32 Voice

Alex nodded and walked to a nearby bench. He needed to sit down. Alex looked down at his Clothes with heavy eyes, "Hana helped me get this suit for special occasions and it's all ruined. It's got holes and cuts all over." Alex looked towards the sky, "I guess It can't be helped." He sighed.

As Alex relaxed, he looked at his stats once more.

"If a battle does break out, I won't be of much use. I can barely battle with 2 reapers, both with similar levels as mine but to think that I now have to battle with new reapers, more powerful than the ones that I just fought with." Alex sighed, "I guess having two A-rank awakened nearby was good. They said that they wanted to ask a few things… It seems like they were watching me and came here when the Sky turned." Alex speculated as he looked at Midnight and Buster.

'I won't be able to use might again… If this was a game like a system, Shouldn't there be some sort of potion that allows me to regain my mana or health?' Alex said as he looked into the UI once more. He was searching for any prompts related to healing or regenerating his mana. After opening his Inventory, Alex's eyes opened wide when he saw a small prompt.

[Potion]

'This must be how I regenerate mana and health.' Alex thought as he opened the prompt.

A smile came on Alex's face when he saw the prompts. He quickly pressed on the Mana potion. As he did so, A small blue potion appeared in his hands. Alex looked at the potion in more detail. "It's only as big as my palm. I guess that's where the name small comes from. Let's just hope it refills my mana completely." Alex said as he popped the potion's lid open and quickly drank the potion inside. However, after drinking only a quarter of the potion, Alex realized something.

"It's not complete because of the de-buff from this morning but It's full. Isn't this potion supposed to be small? Why did it give me so much Mana?" Alex was confused. However, he wasn't disappointed. In fact, Alex was happy, "If it took a quarter, then I can use Might even more. I can be of some use in this upcoming battle." Alex said as he stood up.

He walked towards Midnight and Buster, bother of them seemed to very serious.

The two looked at Alex, who seemed to be striding towards them. Seeing Alex filled with energy, the two were confused but they let their confusion die out. They were more concerned about the gate. "I think it's going to stop," Buster said as he slammed his fists to the floor. As his fists hit the ground, The ground underneath them started to rumble and slowly rise up.

'So his power must be something related to controlling the surfaces around him? Or something like that…' Alex speculated when he saw the ground underneath his rise higher.

"With a higher ground, Midnight can work her magic," Buster said as he jumped down to the ground. He also indicated Alex to jump down to him.

"You and I will be the front force. From what I've heard, these evolved gates will be random. From small and weak reapers to ones that appear in S rank gates can come. So, I think you already know what strategy I'm going to recommend." Buster spoke.

Alex nodded, He already had an idea of the strategy, "I take care of the smaller ones so you have more time and energy to take on the stronger ones." Alex had a question "But what if a big reaper, comparable to an S rank comes?"

Busted shook his head and looked at the sky," The red glow is slowly dissipating. Reapers comparable to S ranks are huge but the gate's size has only reached around that of A to B rank gates so we need not worry about that. If the number of reapers is much, then we should be able to take them all on."

The three watched the skies. Slowly, but surely, the Sky started to return back to normal. The gate also stopped growing.

It seemed like they would be in battle soon. The three waited for the reapers to appear. A few minutes passed but nothing. No reaper entered the gate.

Another 5 minutes passed, there were no signs of the reaper, but the gate also didn't seem like it would close soon.

The three seemed to let their guard down a little bit but a sudden roar from within the gates seemed to scare them back to full attention.

*ROAR!*

"What was that?!" Midnight's hands shook. Alex looked at midnight 'She must have been shaken up by the sudden roar'

"KEKEKE. Humans are the most fun to scare. I wanted to have some fun here but it doesn't seem worth it. Just some small blessed, nothing big. I was expecting the divine to appear but It seems like even that lowly human was scared. Well, I won't leave the three of you here doing nothing. Have fun with some of my minions. Don't worry, they Bite! KEKEKE."

An eerie high pitched voice came from within the gate.

The three looked towards the gates, Midnight and Buster looked very confused. "Since when did they speak our language?!" Buster said in a confused tone. Midnight nodded in agreement with buster.

Alex, however, wasn't shaken up by the Reaper speaking, he had already heard them speak, that also 3 of them. 'That must have been a very very high-level reaper, like the ones I saw in the gates. It's good that it chose not to enter. I don't know how powerful its minions are but I think compared to what I've seen them do. The minions shouldn't be that tough."

I guess I'll start to do Chapters according to Power stones!

300 ps (by weekly reset)= 7 chapters next week

700 ps (by weekly reset)= 13 chapters next week

and 1.5k ps(by weekly reset) = 20 chapters for the next week

and if less than 300, I'll do 5 chapters next week (1-2 days of no updates that week so I can stockpile!)
