Chapter 345: The Days Are Changing

The Butler laughed, just about to speak, when laughter sounded from outside. "Hahahaha, John Fame, are you afraid Lissy Lock will ride you over the head?"

"Mr. Piers."

Kai Piers strode in, waving around a bottle of red wine. "I grabbed a nice bottle from the winery. By the way, your car is really nice. I drove it a few times today and was quite satisfied."

Seeing this, the butler immediately fetched wine glasses and waved away the servants, leaving the two men plenty of space.

John Fame poured himself a glass, and looking at the deep red liquid inside, his lips curved slightly. "Ever since Aurora Dupont arrived last night, your mood has been quite high, right?"

"Of course. If you suddenly found out that Lissy Lock actually loves you, but she just doesn't say it, wouldn't you be excited?"

John Fame scoffed, "We've separated."

"Oh, so you really fought to that extent?"

"Yes. But I've figured out that from beginning to end, it was all Walter Smith's doing."
