15 Leg Cramps

Since there was only her in the chamber, she immediately got off the bed and started stretching movements.

"Gosh, I didn't expect my body to be this stiff... 10 days without moving in prison and days lying on the bed, no wonder it hurts a little." Alicia started by rotating her arm joint. She was surprised that she couldn't do the easiest stretch perfectly.

Dissatisfied with that, she changed position and sat on the floor with her legs stretched out. She tried to grab her toes with her hands. "I should be able to reach it easily, but why is it so difficult."

She still remembers this is the movement she likes the most. Because her body used to be quite flexible, she could even kiss her knees when her hands touched her feet. "Aaa... a little more."

She didn't think that now she couldn't even reach her feet. Annoyed about that, she finally forced herself to grab her toes. And as a result, her leg cramps.

"Aww... This hurts. I should have done it gradually." She almost cried because the pain sensation in her leg muscles and made her roll on the floor.

Luckily it didn't take long for the pain to subside. Still, her enthusiasm faded after that, and she decided to give up on continuing her stretching.

"Haah, I'm really weak right now." She lay on the floor, disappointed that she couldn't stretch properly.

While staring at the luxurious chandelier on the ceiling of the chamber, her tears suddenly flowed as she remembered her parents who had died and her older brother, who was separated from her. "Brother, where are you? I am now in a very dark foreign place. I hope you are safe and do not experience such a sad event as I did."

She was separated from Theo when she fell asleep in the hut with him. She was really worried about him because she left him when he was in critical condition and bleeding profusely.

She couldn't be sure of him now because, at that time, there wasn't much she could do to stop the serious bleeding from the beast's attack. But, she still hoped and prayed that her older brother was safe.

"If you survive, I hope you find your own happiness soon. One year, Ten years, or Thirty years from now, I hope I can see you again, Brother Theo. I will try not to be a weak girl anymore." Alone in the chamber, she kept muttering for the safety of her older brother because she realized that only Theo of her family was left. Even though it was impossible, she hoped to meet her older brother again, even though it would take a long time.

She had such thoughts because she had no hope of escaping from that mysterious place any time soon. She was not good at combat and had little knowledge of healing.

If she continued to be that weak, she wouldn't be able to survive again if she still intended to escape from that palace and reenter that sinister forest again.

Realizing she was very weak at the moment, she had to be careful what steps she took. She must survive until she finds a way out of all these problems.

While she was still lost in thought while staring at the ceiling, there was a knock on the bedroom door accompanied by a girl's voice.

"Miss Alicia, did you sleep?" A soft girl's voice came from behind the door.

Even though she had only spoken a few times, Alicia could immediately recognize the voice calling her name.

Alicia was happy and walked to the door and opened it. "Come in, Belle."

"Um, actually I was asked to take you to your new bedroom." Belle immediately talked about her intention to come in front of the door.

Alicia's excitement immediately turned to worry after hearing Belle's purpose in coming to her chamber. 'Is it time for me to be transferred to the detention room?'

She had the wrong idea because she had thought that the chamber was a special room for her. In fact, it was a treatment room that only patients could use. But right now, Alicia had been declared fine by Rufus.

Every healthy patient will be immediately removed from the treatment room and transferred to another room. But what worried her was that her status in the palace was as a guest. And she didn't understand what kind of guest status Belle and Rufus meant.

She stared for a moment at the girl's face, which was only as high as her ear. Belle looked down without daring to look her in the eye from the start. She was a little confused by Belle's attitude, which had suddenly changed in just a short time. The cheerful girl has now turned into a quiet girl.

"Did something happen to you, Belle?" Feeling a little familiar with Belle, Alicia ventured to ask her. She was worried that something had happened to her because Belle's task was replaced by another maid.

"Nothing happened. Now follow me." Belle didn't say much and immediately walked ahead of Alicia.

Since Belle's answer didn't match her thoughts, Alicia couldn't say much and immediately followed her after closing the chamber door.
