11 Crystal's Resident Part 1
"What is this?" Tokoyami asked confusely after entering Kaminari's room
"Welcome, new member" Tsuyu greeted
Jirou, Hagakure, and Tsuyu are enjoying a steaming gyoza paired with a cola
"I get Jirou, but Asui deciding to organize this operation is a bit of a surprise" Tokoyami said on a doubting tone
"You're most welcome here, but please address your seniors with respect" Tsuyu said
"We're all about the same year age" Tokoyami replied
"Well, we are the original members after all" Jirou said
"Uhmm, what are you doing?" Tokoyami asked after noticing Hagakure sneaking to surprise him from behind
"Crap, my special attack is ruined" Hagakure said and flustered by Tokoyami's response
"So where is Kaminari anyway, he invited me to join this club without even a brief introduction of what it does?" Tokoyami asked
"He said he have some errands to do back home. It should take him a couple of days to finish" Jirou replied
"Hehehe, I'm glad you asked, we are a humble club dedicating our knowledge to solve mysteries all over the world!" Tsuyu narrates
"That's our leader for you" Hagakure proudly replied
Wait, when did you change your outfit to that of a detective get up!? Tokoyami wonders after noticing Tsuyu changed her clothes unknowingly
"Enough with the introduction, Jirou" Tsuyu said on a disciplined voice
"Yes maam" Jirou responded
"We will now begin our first case, all of you gather some reports and news about any odd and mysterious happenings all over Japan. We shall only pick the ones most recent and challenging.That is all, now proceed!" Tsuyu commanded
"Right away" Hagakure and Jirou replied
Tokoyami was a little surprised and thought, woah! to think they will take this activities seriously
...or not, Tokoyami wondered. It's been 3 days and all they do is slack off, eat junk foods, and pretend they're serious on what theyre doing at their phones
"Uhmm, is there any progress to our investigation?" Tokoyami asked
"There is non at the moment" Jirou confidently replied
"Well, what we could do is patrol the town and ask for anything new" Tokoyami said
"Dont worry yourself, it will come eventually" Tsuyu replied
The trio heard some footsteps running towards their direction
The door slams open and Hagakure entered with excitement in her tone, "I finally got the case for us to solve!" she said
"Tell us what it is" Tsuyu was intruiged
"It is a week old case. I found this in the internet, a picture of a blue flaming sprite in a lake haunting the forest" Hagakure replied
"The spirit looks like it is dancing in the water, cool" Jirou said with awe
"It's just possibly a quirk user messing around or something" Tokoyami said upon losing interest
"That can't be possible, the guy who took the picture is a non quirk user and there is no other people in the forest except his accomplice which is also a non quirk user" Hagakure replied
"Well its final then, all of you prepare a three day camping essentials. We'll go camp near the lake and get evidence about the spirit. Tomorrow Saturday 06:00 am, earlier than that is required" Tsuyu said
"I think, this is a bit rash" Tokoyami worriedly said
"Don't worry, take this as a training to improve our hero skills" Jirou replied
All of them proceeded to prepare
After a day, all four of them meet up in a station and waited near the railways
"I guess youre all sleepy too" Jirou said
"I think I had it worst" Hagakure replied
"P-please focus on the mission" Tsuyu said
but looking most tired out of the group
"Well this is a new thing for me too" Tokoyami replied
"You dont look tired at all" Hagakure said
"I just had a good sleep thats all" Tokoyami replied with a satisfied grin
"For my ali bi, I had to clean the house yesterday and it took me all night" Jirou said
"The weather is getting too cold lately and its making me sleepy" Tsuyu added."Well enough of that, we'll now proceed on our mission"
They responded with a little more enthusiasm
After riding the train they seat besides each other and eat some of their snacks
"Jirou, can I borrow your phone? I need it for a picture" Tokoyami asked
"Is it for a group picture" Jirou said
"not exactly" Tokoyami replied
"Dont be shy, let me take it for you" Jirou said and grabs her phone to take a photo
The three of them pose happily while Tokoyami uncomfortably smiles to join
"Here you go" Jirou said after taking the picture and giving the phone to Tokoyami
"I'll return it later" Tokoyami replied
The train stops in a rural town. The place is full of people farming and harvesting crops for the near winter
Hagakure runs outside, takes a deep breath, and said, "What a nice place right?"
"We still have to go take a fare in order to go to the camping preserve" Tsuyu replied
They waited for about an hour for a ride to come
As they are in the car, they drive past quarry trucks and land mowers plaining a nearby mountain
"Wonder if they will make a resort out of it?" Jirou asked
"That should drastically boost the town's dying tourism" Tsuyu replied
The car stops near a ranger's post. The forest surrounding the area has thick and tall trees
The entrance has awareness signs that say, "Those who take the green for granted does not deserve it" and "A place's beauty, is through its nature's serenity"
Two people welcomed them in the entrance. An old man and a youger one that can be noticed by the name tags hanging in their necks and a hat suited for jungle trekking
"Hello kids, we welcome you to the town's forest preserve where we have a beautiful scenic lake and family dedicated camping sites. My name is Agan Satsuki, and I am the cheif ranger and this man is my son" the old man said
"My name is Ubon Satsuki, I shall be your tour guide" the younger man replied
"Please take care of us!" All of them said and bowed as a sign of respect
They first prepared and wore proper gear in the ranger's base
Jirou notices a big aquarium and said, "Is that aquarium a little too big for a catfish? But look, there are scratches in the glass"
"It also looks pregnant" Tsuyu replied
"Can I use any tool for fishing?" Tokoyami asked pointing to the fishing rods and harpoons nearby
"Oh sure, go right ahead. The lake has a bountiful fishes allowed to catch and eat" Agan replied
"I guess we should have bring smoking grills instead of cup noodles" Hagakure said
"Rest assured, we have it near the second base near the lake. It have toilets and a water running bath too" Agan replied
They follow Ubon towards the campsite
Ubon stops and said, "I almost forgot, as a sign of respect for the forest's previous and departed guardians, we require everyone to hand over their digital devices to me. This guidelines has been followed from generations past. Instead we will use this walkie talkie to communicate with each other and to the ranger's base for any help. That way we can fully embrace the nature's beauty and valuing its present dearly in our memories"
They handed their phones in a bag and proceeded with the trail
Tsuyu walks near Hagakure and whispers, "How did you manage to convince them to let us camp in here anyway?"
"Well, they got the request from my parents and they seem to have agreed to the terms" Hagakure replied
"Uhmm, why am I carrying all the heavy stuff?" Tokoyami asked after struggling to carry a big and handful of bags
"Prove us how strong you are, you practiced martial arts with Ojiro recently am I right?" Tsuyu replied
Isn't this a little too much? Tokoyami annoyingly thought
"Besides, I think all of you have better reflexes and physical skills than mine" Tokoyami said
Tokoyami notices them walking faster slowly leaving him behind
"Move a little faster will you! We can't hear what youre saying from here" Hagakure shouted
Tokoyami brisks fast to catch up
They stopped at the lake and theyre astonished by the view
"This is pretty nice isn't it?" Hagakure said as she mesmerize in the lake's beauty
"Can't wait to see its night beauty as well" Jirou replied
After settling their stuffs, they begin to construct tents of four
"Are we a bit too early to place tents?" Tokoyami asked
"It's better early than were already lazy" Tsuyu confidently rhymed and replied
After a while, Obun said, "I'll go back for the base to get some firewood. You guys can wander around but not too much, we don't have much trails to follow back in case you got lost"
After observing the tour guide's departure, Tsuyu then said, "We shall now begin our investigation. It looks like spirits like this usually come only at night. But I read rumors that the spirit may be sleeping above trees nearby. We'll come back later and prepare. For now we will search the perimeter"
"Youre not going to come with us" Jirou asked
"I'm going to catch fish for dinner so I'll stay" Tokoyami replied
"Good luck then" Tsuyu replied
"Tsuyu-chan, can you hold this for the light" Hagakure said using a talkie
"Well then, I'll lead the way!" Tsuyu responded with confidence using a talkie
The trio happily proceeds to wander around the forest
Tokoyami finds a place and sit above a rock full of scratches. Supposedly used to sharpen harpoons and hooks from rods
This should take a while, Tokoyami thought as he throws the hook to the lake and proceeds to go fishing
