11 1.8 The First World (Part 3)

(Huh!) White Ball looked at its host with a superior feeling. (If you beg me for my forgiveness, I might reconsider myself to help you.)

{Okay, okay! White Ball is undoubtedly the most powerful being in this world! No one can rival you, so, please help this helpless host! I beg you, my mighty system!} Ryan pleading the system shamelessly.

(Hmph! It's good that you realized those facts sooner, host.) White Ball said in a gloating tone. {Take this pill. Since you beg me earnestly, I will not deduct your measly points. It's free of charge.)

{Yes, yes, White Ball. Please forgive this silly host and his rude action before. You are right, and I'm the one on the wrong side.} Ryan tried very hard to appease the system's anger. Who cares about pride? Can you eat that thing?

A pill is put in Ryan's mouth. He swallowed the pill unhesitatingly. As expected of the goods from another dimension. The effect of the pill takes place almost immediately. Ryan heaved out a relaxing breathe. His lips then curled into a mocking smirk.

Payback time.

The burly man screamed in pain when his hand is twisted into a horrifying angle. He is swiftly kicked by Ryan and crashed into a wall. The wall crumbles, and the poor man fainted on the spot.

All the men in black in the vicinity looked at Ryan with a shocking expression. They couldn't believe their eyes. How can a skinny and weak-looking man kick a person double of his weight with such ease? They thought this man cannot fight! He didn't even do any sport that required physical movement as Zhang Wei loves to play chess and any games related to brain manipulation.

Kai, who is speaking with Zhang Mian in another small room, comes out in a panicky state as he heard such miserable screams from his subordinates.

"What happen?!" He asked anxiously.

Zhang Mian also followed him out. Her beautiful face contorted into an ugly one. She couldn't believe what she saw after all.

Ryan is standing tall at the center of the room, easily suppressed two other men by himself. He saw Zhang Mian and flashed a dangerous smile towards her.

Zhang Mian felt her legs trembling for no reason. Who is this man? Is this man is Zhang Wei, the gentle-looking brother that she always despised from the bottom of her heart? How come he acted differently from her memories? The man left the mansion for only two years! In those two years, what makes him changed so much?!

Well, that's because the man is not Zhang Wei, the pitiful cannon fodder, rather, he is Ryan, the Chief Inspector Han Ryan of the Ark Metropolitan City[The name of the town in Ryan's original world]. These petty thugs? He can finish them off in five minutes, without breaking out even a drop of sweat.

"You, how can you move?! The drug is supposed to make you paralyzed for five to six hours!" Kai looked at the man in astonishment. He never saw anyone can move freely after consumed the special drugs he makes. And, it's only been two hours since Ryan drank the spiked wine. How can this be? Is he superhuman?

Two loud cracking sounds soon be heard and the two men suppressed by Ryan no longer move after that. They had fallen unconscious on the floor. Ryan dusted off imaginary dirt from his coat.

Kai could sense that the man in front of him is not someone he can mess up too, but, the dangerous glints on the opponent's eyes, it looked like the other person will not let him off the hook. So, he gestured towards his subordinates to fight him.

More than ten peoples in black suits surrounded Ryan.

Ryan not only didn't felt intimidated, he instead felt very excited. Such a thrilling feeling, how can he ignored such feeling and back down from the upcoming fight? It's been such a long time since he fights barehanded like this. His blood is boiling in vigor.

"My joint is a bit stiff, and I felt so stressed lately. I've highly appreciated you guys for becoming my punching bags for today. Thank you for the rare opportunity you guys provided for me."

{White Ball, lock the door. Don't let the person inside run out of the room.}

(...Understand, host...) The system didn't know that host is an expert in martial arts! Sometimes, the host acted as silly as a little kid, but, when he fights, his aura is more terrifying than the higher up!

Zhang Mian took the chance to run away, but, unfortunately, she couldn't open the door.

"Why I cannot open the door?!" She shrieked in fright.

Kai also tried very hard to open the door, but, he also failed. He kicked, thrashed, and slammed a chair on the damn door, but, nothing's worked! The wooden door acted like an unshakeable wall that trapping them inside the room.

"Damn it!" He cursed.

At the same time, Ryan did finished beating up Kai's subordinates in five minutes only. The bodies of those unfortunate men are lying helplessly on the floor with purplish bruises on their faces, heads, or necks.

"Why? You cannot go out?" Ryan asked with a grin on his face. He approached the two of them at a leisure pace.

Kai took something out from his back pocket and pointed the object in his hand towards Ryan.

"Don't move, or I'll shoot!"

Ryan glanced at the gun without any hint of fear. Seeing that the man did not stop, but, rather approaching them boldly, Kai fired his gun.

Bang! Bang!

Zhang Mian screamed. She had never encountered such a situation where she saw a real gun being fired to a living person, so, she felt overwhelmed seeing such a scene. She hid behind Kai while covering both of her ears.

"Tsk...tsk...What a pity. You got a very nice gun here, but, your accuracy is disappointing." Ryan suddenly appeared in front of Kai.

Kai jolted in surprise. He couldn't evade Ryan's fast attack and soon he realizes that he is on the floor, clutching his stomach in pain and coughed out a mouthful of blood.

What? What is happening? How comes a normal human attacked in a deadly fast manner? He didn't even realize he got hit!

Ryan checked the gun with interest.

"Wow, did you made the gun from pure gold? You must be so damn rich, pervert. Huh? Even the bullets are made up of gold?! Rich bastard."

Kai groaned in pain when Ryan stepped on his fingers.

"You see, I adhere to a very simple principle. Do you know the Hammurabi's?"

Kai reluctantly nodded his head as Ryan purposely stepped harder on his almost broken fingers.

"Both of you take the injection and do the deed," Ryan said in a cheerful voice. "You will do them, right?"

Zhang Mian snapped out from her frightened state.

"Older bro...brother?" Her voice is trembling.

"Do it," Ryan said again, in a voice full of malice. "Little girl, you must never encounter any hardships in your life, right? Let this brother teach you some unforgettable lessons. I am not a saint, stupid girl. I had reminded you to not cross my bottom line, but, you ignored my warning. Since you overstepping the boundary, I will double the punishment."

"Older brother, I am sorry!" Zhang Mian Wailed in distress. "Older brother...!"

Ryan injected certain drugs into their bodies. He soon tossed them both into a small room and lock the door. Ryan sat on the empty bed, admiring the gun he borrowed[stole] from Kai. He nodded his head in amazement.

Not too long after that, a muffled sobbing and ambiguous sounds could be heard from the particular small room. Ryan however, ignored the noise.

The system shuddered. This is the last time it will act cocky in front of its host. The host terrified this innocent energy ball. Ryan saw White Ball eyeing him with a terrific expression.

"What's wrong, White Ball?" He asked.

White Ball took off without saying anything. Scary! The host is scary. Oh, my poor heart!
