17 Fancy Dress

"Finally a bathroom!" She was happy to see behind the door was the bathroom. At least her room isn't exactly like a prison.

"Yes, finally I can see my reflection! Eh?!" Although she was happy to find a bathroom, she was surprised when she saw that the inside of the bathroom did not meet her expectations.

"Where's the tub and sink?" Alicia didn't look for these 2 things because she wanted to feel like a rich person's bath right away. She looked for it to hold water to see her reflection to replace the mirror that had yet to be found.

She was surprised when she saw that the inside of the spacious bathroom only contained a shower, a toilet, several faucets, and a cupboard.

"What kind of bathroom is this?!" Disappointed that her last hope of seeing her reflection failed, she decided to get out of the bathroom and lay down on the bed.

"There are too many mysteries in this place... In this room, I can't see outside the palace anymore. I feel more constrained here." While looking at the windowless wall, she again had to resign herself to the situation. She was in brackets again!

Even though she was surrounded by luxury goods, it didn't make her happy. Her heart feels empty, and she misses her simple life in the village more. Her heart really warms when she remembers how many people have been kind to her.

While imagining her past, she accidentally touched a foreign object such as plastic near her. "W-what is this?"

She sat down and saw what exactly she was holding. "Dresses?!"

Even though she had explored the room, she had missed the inspection on the luxurious bed. She did not expect that on the bed there was a luxurious dress and some accessories. Since it had become her bedroom, she was sure it was provided for her to wear.

"S-so, what Belle meant for me to get ready was to wear this!?" Seeing the dress with a unique design, Alicia realized the meaning of Belle's previous message. The purpose of moving her to a room with more complete facilities is to shower and dress up.

She didn't know how many minutes she had wasted watching and admiring every corner of the bedroom. To be sure, she must be prepared before Belle comes.

"Is this a request from someone they call that Young Master?!" Rufus or Belle couldn't possibly have asked her to wear those fancy clothes. That request was definitely requested by someone in a higher position than them. Yes, it must be Young Master!

Worried that something terrible would happen if she didn't comply with Belle's request, she immediately went into the bathroom without waiting for a second.

The equipment in the bathroom was complete. When Alicia opened the cupboard to look for toiletries, she was confused because of many beauty products for women with various brands.

"Emmm... Soap, shampoo, and moisturizer. Ah... I'm sorry I didn't learn it from mama." Of the many products from various brands, she only took 3 products that she usually used. She only chose the 3 products not because she wanted to look simple but because they were the only 3 products she knew how to use.

"S-so cold!" She did not expect that the water that came out of the shower would be cold. She felt like taking an ice bath.

She could have chosen to just wash her hair and be done, so she wouldn't have to deal with the cold water any longer. But she was sure that the person she would meet later would be the Young Master. She didn't know what Young Master was like, whether she was a bad person or a good one.

If she doesn't try her best, she doesn't know what will happen if she looks terrible and the impression of a prisoner is still visible from her appearance.

With that concern, Alicia forced herself to take a bath with the cold water and wash her whole body, hoping that she would not be looked down upon by the Young Master when they met.

"This is hope, may Young Master be able to save me out of this trouble!" While continuing to rub her foamy hair, she prayed that someone she was about to meet would be the turning point of her current misery.

"Brr... N-no wonder Belle's hands are cold. Did the water come from an iceberg?" Alicia was shivering from the cold after forcing herself to take a cold shower. Moreover, she takes a long time to clean her hair which has not been washed for a long time.

She felt a significant difference in temperature after leaving the bathroom, and it warmed her body faster.

Seeing that Belle had not yet arrived, she immediately opened the plastic covering the luxurious dress and lifted it up. As Alicia looked at the dress, her feelings of insecurity suddenly surfaced.

"Do I deserve to wear this fancy dress?" She had never worn a fancy dress and was a little worried that it wouldn't suit her, who always wore simple clothes.

"Come on Alicia! Don't be a weak girl just yet, this is my chance to ask Young Master for help." Alicia immediately chased away her negative thoughts.
