Aaron was right. He hadn't been able to fall asleep. He did try, but he couldn't. The brown canine sighed. No matter what he tried everything seemed wrong. His heart wouldn't stop pacing. Everything felt wrong. He sighed and sat up in his bed. Aaron turned around and quietly grabbed his phone and charger before opening his window. He hopped out and closed it behind him and then quickly made his way to Blake's place.

Aaron arrived and knocked on his friend's window.

"Who's there?" Blake's voice rang from inside the house.

"It's me. Aaron" he barked, putting his face up to the window. His orange friend came to the glass barrier and opened it up. Aaron climbed in the window and gave his friend a hug.

"What happened to going to sleep?" He asked, smirking. Blake returned the hug, and pulled away from him after about 3 seconds.

"I couldn't sleep.. I just want to hang out and get my mind off things, ya know?" Aaron responded, awkwardly smiling

"Hey man, I get it. So what do you want to do?" Blake asked.

"Walk around town and find something to do?"

"Eh.... is it safe to go outside right now? After those guys attacked?"

"No one attacked me on my way over. It's probably safe."

Blake looked unsure but nodded. "Let's go"

"Alright!" Called Aaron as he jumped out the still open window.

"We could have walked out the door but I love your style!" Blake shouted, following after his friend. The two walked through the town, chatting and looking in stores.

"Do you think I could successfully rob a convenient store?" Aaron asked his friend as they passed one.

"Yes do it." Blake said, smirking.

"Alright. I'll go get us some snacks." The small brown wolf borked quietly, barely holding in giggles. He then walked into the store and after about 10 minutes of panicking, procrastinating, and crimes, he came back outside. "No bro they didn't have it" Aaron barked loudly, and started walking away quickly. Blake chuckled and followed. Aaron lead the way into a dimly lit alleyway and pulled out a bag of chips and a bag of gummies.

"Nice!" Blake barked, cackling. Aaron smiled and opened up the snacks before they started eating them up. The best friends continued to eat and laugh for a while. Both of them were happier around each other as their stress seemed to melt away.
