Chapter 19

Hiccup Pov:

It was the First day of School and as usual Mutism was up earliest training. It was 6:00 and Scribbler was reading, Dagur was still sleeping.

 I get ready for the day and train a little. At 6:30 I head to breakfast, I have a normal breakfast of bread and milk. I go back when I am finished and get ready for Sword Training. The class opens at 7:00 and we have to be there at 7:10. We have 10 minutes in the beginning of each class to get ready.

 For Sword Fighting we have to arrive in our gear if we brought any. I was in my armor with my Sword and Shield, Dagur had his armor on that I repaired along with a berserker axe, all Mutism had was his Sword.

 The teacher was the Headmaster Askeladd and he started off with basic forms. From there if anyone was ahead he would give them more complicated things till later. By the end of class we were all tired.

 The next thing I did was go to Study/History with Scribbler. It was the basic stuff. After that I went to lunch and we just chilled.

 After lunch I went to the Forge class with a few others. Since I was pretty experienced in it I was the teacher Magna's, helper/assistant. We started off with the basics like all the other classes.

 After most of the class Magna told us what we were doing tomorrow. "You are to create a basic tool of your choice and you can't ask Hiccup to create it for you. Though if he allows it you can use his forge." From that I respond. "I am ok with it, just ask first." and that was Forgery finished.

 I head to Hand to Hand Combat with Mutism.

When we arrive we find out that the teacher is Bjørn. We learn the basics and start sparring. We continue until the end of the class and then I go to maces and talons.

 The teacher was a guy called Viggo Grimborn. When we got there he was seated at a table and said. "I want to test your skill. So if you want you can work together or alone and I want you to try and beat me."

 At this Dagur starts and loses quickly and from there a bunch of people go and they all lose. "At least give me a challenge." Viggo says.

 Scribbler goes up and he lasts twice as long as everyone else but still loses in the end. Since everyone lost I say. "My turn." As I walk up Viggo looks at me and he seems to think I won't last as long as Scribbler.

 We start off and It starts to get competitive. We each have around half our hunters left when I land the final blow winning shocking Viggo. "I am impressed that you managed to beat me, Who are you again?" He says.

 "My name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third." I say and then he goes on with the class. We learn the meaning of it and other stuff. He then gives us rule books at the end of class.

 "If you go into the closet in your dorm or the game closet in the main hall you will find Maces and Talons boards. Practice I want to see if you can beat me tomorrow. You will not get more than 60% grade unless you can beat me." Viggo says as we leave.

 As we head to lunch Everyone is pestering me on tips and Dagur says. "Brother, tell me what did you do." Trying to figure it out. "Easy, practice and knowledge. Also he was going easy since he needed to set a limit. If he was going all out I would not have won." I say to Dagur and everyone was shocked.

 The day finishes and when we get to the dorm Mutism asks me. "I was wondering since you have made custom armor before but can you make weighted training clothes?"

 I am a little stumped but. "Yeah I can try." I say to him and his response is. "Then I will give you a set of them. When can you start?"

 Looking at my Schedule I say. "Probably next weekend. Ok." He does not look surprised. "Yeah." He says and we all go and hit the hay when Dagur asks. "Can you wake me up early so I can practice Maces and Talons with you."

 Since I don't want to and I know someone who could also help I say. "Scribbler, do you think you could coach Dagur on Maces and Talons." He looks a bit surprised but says. "Sure what time?"

 Dagur Replies this time and says. "Tomorrow morning and Lunch." He starts to rant and I feel sorry for Scribbler now.

 The first day was great but I can't wait till tomorrow.
