During lunch break, Soo Yin chose to leave the building. She wanted to get fresh air and find lunch that can restore her spirits and stamina.
Soo Yin walked to a row of restaurants not far from the hotel area. Thought of something spicy and hot. Soo Yin stepped into a shop. She read the food menu displayed in front of the entrance.
"Welcome," The waitress said in a friendly manner.
"I want the spicy one," Soo Yin said to the waitress.
When she was not excited like this, Soo Yin suddenly had an urge to eat Jjajangmyeon when she passed the restaurant that sell it.
Jajangmyeon is a food made from noodles mixed with thick black soy sauce accompanied by vegetables and pieces of meat.
Soo Yin really couldn't wait to enjoy the food.
Not long after that, the waitress delivered the order.
Seen the food in front of her, Soo Yin already wanted to enjoy it until there is nothing left. It looked so mouthwatering that she wanted to drool.
When she was about to enjoy her Jjajangmyeon, Jae-Hwa came over with a bowl for himself.
"May I join in here?" Jae-Hwa asked as he placed a bowl of Jjajangmyeon on the table. Earlier, he accidentally saw Soo Yin go to outside so Jae-hwa followed her.
"Of course," Soo Yin replied while shifting her bowl.
They enjoyed each other's food in silence. It's not good to eat while chatting.
"You don't seem excited today?" Jae-Hwa said while looking at the girl in front of her. Since morning he has been observing Soo Yin even from a distance.
Soo Yin drank one bottle of mineral water until it ran out then let out a long sigh.
"Is there any problem?" Jae-Hwa asked curiously.
"I'm just thinking about my father," Soo Yin replied. Her eyes were far away remembering Kim Nam who had boarded the ship yesterday.
"What's wrong with your father? Did something happen?" Jae-Hwa asked anxiously.
Soo Yin shook her head softly.
"My father went to Jeju island," Soo Yin answered as she lowered her head.
"Really?" Jae-Hwa was very shocked to hear that Kim Nam left Soo Yin in Seoul. He could felt the sadness that Soo Yin was going through. Every child will be very sad to be separated from their parents. Moreover, she only lived alone.
Soo Yin just nodded languidly. Every time she remembered being away from his father, tears continued to pool in her eyelids.
"Sorry, for making you sad. I'm sure there's a reason why your father should go." Jae-Hwa said, feeling sorry but he didn't know what to do.
"Today let me treat," Jae-Hwa said, tried to change the subject.
"Really? Looks like you have enough money?" Soo Yin said, felt a little happy to hear that Jae-Hwa will pay for the meal.
"As an apology for not watching movie yesterday," Jae-Hwa said with a smile.
"Huh, right. You do have to compensate because you made me watch a movie alone. Just imagine how it felt like I watched a horror movie by myself, it really gave me goosebumps." Soo Yin recalled how shocked he was when Dae Hyun suddenly was beside him.
"Once again, I'm so sorry." Jae-Hwa said earnestly.
"Once again, I'm so sorry." said Jae-hwa earnestly.
"Since you already treated me, I'll forgive you," Soo Yin said with a giggle.
They immediately returned to the hotel to work because lunch time was almost over.
Soo Yin felt a little better, it turned out that eating a free bowl of Jjajangmyeon put her in a good mood.
