Hammerhead who is absolutely livid with having been attacked by monsters, and tricked by the Heroes For Hire puts out an open contract hit out on Luke Cage and Iron Fist as well as the criminal organization he believes to have possession of the mystical book.

"--Don't make me repeat myself!! I want that damn book! I want the Faces Of Fear!!! I want Powerman and Iron Fist--and i want whoever hired them to steal from me!! Spread the word...I'm offering a reward to whoever can deliver the goods!!!" Hammerhead screamed into his cell phone as he angrily paced to and fro in his office.

"Sure thing, boss. Whatever you say." one of the brothers Grimm assented before ending the call and turning to face his brother in the passenger seat.

"What'd he say? Was he screaming again? That guy creeps me out." the second brother queried.

In a bar, notorious Power Man and Iron Fist villains Ruby Thursday and Angar The Screamer discuss Hammerhead's proposition. "--You hear about Power Man and Iron Fist getting back together?" Ruby asked as she nonchalantly sipped at her red wine.

"I hate those guys!" Angar roared as he smashed his glass against the table, staining the tablecloth the crimson of his wine.

In two adjoining bathroom stalls in the men's restroom of a nearby club, the Villain Rocket Racer set down his skateboard and noticed the guitar of fellow gimmick Villain The Hypno-hustler leaning against the wall of the stall on the other side. "--And then they stole the magic book." Rocket Racer explained.

"No they didn't." Hypno-hustler interjected.

"If I'm lyin', I'm dyin' man." Rocket Racer abided.

"But isn't that magic book, like...i dunno...evil?"

Misty Knight comes across an article in the daily bugle :

"Ghost comes to dinner in Chinatown!

A bizarre incident occurred late last night in the China Star Authentic restaurant in Chinatown. According to the frightened patrons, the ghost of a chinese man floated down through the ceiling. The frightened customers fled into the streets, while the phantom hungrily devoured the meals they had left behind.

Arriving on the scene, police officers Mcnally and Mendoza found no evidence of the ravenous spirit and consider the incident to be an elaborate Publicity hoax. The establishment's owner, Mr. Eddie Wong was unavailable for comment.

Is this truly a prank? Or is it a prelude to more incidents like the Monster Murders that have rocked New York over the last couple weeks?"
