High School Affair

His bathroom wasn't so big but it was nice to see that he managed to keep the toilet clean and shiny. Well, she had to admit she was impressed. They were only a few inches from each other. She could smell his clean vibrant scent and the warmth that radiated from him. Her heart raced in her chest as she studied every inch of his face. She practically feared he'd hear the racing of her heart so she tried to appear cool and collected. He was eerily calm too but when she brushed his hair away from his face to touch the wet cloth on his head, he flinched. Her finger tips touched his skin and sent shock waves through her and he felt them too. He caught hold of her hand and stepped back, creating more space between them. "I'm fine," he told her again, but this time, the statement was attached with that breathtaking grin he so often wore around her. She flushed and then dropped the wet cloth by the sink. By the time she looked up at him, he was still gazing at her and he still held on to her hand.
