11 The Incident at the Beach Party

Hours have passed and the party began. The beach was decorated with torches and some lights making it look like a luau. There was a long table filled with different kinds of food and drinks. There were many people but all were familiar since it was a party organized for the people from her school.

"How about you all hang out with the girls? It's a beach party after all, I think you should have fun with them." Alice suggested.

"What about you and Mark?" Matthew asked worriedly

"We'll be fine," Alice answered as she waved her hand lazily telling them to leave.

Alice and Mark were left there in awkward silence. Alice was the first to break it "Shouldn't you go look for a girl?" she asked him.

"Hey I'm still trying to recover from last time," he answered.

Alice grimaced at her stupid question "Oh right," she then laughed at the awkward situation. From across the crowd, Alice saw someone glaring at her. Good timing.

"Hey Tiffany," she smirked. Mark suddenly looked at her with a dumbfounded look on his face. Tiffany ignored Alice.

"If you don't go near here I'll tell everyone your secret," Alice said rather too loudly causing Tiffany to rush towards her.

"Hello," Tiffany greeted bitterly.

"Whatever," from beside Alice, Mark chuckled. He knew Alice just wanted to mess with Tiffany despite having no intention of telling anyone else about the incident. "Hey Tiffany," Mark greeted.

"Hi there Mark!" Tiffany eyed Mark, she then turned to the side and bit her lip. Alice looks at her in disgust.

"Hey Tiffy, please be nice and go get drinks for me and Mark." Alice ordered.

"Why would I?" she asked angrily.

Alice grinned as she leaned onto Mark's shoulder. "I could do this all night,"

"Fine, I'll go get some!" Tiffany groaned as she walked away.

"I'm impressed, she's in your control but don't you ever use me against her again." Mark grunted.

"You're my secret weapon Mark, but don't worry I won't do that again. I won't stoop that low again, even though it's Tiffany I still won't mess with love."

"What are you talking about?"

"If you and Tiffany ever end up together, I'll accept it since I'm just that type of person." Alice bit off a snicker.

"Shut up," Mark hissed.

Meanwhile, Tiffany was at the drink stand. "Stupid Alice! I'll get revenge soon, you'll see!" she cursed. She took two tall glasses

"Don't drink alcohol, it's for the adults," the guy guarding the drink stand reminded.

An idea suddenly struck Tiffany, she filled one glass with cola and she poured a bit of cola on the other glass. While the guard was busy talking with some other people she took the chance and filled the rest of the glass with vodka.

"Alice will surely get drunk," she laughed to herself.

She then returned to see Alice and Mark. Tiffany made sure to hand Alice the spiked cola, once she was sure, she left. "What if she poisoned my drink?" Alice wondered.

"She wouldn't, someone's guarding the drink stand." Mark chuckled as he drank from the glass.

Alice eyed him. "Are you feeling weird yet? I'm sure she added love potion in there,"

Mark laughed. "Very funny," he sarcastically said.

Alice drank from her glass, she stopped after taking the first gulp. "Tastes weird," but she shrugged it off and continued drinking.

"Tiffany, get me more of this drink." Alice called out, to her surprise Tiffany did it without arguing with her. This repeated multiple times until Alice already had her fifth glass. Mark had his suspicions but he chose to talk to Alice about it later. She's having fun messing with Tiffany after all.

Soon Alice started getting woozy, Mark got worried and asked her if she was okay. She looked at him and blinked a couple of times "You look hot," she said bluntly.

"What?" Mark exclaimed. To his surprise Alice leaned towards him as if she was going to kiss him!

Mark pushed her away. "What's your problem?" he asked

"Aaw.. How rude of yer…" she slurred.

Mark leaned closer and his nose wrinkled. "You reek,"

"You're so mean, first you reject my kiss and now you insult me." she pouted, to Mark's luck Josh and Alex happened to pass by.

"Hey, you two having fun?" they asked.

"Yay, more hot guys!" Alice clapped.

"What?" the two had the same reaction as Mark.

Mark could only sigh, "She's drunk."

"How?" Josh asked.

"Tiffany gave us our drinks," Mark said as he pointed Alice's glass, Alex grabbed it and sniffed it. "It's vodka," he said.

"How come she didn't notice?" Josh asked.

"Alice is Alice," Mark shrugged. "She had three glasses and didn't even suspect Tiffany for being so obedient."

"Quick! We have to bring her back to the ship, if someone finds out she'll be in trouble." Alex said. Mark and Josh each grabbed Alice's arms and Alex pushed her back.

Soon they were back at the ship, "Where we going???" Alice slurred. To their shock they saw one of their teachers from across the hall they decided to run as fast as they can. They found themselves at Josh and Lance's room. Josh closed the door.

"That was fun!" Alice giggled as she twirled around the room, then she saw Josh, she went near him. "I have a secret to tell you," she whispered. Alice went near Josh's ear only to end up biting him.

"Ouch!" he groaned

"Wasn't that sexy?" Alice smiled playfully. Josh almost died in embarrassment. Alice is so different right now.

"Hi Alex," she went near him, she clutched his shirt. "Y-your shirt," she said in amazement. "It's soooo yellow!" she said as she pulled it causing both of them to fall on the floor with a loud thud, they both landed next to each other. Alice winced in pain since her head landed first, while on the other hand, Alex fell on his shoulder so he immediately stood up.

"I can't get up," she whined.

Mark sighed as he pulled Alice up, he then pushed her onto Josh's bed. "Ouch. How rude of you Mark." she murmured into the pillow.

"Now we just have to keep an eye on her to get her out of trouble," Mark said.

"I want to go out! It's so boring here!" Alice whined once more.

"Will you please shut up?!" Mark was beginning to lose his patience. Regular Alice is already annoying for him, drunk Alice is a huge pain in the neck.

"You're so mean," she pouted as she tried to get up.

"Just go to sleep will you!" Mark ordered.

"I don't want to!"

"Another fight," Josh and Alex sighed. Mark went near Alice and kept her from going out of the bed by pushing her shoulders down.

"Keep still!" Alice squirmed from his grip. "Stay still or else!" he warned.

Alice smirked. "Or what? You'll kiss me?" she laughed. "As if you be able to do th—" she was cut off because Mark actually kissed her! Her eyes widened in shock, the same with Josh and Alex but they had matching jaw drops.

Seconds later Mark finished the kiss. "Now you can finally shut up," he said. Alice looked at him she blinked numerous times before she sat up on her bed.

To their dismay, she turned to the side and threw up. She wiped her mouth with her sleeve then she landed back on the bed with her eyes closed. "So, dizzy." she muttered.

"That's... offensive," Mark said after a few moments of awkward silence.

Alex and Josh burst out laughing. "She vomited after you kissed her! Are you really a bad kisser Mark?" Alex said in between laughs.

"Yeah, good thing she didn't throw up in your mouth." Josh mocked.

"She was drunk, I was expecting her to throw up anytime." Mark explained.

"Yeah but the timing was epic!" Alex was literally rolling on the floor laughing.

"Oh shut up," Mark said in embarrassment.

"You should clean that, it'll stink the whole room." he pointed out Alice's 'souvenir' for them.

"I know, I know." Mark said as he wiped the mess.

"This is hilarious. It made my day!" Alex chortled.

"Shut up or I'll shove this rag in your throats," Mark threatened. Josh and Alex kept silent for the next minutes, they know what their friend is capable of.

"Hey, where were you?" Gerald asked as he Lance, Vincent, and Matthew entered the room.

"We went back early," Josh explained.

"Why?" Matthew asked. Mark pointed the sleeping figure on the bed

"Her," he groaned.

"She fell asleep?" Vincent asked.

"No, she got drunk." Alex sighed.

"Did she drink alcohol?" Vincent asked again.

"No, she drank cola and got drunk." Alex rolled his eyes. Vincent grinned sheepishly in embarrassment.

"But how? She's just a minor." Gerald asked.

"It's Tiffany. Alice ordered her to get out drinks. She must've added vodka into Alice's drink." Mark scratched his head.

"I think we should really report her but Alice is the one who doesn't want to," Lance sighed.

"What did we miss? I really want to know how Alice acted while she's drunk." Matthew asked.

Mark instantly slapped his forehead and the other two with him laughed. "It was really funny," Josh told them.

"Alice was like a seductive creep, she bit Josh's ear, she thought my shirt was so yellow and we fell on the floor together, and she provoked Mark to kiss her." Alex laughed as if it was a normal thing. Everyone's jaw dropped.

"You could've just told them Mark's part," Josh groaned.

"You are an idiot," Mark glared. Alex realized his mistake and he just scratched his head in disbelief.

"Mark and Alice kissed?" Gerald gasped.

"Keep your voice down!" Alex kicked him.

"They were kinda making out," Josh chuckled.

"No, we weren't! It was only about seven seconds long and it was a normal kiss!" Mark said defensively.

"What was Alice's reaction?" Matthew asked

"She was shocked, too shocked that she didn't even push me away." Mark answered, a blush appearing on his cheeks.

"She threw up afterward," Alex interfered and the others laughed.

"She was drunk," Mark was getting tired of explaining. "But hey, do you know the worst part?" he then asked.

"What is it?" the others asked in unison.

"I kind of liked the kiss even if she didn't kiss back at all."
