TH

Takamura Hayato is my name.

I appear as normal boy in my teens.

I only stands 175 cm tall, which is somewhere average with boys my age.

My family situation is much worse than most. My grandparents disowned my mother, and my father was caught cheating and left us for another woman.

Raised by a single mother, who is quite a handful at times. Gambling addict, alcoholic, smoking addict, and etc.

Still she never fails to bring food on the table and raise me properly on her own. She was a famous Creator and one of the greatest there is in Japan.

She trained and raised me in a different way than other kids. She was knowledgeable on many things, skilled, and abilities.

She imparted imparted me with it and raised me. Which made me to what I am now.

I intend to become like her someday, that is my dream.

And for that reason, I had chosen to enter a certain school in Tokyo.

With my mobile phone in my hands, I played a certain online RPG game. Wearing earphones in each side, I was focused on playing while inside the bus.

Several minutes later, I slain the boss with 0 damage on my HP bar.

"And there we go... That's quite easy." I said those words defeating a Raid Boss solo without breaking a sweat.

In the screen, a large words lined up in it [VICTORY!].

I have several other players I partied with raiding the boss, but they were all wiped out. I have to fight the boss solo in its last health bar.

I removed the earphones and put my mobile phone in my pocket. I found out that the bus just become cramped from when I first entered.

"Hey, you there. Can't you see that this elderly woman is having trouble?"

Hm?

I looked over in front of me, a couple of meters away. I saw a blonde haired guy sitting on the priority seats, for the pregnant and the elderly.

An office lady in her working suit scold the blonde guy for sitting over there. But the blonde guy doesn't budge and go about an argument over it.

Technically he wasn't breaking any law, that I know of... And even if he did, he looked like a rich kid to bribe his freedom back. Perks of people with a rich background.

I see him quite familiar so I searched it up on the internet. And I finally understand why.

Kouenji Rokusuke. The sole male heir of the Kouenji conglomerate group. It was posted in their website for the world to know.

I got the impression that they aren't afraid if a kidnapping would happen if they had the courage to post his image in their website.

Eventually the office lady had given up, not winning a single argument over the blonde guy.

Seeing this, I can't possibly leave it at this. My grandfather had pounded in my head time and time again the teachings he taught me.

Ha didn't taught me Martial Arts, but many things. One of them is to respect the elders.

"You can have mine."

I offered up my seat.

"Really?"

"Thank you young man."

The office lady and the elder woman seems grateful for that.

"Don't mind it."

I stood up and let the elder woman seat. It seems it relieved her back.

I noticed the blonde haired guy glance at me with a smile in his face. Honestly it ticked me off a little, but I didn't throw it out of my mind. A poor boy like me, going against the heir of a rich kid is asking for hell.

As I got off the bus, I saw a gate formed from natural rock waiting just ahead. All the young boys and girls dressed in school uniforms were passing through this gate.

The Japanese government had created the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School with the express purpose of developing future leaders. This would be my school from now on.

Today I'm going to attend the Kodou Ikuse High School. A Japanese government sponsored school to nurture the young people who will support the country in the future. It boasts a 100% employment and college entry rate, and with thorough, state-directed teaching methods, it spares no effort in pursuing the nation's desired future.

I don't really have interest in going to University, or anything the school offered after graduation. I only go to this school since it was free.

My family isn't exactly poor, but we're not well off either. But since I was a good for nothing for the past several years, I decided to attend a school where they don't have to worry them and become independent.

I just tested my luck, that if by chance I get accepted I could alleviate them some of the expenses.

And this brings to what I am today, wearing the red blazer uniform issued by the school.

No one likes standing in the entrance ceremony.

But I am trained doing stances for hours, standing leisurely like this is fine.

Soon after the principal's long winded speech, I went to my classroom. In the classroom a sign was placed there.

Class 1-D

I suppose I'm in the class of D for Defectives, if the school sorted out their students by competence with Class A being the cream of the crop. I wonder how smart the Class-A is?

I mean if they're much better in academics than me, then I'm truly surprised. I always topped in kindergarten until middle school. And in the entrance exam, I answered every question perfectly. Even the super hard University level questions in the mix.

Maybe in the interview, I said something they didn't like? Or maybe this school doesn't just evaluate students by academics alone? The latter seems to be most likely true.

I went inside and found out the classroom is halfway filled with students. The others were either immersed in their class materials or already talking with other people.

I didn't gather any attention so I went to my desk that bore my nameplate. I get my school issued smartphone and started playing games with it.

I am not particularly unsociable or the outgoing and friendly type. Even in middle school, I don't stand out that much. They just saw me as a student who is very smart and good in sports, nothing more nothing less.

In the middle of playing, I noticed the blonde guy in the bus sitting in a desk. Unfortunately it seems he's going to be my classmate.

I lost interest in the game I'm playing, so I quickly ended it my fingers ran across the phone screen like a well oiled machine to quickly finish it.

[VICTORY]

Another win.

I put my smartphone in my pocket and opened my textbook and started skimming through them. I got through all of them, and I got a good grasp of the lessons this incoming midterms.

A few minutes later the bell rang.

At that precise moment, a woman entered the classroom. When I first saw her, my initial impression was that she firmly believed in discipline. If I had to guess, I would have placed her age at thirty. She wore a suit and had delicate features. Her hair seemed long, and she'd tied it into a ponytail.

"Ahem. Good morning to you, students. I'm the instructor for Class D. My name is Chiyabashira Sae. I usually teach Japanese history. However, at this school, we do not change classrooms for each grade. For the next three years, I will be acting as your homeroom teacher, so I hope to get to know all of you. It's a pleasure to meet you. The entrance ceremony will be in the gymnasium one hour from now, but first, I will distribute written materials with information about this school's special rules. I will also hand out the admissions guide."

The students from the front seat passed back some documents to the back after getting one.

I read on the documents. This school is different from other schools.

Forbidden contact of outside with a few exceptions. Required to live in the dormitories. Leaving in the school grounds is strictly forbidden... yadda yadda...

"I will now hand out your student ID cards. By using your card, you can access any of the facilities on campus, purchase goods from the store, and so on. It acts like a credit card. However, it is imperative that you pay attention to the points that you spend. At this school, you can use your points to buy anything. Anything located on the school premises is available for purchase." The teacher distributed our I.D. Cards.

Apparently we can use them by swiping them on a machine scanner. Points are automatically deposited into your account on the first of every month.

I looked into my balance and found out a 100,000 points in it. The moment I saw it, the classroom erupted to cheers.

Apparently they should have misunderstood that we will get 100,000 points per month without any confirmation by the teacher. And the teacher looks amused, like how she's mocking on how idiots we are.

Right, she's definitely a sadist type.

"Shocked by the amount of points you've been given? This school evaluates its students' talents. Everyone here has passed the entrance examination, which itself speaks to your value and potential. The amount you've received reflects the evaluation of your worth. You can use your points without restraint. After graduation, however, all of your points return to the school. Because it's impossible to exchange your points for cash, there's no advantage to saving them. Once points have been deposited into your account, it's up to you how to spend them. Do as you like. In the event that you don't want to spend your points, you may transfer them to someone else. However, extorting money from your peers is not allowed. This school monitors bullying very carefully." The teacher looked around the class if there are still any questions, but no one asked.

This teacher's choice of words are really sadistic... People will misunderstood the 'You can use your points without restraint'.

Anyway it's not my problem if they misunderstood. Experience is the greatest teacher, and the fastest way of levelling up.

In Life you gain experience points more in failure, than success... Or was it the other way around? I dunno...

"Well, it appears no one has any questions. I hope that you enjoy your time here as students." And she left.

Many of my classmates couldn't hide their excitement by the huge sum of points. They really looked like children who got themselves a new toy.

I guess that's natural.

For me, I had once won a national shogi tournament with a prize money of 1,000,000 yen. So it was not quite shocking for me compared to them.

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
