1 Emotion Palace
In Valdan the capital of the Gold Country which had just moved from the status of a developing country to a developed Country, the people were celebrating, and the word on everyone's mouth was A Group, even Children were talking about this A Group.
Apparently it was only seven years ago, that this company was formed, and within a span of 7 years had taken over the entire world industrial wealth and to make matters worse, they had a private army which could go toe to toe with the Super countries army. And using their wealth and power alone, they changed the faith of a dying country into that of a super power and all this was because of A Group.
" The Times magazine just confirmed that the richest man both in the past and present is the chairman of A Group". Nobody was really surprised as they actually expected it, "That old man at the helm of A Group must be sleeping on gold and diamond bed's", "and how do you know that his old?" Someone asked have you seen him before? as far as everybody knows, no one has ever seen the chairman of A Group, so how are you sure he is an old man"
Conversations like this could be heard all over the world and on social medias as people tried to find the identity of the most powerful man in the world.
In a simple Coffee shop located on the road side, with a classy signboard on top which read "EMOTION PALACE", only a man could be seen seated behind a counter looking through his phone with his elbow on the table holding his cheek and one hand holding his phone, this man was extremely handsome with a fair skin, a sharp eye brows, cute nose and a dreamy like black hair, he was wearing a black long sleeve shirt along with a black jeans and shoes, he looked bewitching and dangerous. The coffee shop was very simple but elegant, and right now only a few workers could be seen going about their business in the kitchen whiles also gossiping about their boss.
" Is being this excessively handsome such a bad thing!" sighed one of the workers " I knew that girl was trouble the first day I saw her" replied another young man, this workers were all men with well toned dark skins and impressive builds.
" I can't believe she used him as bait to hook in a rich guy, how ironic" said the assistant manager with a smirk.
The girl they were talking about was the Crush of their boss, who had loved this girl from junior high to the university, she approached him and proposal to him about a month ago, everyone here thought it would have been a fairy tail ending but it didn't take long for them to find out that that the girl only dated their boss to make the one she really liked feel the urgency of losing her, which would force him to propose, so in short term, their boss was used as bait to draw the fish.
" Why is he so nonchalant about it though, he seemed too calm, it seems he isn't' affected that much, so why are we making such a fuss about it since the victim himself isn't that affected", said a rookie among the kitchen staff, they looked at him and shook their heads, "you are too young to understand that, the deeper it hurts the more you hide your feelings".
As the employees were feeling sorry for him, the ''victim" suddenly put his phone down and uttered with a cold voice " Linda, you will surely regret this, to use a big fish like me to hook a worm"
