her off." I said with a slight shiver.

Scáthach can be scary when pissed. But also really cute and wanting to secretly be spoiled when upset.

"Aye. To be on the receiving end of the god-slayer's fury might be unhealthy." The god nodded in understanding as we separated.

Reaching my peerage I just smiled at my Queen, "He's all yours love. Kick his ass."

"Fufu~ I shall enjoy myself very much today beloved. After spilling the blood of a god after so long, you shall receive quite the boon." She said in an unbelievably sexy way even though most gods in the world with shiver in front of her right now.

'That skintight outfit is still great to rip off of her.' I absentmindedly thought with a grin as I watched her swaying ass.

"And would you look at that. Both teams sent out their queens, meaning this will be a fight between god and god-slayer. Will the former prevail or the latter manage to increase her count slain foes by another victim?" Apollon announced with noticeable energy as Vidar Odinson and Scáthach Azaroth walked up to their positions and were teleported to the designated battlefield.

-Battlefield (3rd person POV)

"To think I would face one of the only women to ever scare my father into never thinking about perverted thoughts about her. It's an honor." Vidar casually said with an amused smile.

"Hmm. You resemble him quite a lot from back then, even your demeanor. I wonder if a repeat of history is in order?" Scáthach replied with a predatory smile on her face.

"Hahaha! I would prefer to not suffer through your method of keeping a man soft lady Scáthach. I do have many lovely ladies to please back home." The god said a bit nervously in the face of those words.

He didn't want to suffer from incredible pain during any sort of erection and year long blue balls after all.

"Fufu~ Maybe a bit smarter than your father then." Was the response as she took out one of her dreaded spears.

"Well I'll be damned. That thing is a lot scarier than father described. Just how many gods have you made bleed and divine spirits killed to get that sort of aura?" Vidar asked as he felt something which was the antithesis of his being right there.

"Far too many Odinson, far too many." Scáthach replied a bit solemnly for a moment, "And I am certain you shall not be much of a fan of it after we are done either."

"Haha, I'm not that big of a fan now. In fact, I would very much appreciate if that thing could be put away." Vidar responded seemingly casually, but his eyes held extreme weariness and focus towards that spear and its wielder.

"How unfortunate for you then." Was his answer with a teasing smile.

"Had to try." Vidar said with a shrug as his magic boots appeared on his legs.

"Truly more unfortunate than you know." Scáthach then said.

"And why is that?" Vidar asked with trepidation as he felt his instincts ringing right now.

"You see… after being killed by my beloved and becoming his Queen, I threw myself into a great amount of training and learning to improve myself." Scáthach began to answer as Vidar's eyes widened at those words and his body tensed. "I was especially fascinated with my spear reaching my beloved after failing.

And I hadn't had any success until relatively recently."

"I guess congratulations are in order then." Vidar said as he tried to be a bit cheeky to relieve some of the dread building up in him.

He wanted to strike but saw more than no openings, he saw death should he reckless charge forward, so he was instead preparing various magical attacks not involving runes.

"Thank you." Scáthach replied with a smile. "But that wasn't all I achieved by finally reaching my beloved, I also found my path to the next stage, to truly climb to his level. Do you know what I discovered?"

"Haha! I do hope the god-slayer didn't somehow reach godhood. That would be quite ironic." The nervous god answered.

"I found quite the compatibility with [Cause] and [Effect] or maybe something closer to [Fate] as I achieved a wonderful new form after delving deeply into. Only after witnessing so many powerful beings gathering together today did it all finally click for me." Scáthach revealed as her wine red eyes became iridescent, her hair ethereal, and her body seemed to constantly shift and move as if going through every possible movements of herself at once but the most obvious was her likeliest act.

It was a baffling

"And this is why you've already lost Odinson and why your instincts and body have been alerting you.

You see, I've already stabbed you." Scáthach declared has bloody wounds erupted on Vidar's body, causing massive pain from not only the stabs and blood loss, but also the anti-divine properties of her spear.

That was until he disappeared.

"Thor Odinson Queen, retired." Apollon declared in total disbelief at what he had just witnessed.

"Well it isn't perfected yet and I am still unused to this new form of mine." Scáthach said as her body returned to normal, but then a loud snap was heard, then some crunching, bruises appeared, her clothing tore and various wounds were now visible.

She was then teleported out as well and went to rejoin her beloved with a proud little smile at his unbelievably surprised, proud, happy and loving gaze when he ran up to her in celebration of her success and to heal her wounds using his [Time].

It was actually one of the best things for her since it helped mitigate many of the current side effects her body was undergoing due to playing with the concept and taking a sort of advance of [Cause and Effect] to do what she just did. Something only possible because of how much she learnt about [Time] and [Space] from Lith. His [Time] was currently stabilizing her own and returning her to her 'present' state over her 'future' one.

The audience meanwhile, was completely stunned and not even the commentators could truly explain what had happened due to the incredibly high concepts Scáthach had demonstrated and the horrifying level of power she now seemed to have.

Vidar, for his lesser fame and status as the youngest son of Odin, was a powerful god in his own right. His kicking ability was said to rival Thor as a Top Ten, even if that left the rest of him behind, so to see him taken down without knowing what had happened was terrifying.

Odin had stood up from his chair in shock and was now seriously recalculating many things.

Sirzechs and Ajuka were left stunned because they recognized that state, and if she only now reached it and managed to strike Lith, doesn't that imply that their friend had long reached their level and might even be stronger!

Michael himself was mostly shocked that this skill frighteningly resembled the abilities of the True Longinus. Especially since many legends even mix the Gae Bolg, Gungnir and True Longinus already.

The other Pantheons were just shaken that the fabled god-slayer had not only gotten much stronger, but that her lover and 'king' required such strength to reach.

Those who knew her and House Azaroth properly however, were feeling a bit of mischievous glee over the huge reactions from that scene.

And those who wanted to secretly plot against House Azaroth and this new Neutral Ground, well they were feeling dread and glad that they hadn't done anything stupid yet.

All that was interrupted by one voice though.

"Oh my Satan! I am so proud of you Scá-chan!!!! I can't believe you did that! We are so having fun tonight!" The overexcited Serafall yelled, snapping everyone out of their daze and wryly smiling at her behavior.

But one thing is certain, this one battle has just changed many things in the world.

EXTRA AUTHOR NOTES:

This is turning out longer than I thought. Another 7000 words. At this rate it's gonna be over 20'000 for this bit, but oh well.

How was that for a twist at the end.

Scáthach, the ultimate badass lady of Fate, unlocks her true form! And then destroys her enemy.

It's really hard to describe how [Fate] or [Cause and Effect] could look like in a physical form, but in the end I decided on having 'possibilities' kind of constantly being there but also not there at the same time. a bit like when some anime's show multiple arms when going in slowmo or afterimages. Her eyes are to 'see' the [Cause and Effect] and the Hair was because it feels weird to not have anything change there during an anime super form.

Here's an explanation:

So many people suggested something related to [Cause and Effect] for Scáthach's concept once reaching her [True Form] largely due to Gae Bolg's effect in Fate to alter those properties to always deal a lethal blow to the heart. I decided to go with it while adding some bits and restrictions because it would be way too op to have full control over that.

One of the things I added was the connection to the concept of [Fate] due to it being the amalgamation of the entire planets [Cause and Effect] phenomenons, but pulled back so far and on such a scale that individuals cannot see the large majority of [Causes] for the [Effects], hence looking pre-destined or like fate. A bit like the concept for Shiva's 'future prediction' actually taking in everything happening in the 'present' to predict what will happen.

As for the restrictions, well that's why Scáthach suddenly had those injuries.

As of now, using her abilities allows her to basically get the best [Effect] for her [Cause], so she got those injuries because they were the counters or costs for the strikes she landed on her opponent. What she achieved was basically the 'best' results she could have gotten at the moment basically.

It's a complicated concept and I'll try to explain if you guys have more questions.

Anyway, as for the other fight, well it wasn't exactly a difficult one for Milim and Diana.

Personally I would put Sleipnir as a speed and charge specialized peak Ultimate-class. Powerful but not a true god in this. Certainly not anywhere near Fenrir and Midgardsormr. So Milim giving him a beat down when she's basically at the level of Great Dragon Kings shouldn't be surprising.

As for Diana's fight, I kind of put her opponent as a mix of Marvel Sif and Fertilty Goddess Sif by making her a minor goddess who trained herself to be a Valkyrie. Very skilled and experienced, but ultimately falls when faced with stronger, better trained and experienced.

I thought it would be a good time to have Diana show her own Lightning since Mana has hers and it's good for her growth as a future sky goddess. Suck it Zeus, I'm making your daughter stronger than you.

And Milim fully introduced her personal Dragon ability to [Shatter] which she developed from her inherited [Pierce] largely due to personally preference. I am actually thinking of developing her into a goddess of destruction on Mars.

Also, I know the beginning is kind of repeat information and some stuff most people who watched/read DxD could know, but proper explanations are necessary and I wanted to introduce/describe everyone new at once to get it out of the way.

Anyway, sorry I had to divide this again, next time we should have the last two fights and the after party/math.

Enjoy still.

(I am not doing this on purpose I swear. I even managed to cut Scáthach's battle down and still feel like I made her badass, while I cut down on details for Diana and Milim's fights.)
