1 HH System

I felt lighter than usual, my body felt smaller and out of place, something seemed to bug me about it.

I was half-awake and half-sleep, having worked hard the day before on a project with a friend, I had very slept late... Like 5 am... You see the deadline was close and as a new college graduate, the project meant a lot for the future.

I ignored the strange feeling about my body and stretched my hands, feeling slightly annoyed at the sunlight that had awakened me. I opened my eyes and instantly closed them again, the room was too bright.

I was confused, 'My room is never this bright early morning!' I thought. Then something occurred to me, 'And my bed is not big enough for me to stretch like that! The smell is also different, my room had no scent but I can sense the scent of roses...'

I opened my eyes again quickly, feeling very confused, thankfully they had adjusted to the room a little. I saw a totally unfamiliar room, it was very big, like something straight out of a fantasy.

The bed was like the ones people saw in movies, the ones that royalty used in medieval movies. I looked a little closer with wide eyes and saw designs and decorations on everything visible, from the bed to the walls.

Everything screamed of luxury!

I moved to the edge of the bed to get a better look, a giant mirror was on one side of the room, a balcony that let the sunlight in was on the other side and all sorts of art pieces were around... I was shocked by everything, totally mesmerized and confused by the surroundings.

It took me a moment for my mind to start working again, 'What the hell is going on?!! Is this like a dream?' I wondered and pinched my shoulder while still observing the room.

The pinch hurt... Everything seemed so real... I realized, 'This can't be a dream, impossible. What is going on?'

I decided to get off the bed but the moment I looked down and saw my legs, I froze, 'These are not my legs!'

They looked slender and without hair, very feminine. I quickly looked at my hands and noticed it was the same, these were not my hands, neither a man's, they were too delicate and feminine looking.

I stood up and observed my body closely with an expression that screamed of confusion, 'What The...'

I was totally taken aback. I was wearing some sort of very expensive-looking black nightclothes. I noticed two small protrusions on my chest and instantly came to a doubtless realization, 'This is a girl's body, 100%...'

Without delay, I walked in front of the mirror, and my eyes widened in shock. Green eyes looked back at me. The figure in the mirror was without a doubt extremely beautiful and... half-naked.

I moved my hand around and the figure did it as well, erasing any doubt I had. The figure was me. I had somehow found myself in a different body in a foreign room.

I gulped nervously and felt a panic attack coming. I closed my eyes and took several deep breaths to calm down, 'Panicking won't help... Stay Calm... Stay Calm... Stay Calm...'

I had read enough stories to know what it meant, 'I transmigrated here... But how? I was alive and well... Don't tell me I worked so hard I died in my sleep?! Not possible... Did some entity put me here? But why? There is so much unknown... What am I supposed to do?!'

I was thinking as fast as I could as I observed the figure closely. I stretched my hand forward to touch the mirror, the reflection mimicked the movement obviously. The moment my finger touched the mirror, something strange happened.

Green lights slowly came to life from that point in the mirror and moved around till they shaped themselves into words around the reflection in the mirror.

A set of words took shape above my reflection in the mirror, 'Lina Pergrand? That must be this body's name...'

I looked up and didn't see any words, 'It seems to only be visible in the mirror, is this my cheat or something?'

The lights continued moving around in the mirror until sentences began forming.

I read them with raised eyebrows, 'This is the HH System(Human Harem System). You are and shall be the 1st and last host of this system. This system was created to help the host get a human harem of chosen gender. Are you attracted to Male or Female?'

I found the situation bizarre and ridiculous but I continued to read on as I thought, 'Obviously female... A harem system of all systems?! Should I laugh in joy or cry in anger? These types of systems are the worst...'

It reacted to my thoughts, 'Searching for a target that meets the host's criteria... 1st Target found. Generating Shop per universal law... Completed. Generating the starting gift... a gift has been generated. Making each target fall in love with you shall give you 1 Shard that can be used in the Shop.'

I realized, 'I can control it with my mind, huh? Shop? Interesting...'

The words then all suddenly morphed into something else, 'Proceed to the Menu?'

I mentally thought, 'Yes.'

And then the lights made a menu in the mirror, it looked simple yet elegant.

I saw the inventory seemed to have something inside and thus mentally thought of opening it, it opened instantly. There were dozens of empty rows like any other inventory in a video game, only 1 thing was there.

'Starter Gift?' I saw the box and opened it mentally.

An alert popped in the mirror and vanished after 5 seconds.

[Blessing of grand magic power has been granted.]

I instantly felt something warm yet strong rush around in my body, it gave me goosebumps. It was like some sort of energy, I felt powerful...

I noticed my reflection beginning to get surrounded by a green glow. As the energy moved around in my body, the room began to shake a little.

I was taken aback by the situation, I tried calming it down but it didn't work. It was as if a dam had been broken and magic power poured out of control.

The green glow intensified, my long black hair began fluttering as a strong wind was generated due to the intense aura. The room began shaking fiercely and cracks appeared on the walls.

I looked at the mirror and noticed that even the eyes had begun to glow with power. Everything seemed to have gone crazy. Some sort of sound constantly echoed in the room, it was bizarre as if everything was under pressure.

The ground began cracking beneath me and my body began floating, I was panicking. Some small rocks caused by the cracks began floating up as well. The glow was so intense, my face was not visible anymore, only two green glowing eyes of a figure surrounded by a shining intense aura were visible.

As all this was happening outside, my body was feeling extremely comfortable as the rush of power gave me goosebumps.

Just as I thought the room was going to be destroyed, it began calming down. It seemed to have reached its peak and began slowing down and retreating to somewhere in my chest.

It vanished in mere seconds, leaving me stunned. As if it had not recked havoc in the room.

I could feel it all somewhere in my chest, I tried to summon it again and felt it moving again. I realized I could control it and summon that power back immediately so I stopped myself before I accidentally destroyed the room.

I took a few seconds to calm myself and my heart that was beating like crazy...

'It seems that this is a world with magic and wizards, I got a gift that gives me strong magic power, probably.'

I looked back at the mirror and decided to see what status and shop had but a voice interrupted me.

"The source of that magic power came from the princess's room! Hurry!" I heard from outside the only door in the room.

A moment later, the door was broken by the guards and they swarmed the room, all armed and ready to fight.

I was not surprised, 'Judging from the room, the previous owner of this body must have been someone important... They said, princess... I see...'

The guards saw that nobody was in the room but me, for some reason they instantly turned around, the one that seemed to be in charge seemed to grow pale as he quickly kneeled without daring to look up.

"We apologize for barging in the room, we thought you were in danger due to the intense magic power. We didn't mean any disrespect, princess."

I nodded, 'Well, it is obvious. Why are they panicking though?' I was confused why but when I looked back in the mirror, I realized why.

'I am half-naked... I guess a royal would punish these people for that... or even kill them... but they are only doing their job... Should I act like a royal?' I thought about what to do for a few seconds before sighing.

"Get out, now," I said, trying to sound a little angry. My voice surprised me, it sounded ethereal and smooth. I decided to ignore that fact...

The guards vanished from the room in an instant. I turned to look at the mirror, 'It seems I can interact with the system only by using a mirror. That's a dangerous limit...'

I quickly tapped on the mirror and the system menu came back.

I opened status.

I quickly realized many facts looking at the status window, "I am weak as fuck physically... It seems I can't increase my power by points, I probably have to train for that. The starter gift boosted my magic power to S-Class but I have no magic, I need to learn one. All the clues from Earthland to Erza basically confirm I am in Fairy Tail... And these titles..."

I stopped murmuring and sighed, 'A helpless little princess... There is a possibility that she committed suicide or something and thus I transmigrated here... I need to run away, there might be some arranged marriage stuff but before that, I need to learn magic to at least protect myself...'

Looking at the target made my head began aching, 'How am I supposed to make Erza fall in love with me? My body is that of a girl and she was in love with Jellal in the series... She likes boys... This is going to be very difficult... Why couldn't I have gotten a gamer system or something?!'

I sighed and decided to focus on what mattered at the moment, 'No use complaining, it is what it is, I need to take advantage of what I have. I wonder what a shard can buy me...'

I opened Shop and browsed through what there was...

I browsed with wide eyes, it had any power or item I could think of, from swords to armor, etc.

'Even 1 shard is plenty strong! If I can make Erza fall in love with me, I can become immortal or take shapeshift and be whatever I want to... like becoming a giant dragon! This system is great... However, this doesn't change the fact that it is very difficult to do so...'

I walked away from the mirror with a complicated expression, 'Yesterday I was working on a project in my apartment and now I am in a girl's body with a harem system in a fictional world... How unpredictable life truly is. This feels so ridiculous.'

I walked to the balcony and watched the view with awe, the view was magnificent. The room was the highest level of a palace on top of a small mountain surrounded by a giant lively city.

I looked at the view for a few minutes, I thought about everything and how crazy it all was. The series of events had me shocked to the point I felt numb about it.

I looked at my body, I had been distracted from the fact that I was in a girl's body due to the system, the system was the bigger deal for me.

I could only sigh.

Being in a girl's body made me feel strange and distressed. I tried to shrug it off and looked at the distance.

After a while, looking at the insignificant and tiny humans from above made me feel how insignificant and tiny I was.

'It doesn't matter if I am a man or woman in body, it is fine as long as I know what I am in the soul. If I can just blast this city out of this world with a spell, will it matter what I am? I have S-Class magic power so achieving that should be possible... Besides, there is shapeshift for 1 shard so I can become a man again, not all hope is lost.'

I took a deep breath and gathered my determination, 'If I want to survive and enjoy life in this wonderful world, I have to accept and adapt as fast as possible... I have to be smart.'

I looked at my hand and it felt weird to me, I shook my head, 'I may never be able to accept this ridiculous situation... However, I know what must be done.'

I turned around and headed for the big closet that had many cracks in it due to the magical incident of before, '1st I need to get dressed, somehow... 2nd, get used to this body... 3rd, gather info, train and learn magic... 4th, get the hell out of here when I am confident enough... 5th, go to Fiore...'

And thus I ignored everything and only focused on those steps. Had I adapted or accepted anything? No. But I knew that hesitation would do me no good so I firmly decided to do something at least.

Thus I tackled the 1st challenge, getting dressed...
