15 Lucky Roll
UA high school is as rowdy as ever. Students hurdles in conversations as they enjoy lunches from either their homemade or school provided meals.
The boys in the back are exchanging conversations of what nots;
"Hey have you heard about the annual hero ranking yesterday?" one of the students said
"I forgot to tune in, but I'm pretty sure the top 1 to 3 outcome will be according to the previous results. Just exclude the 1 number one hero who have recently retired" his classmate replies
"Pretty sure I can reach their level in no time" he boastly replied
"Yeah...anyway, have you seen the military checkpoint on your way too school this morning?" he asked
"I'm thinking they're still on pursuit of the museum theif" his classmate replied
"That happened for quite some time now. I don't think they're gaining any progess at all from these actions" he said
Outside the room, a post is hanging above the sliding door saying, Class 1B
A bulky light blue haired guy in his hero suit (middle age, should be a teacher, wears yellow tinted eyeware, has two sharp bulging canine tooth, appears to be on a calm mood) passes by the door. He notices the unmanaged state of the room through the window. He looks at the wall clock nailed on the wall outside the hall to find the time as he said, "I should have plenty more time" and proceeds to walk away
Meanwhile, a slender light skin girl with an orange hair tied to a ponytail on her left side of her head is sitting on her chair while reading on a book called "Gaijin Yokozuna." She listens on a piano instrumental as it is slightly audible (possibly on max volume) using her earphones to inhibit unwanted outside noises.
Two girls approaches her (a silver short cut haired girl with her similar length and cut bangs is covering her left eye, has empty expressions and reserved movements, and a curly pale black haired girl with a visible bright dynamic expressions)
"Kendo-chan, good afternoon!" the black haired girl said while removing Kendo's earphones as she speaks directly to her ears
Slightly surpised by the approach, Kendo replied, "Good afternoon, Setsuna (the black haired), Yanagi (silver hair)"
"Shishishi, now that I got your attention, should we have our lunch already" Setsuna replied
Yanagi nodded on agreement
"I thought I said that I'm not having lunch today" Kendo replied
"You didn't! And we waited 30 minutes just for you to pass on the occassion. Not cool" Setsuna madly replied
Yanagi consecutively nodded to agree as well.
"I'm really sorry, I should remind you clearly next time" Kendo replied
"Alright, were having our lunch now" Setsuna said
They circle their tables and chair around Kendo's desk and begin to eat their meals
...
"Any plans to have your hero internship on the upcoming break?" Kendo asks
"I have few offers, but I might just have that time to study at home" Setsuna replied
"How about you Yanagi?" Kendo asks
"Yeah, I heard you got a bunch of offers from big time hero agencies" Setsuna added
"Still thinking about it" Yanagi politely replied
The sliding door slams open
The trio's attention were averted towards the pale haired boy (chap 14). He looks tired and out of spirit
In a zombie like manner, he walks towards Kendo. He mutters weird sounds from his chest while keeping his mouth half open. His eyes were already elevated reaching to the point were his pupils are not so visible.
The girls were disturbed as Kendo slowly asked, "Monoma-san, what seems to be the problem?"
Monoma's expression drastically changes to a mixture of bright and happy as he said, "Kendo-sama, you look pretty today"
"Let me guess, you need my home work" Kendo replied as she hands out a notebook from her bag
Monoma became anxious and nervously said, "No, I simply need it for references. I am already done with my home work yesterday in fact"
He grabs the notebook away and proceeds to leave
Thud
Kendo karate chops his head making him stop as she said, "I think you're forgetting something Mr. Monoma..."
"Thank you for the book, K-Kendo-sama" Monoma replied
Kendo sits back from her chair. She sighs and said, "Jeez, can that guy ever be more responsible"
"It seems like you're always too soft on him anyway" Setsuna said
Kendo gave off an ominous smile and said, "What do you mean by that? Tokage-chan (Setsuna Tokage)"
Yanagi and Setsuna felt the chill and succumb to the fear
Eeek, I shouldn't have said that, Setsuna nervously thought
The two became silent for a moment as Kendo awaits her response
The bulky guy in the hero suit enters the room and said, "Lunch is over, go back to your respective seats"
"Welcome back, Sekijiro-sensei" a girl in short cut black haired responded
"Before we start, please hand yesterday's assignments. We'll start with Monoma, bring yours infront" Sekijiro addresses
"Yes sir" Monoma replied
He walks slowly as tremendous amount of anxiety is conquering him
Kendo watches as he walks past her. He hands her notebook back and comes infront.
Monoma hands his notebook to Sekijiro as he turns around nervously
Sekijiro opens the notes and said "Hold on"
Monoma stops and replies, "What is it?"
"Yesterday I assigned to make a detailed research about Hero's first aid....for girls. For boys however, is Hero's villain encounter. You did the exact opposite" Sekijiro-sensei said
The realization made Monoma speechless. He felt and imagined like he was stabbed with a sword and it is stuck in his chest in the meantime.
"Go to the locker room, change into your PE clothes and run 55 laps around the whole school!!" Sekijiro-sensei commanded
The class ended and the students went outside
Monoma is still doing his laps. Sloppy and exhausted, he said, "8...more...lapse. I already can't feel my own legs"
Kendo, Yanagi, and Setsuna went outside together to checkout what's happening
There they see a newly arrived Sekijiro-sensei strictly supervising and spectating Monoma's movements
"If you can't reach the next laps within the next minute, I'll add 10 more laps for you" Sekijiro shouted
Gasping tiredly, Monoma tries to say, "What the f-" as he collapses to the ground
The resident nurse immediately responded along with Sekijiro-sensei
"Pathetic, when I was your age, we had to run away or fight from invisible enemies" Sekijiro said
"And there he goes. All those confidence to outclass Class 1A is now in shambles" Kendo said with dissapointment on her tone as they watch from afar
"This shouldn't be his first time on these unlucky situations. These things happens to him almost every week" Setsuna added
"I can clearly see the gods of misfortune following him for as long of his lifetime" Yanagi silently replied
A dark brown haired boy passes by to also see what's going on. He has pale black eyes that yeilds laziness, with a spiky short cut hair. He walks away as it loses his interest
He grabs a book from his bag called "Engineering," but it's oddly spelled backwards.
