Chapter 55

Nuffink Pov:

I don't know why but everyone else but Zephyr and me seems tense. An whenever we ask they just dodge the question so me and Zephyr decided to ask dad. We go up to him as he is manning the helm with a stern, angry, glare.

"Dad, why is everyone so tense?" Zephyr asks him and he does not hear but mom does and taps his shoulder and he jerks out of his trance. "Sorry what?" He asks so Zephyr repeats the question.

"It is because of something that we learned and we need to get back now. I fear what has happened while we were gone." He says in a scared tone. Just what did he find out from those hunters he killed. I know that they did not want us to know but it is pretty obvious since mom was covered in blood and those men disappeared after crys of mercy.

Narrator Pov:

Lets see what is happening back at New berk. As the mysterious figure looks out from his boat he sees an impenetrable island. It cannot be attacked by boats in any way. You literally have to climb up thousands of feet just to attack.

As he looks around he sees a fisherman ship with 2 figures. One is short with a big scruffy beard and the other is tall and strong with a bucket on his head. At this he gets an Idea and orders his men to take the boat.

After they commendeer the vessel Ryker walks on board and corners the fishermen. "Where is Hiccup haddock?" He asks and at this the one with the beard says. "Why should we answer you and who is this Hiccup haddock?"

At this Ryker is taken a back and then says. "Are you or are you not his fishermen?" At this they look at each other before saying. "No, we are the fishermen of the principle Scribbler." It is an honest saying but Ryker does not care but uses it to his advantage. He has never met this person before but he may know hiccup.

"Take us to him." He says and he has his men go below deck so they can take whatever is needed to get in.

Several days later

Hiccup Pov:

We are almost in range of the island so I go and make sure that the kids are safe. After I check on them I go up to the deck and find Thorfinn. He has never been seen by Ryker so he can infiltrate due to his past.

He also has a few friends on the island that can help. Whenever they see trouble they go into hiding and attack at a moments notice. They do that to disrupt the enemy and gain the upper hand. The people that I am talking about are his wife Gudrid, his friend Einar, Hild, Ylva, and Bugeyes.

If there is trouble they will be there waiting. When I get to him he looks at me with a knowing look and says. "Out with it." He knows me to well. "I was wondering if you were up for some infiltration." I say cheerily.

"Sure, I guess that you are going to go into your dragon form, right, and then take me to the island above the clouds to the holiday district." He replys. "Yeah, you really know me to well." I say and transform.

"Come on." I say and he hops on. Then from there without listening to see if anyone else said something we take off. We climb up to the top of the clouds and go as quietly as possible to the island and I take a look around and notice that it is day. An thats bad because we could be seen.

As I am flying towards the island the cloud cover opens up. From there we can see a bunch of Hunter ships below the docks. Looking around I then see that everybody is chained outside in this weather and I do not like it. From the looks of things they subjugated every village and are looking out at the horizon for us.

I go around the island and realize that they have people all around the edges of the island looking for us. I also see that they can't get into the library. I look for a safe place to land and realize that the only place guards are not is the holiday district and the nature side.

From what I know Ryker knows that I would not land in the Holiday district. Reason being is I would suspect people being there for an ambush so I would go to the nature area. But he knows, that I know, that I will not go to the nature area knowing he will have set up the ambush there so it will be in the holiday area.

I don't know if Ryker knows about my dragon form so in the end I decide to land somewhere else. Reason for that is judging by the amount of men he will have ambushes in both places. I look around and notice that it is almost night so I continue above cloud cover till midnight.

At Midnight I go to the cliffs by the library. Once scribbler realized that Ryker was trying to get in he would activate the emergency system. That system drops boulders and Gronckle Iron bars and plates in front of all the entrances except for one. That one being the cliff entrance. It has an impossible overhang to climb to and the one above goes out even farther. Basically imagine a hole going upwards with nothing beneath it and walls Smoother than a Gronkle Iron Plate.

I head down and up to gracefully land with Thorfinn clad in Midnight black gear. When we land we are immediately held down by the people there not knowing who is was. At that I growl softly and Thorfinn says. "Its us." Once they here that they back off.

"Sorry, we thought the invaders had finally managed to get in, do you know who they are?" Scribbler questions. "Yes, an old enemy, Ryker." I say and at that, Viggo, who had been on the side gasped.

"That's not possible, we both know he got eaten by a Submaripper." He says and to that I respond. "Just because he went under does not mean that he was eaten. I will be going back to the ship. Take out as many men as you can and try to free up our hidden dock. They did not find it though I do not know how long it will be." I say as I leave.
