Chapter 2: The Day After

Celestia's body jerked as her consciousness woke up from the brief slumber. Even before she asked about the current situation yesterday, she already knew what was happening. She not only knew what was happening in the galaxy, she knew the same about the cosmos and even beyond that. She knew the past, present and all the numerous paths of the future and their result. It was one of her many powers. Omniscience it was called. After thinking for a fraction of a moment, she decided to shut off this power, as this completely nullified the unpredictability of the future.

Afterall she was here to amuse herself and do so she would. After the power was turned off, all the details she had garnered by it which can alter the future vanished from her mind. She went outside, and decided to take a look at the garden. The maid followed behind her.

The current civilization was pretty advanced. Even though it was far from reaching the pinnacle, she applauded it in her mind for reaching that stage as mortals. The garden was filled with varities of exotic plants as well as animals from all over the world
