Hijacking the System I

Departing Rika's crib we were in a dilemma. There are too many of us to fit in the humvee so a decision had to be made. Half of us went in the Hunvee, the other half in the Honda pickup. We have grown in size and now we're equivalent to a small convoy.

"Uhm uhm!~" Shizuka is humming happy noises at the back, it is no wonder... I promised my next private time would be with her. That, coupled with the fact that I have to be at the bottom for a week. Made her expectant.

First team in the humvee at the front -leading the way- is led by me and I have Saeko, Rei, Shizuka, Saya, and Hirano.

The second team's leader is Lucy and she has Kyoko, Takashi, Mikoto, Higuchi and Arisa.

The reasoning was a simple yet complicated one. The first vehicle is going to receive most of the burden on the road so we needed the heavyweights in here. While the second vehicle was more of a secure haven. Kyoko wanted to be with Higuchi to keep a watch on him and make sure he didn't do anything funny but I also couldn't leave them alone so Lucy suggested going there to be long-range and also, to keep an eye on Higuchi. Mikoto wanted to be with Takashi so that's not an issue. As for Arisa... she wanted to be with me in this vehicle but I told her that wasn't going to be possible. I can't have her here when she can't even defend herself.

Shizuka is driving the Humvee while Kyoko is driving the Honda; we're well-rounded and ready to face any threat. In my team I had Hirano for the long-range, this boy is more than capable of handling it on his own.

He's enjoying himself... Hirano, I don't have unlimited gacha points for ammo you know? in fact... I'm about to make a huge expending.

[Are you sure you want to do this?] Hollow asked me. No, I'm not ready but now that we have separated into two separate vehicles; this is necessary.

"Go ahead..." I said, exhaling a deep breath as my heart cracked. I refused to cry when I saw the points Chiyo had diligently worked hard to obtain, start to disappear.

"Don't do it... nothing else?" I'm relieved, so far everything is working fine.

"No way..." I gasped, looking through the menus to find out there was indeed a new button that wasn't there before next to the gacha menu.

[Brand: It is a chat...! You didn't say anything about this, Hollow...]

[They're your partners connected through the system. It is only natural you would be able to do this. The only reason they're not allowed to use the gacha is for security reasons. The gacha is directly connected to Lady Sonasha. I'm not allowed to give access to her power to anyone else other than you].

I guess it does make sense but this adds a completely different value to the whole upgrade. If I'm going to be able to talk to them regardless of distance, then I definitely must give it to all of them. This is too useful!

[Lucy: So this is the system and with an integrated chat to top it off! such an interesting thing, I wonder how it is programmed... with magic? runes?]

Lucy was starting to get all geeky.

[Please refrain from trying to hijack the system, Miss Lucy. Though even if you tried that would be impossible].
