32 Overnight in the Young Master's Room

The sleep time of creatures living in a dark land was different from that of creatures living in a land illuminated by the sun. They couldn't rely on sunlight to wake them up. So, they must rely on their own consciousness to regulate their sleeping and waking hours.

Although it sounded strange because most of the creatures there were Night Creatures, the absence of the sun was actually an advantage for them. The nocturnal creatures usually only move after sunset until before sunrise. With that state, they roam and hunt as they please. They did not need to be afraid of the sun's rays which damaged their skin and blinded their eyes.

But it was different from Alicia, who was sleeping soundly. She, who usually wakes up when she sees the sun, was now sleeping all the time because there was no sunlight shining on her face.

When the clock showed 9 o'clock and chimed nine times, the sleeping princess finally started to wake up.

"Hoam, it's so good... Aw... aw... My head is a little dizzy. Did I sleep too long?" After opening her eyes, at first, she felt normal, but after a few seconds, she felt dizzy.

When the pain subsided, she just felt refreshed, and her body really felt light. It was the first time she had slept so soundly and comfortably in the past few months.

After feeling her body was fine, the first thing she saw was the ceiling of the bed, which was a luxurious canopy. She fell asleep on the bed, and her body was covered by a blanket.

She identified the bed she was sleeping on before sitting down. She did so to take a closer look at the surrounding area. "Where am I? Why am I waking up in bed again?"

The same thing happened again, she suddenly woke up from sleep, but she didn't remember when she slept. As if she always fainted every time she fell asleep and made her not remember anything that had happened before.

"Oh, I don't remember!" While scratching her head, she was annoyed that she didn't remember anything.

The shape of the bed and the canopy was the same as in her bedroom. Seeing this, Alicia assumed that she had returned to her room, but one thing that she was not sure if she was in her room was when she smelled a slightly spicy amber scent.

"Ah?! I remember! I should still be in the Young Master's room." Slowly her memory started to come back when she was fully awake, and it made her sit up immediately to make sure in whose bedroom she was.

She was wide-eyed when she saw a work desk with a chair facing the window curtain in the corner of the room. That thing should not have been in her room, and it made her realize that she had not returned to her bedroom at all.

'H-how can I fall asleep in his room? What really happened before I fell asleep?! This is bad... this is bad... How can I sleep comfortably in a man's bedroom?!' She palpitated after finding out that she was in the Young Master's room.

"Finally, you wake up too, sleeping princess!" A voice with a mocking tone rang out from her left. This took her by surprise, and her neck felt heavy to look at the source of the sound.

'This is not possible! Am I really spending my night with him?!' His voice was so close that it made Alicia even more worried about sleeping with him.

"Y-Young master?!" She stuttered while looking to her left. She hoped that what she was thinking would not happen.

She didn't know how long she had been asleep, but she certainly seemed to have been asleep for a long time.

"Since you're awake, you better go back to your bedroom!" Even though she had just woken up, she was immediately scolded by him and was immediately expelled.

"Eh?" She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the Young Master, who was apparently not sleeping with her. Instead, he was standing on the edge of the bed and was taking a shirt in the wardrobe.

Although relieved that her guess was wrong, she thought about it for a long time and just realized that she had been looking at a bare-chested man.

"Good grief!" She immediately closed her eyes and averted her eyes. She had never seen a bare-chested man other than her brother or her father in her entire life.

And that made the shy girl's cheeks turn red. Despite her unfavorable circumstances, she had to ask him directly what the reason was that made her fall asleep in his room.

"W-what happened last night? Why can I sleep here?" She had to make sure she wasn't drugged as the priestess did to her when she arrived in the Holy Kingdom.

She was sure that a cruel and cynical person like the Young Master would easily do that. Moreover, he did not care about her at all.
