1 Human or Hero
Wlliam was floating so long along the space that slowly he began to forget things like concept of time, feelings and eventually the five senses, along the way the only thing left in the empty husk was a memory, one that eventually shaped William to the man he was.
???: William you know that in this power stricken world you can force your ideals as well as get anything you want with power, but the thing you won't get in the End is respect people will only fear you.
William: so what do i have to do to make people respect me mom.
Mother: you seen in your shows how those main characters were right follow their example but also don't forget yourself, strategizing and being cunning aren't bad traits also think about yourself sometimes, alright my little munchkin.
William: alright mommy. (Smile)
The scene of the 6 year old boy with his mother on the hospital bed replayed in his mind the scene that always brought warmth to William and from the memory it wasn't hard to guess what type of person the boy became.
Suddenly a short memory resurfaced one that was forgotten. A young woman who asked a question "are you human?"
Why did she ask that question he asked himself but didn't have an answer just another question?
Was he different?.....was he really human?
???: No you weren't!
Suddenly the whole void trembled and darkness was replaced by light
???: child you had surpassed the limit of a common human and became a heroic entity
Emotions, senses and some memories resurfaced and William was shocked by the voice in the light.
William: heroic entity?
???: people that have accumulated so much good karma that their soul evolves on the path of light and becomes a heroic soul eventually going down the path of a hero or saint. You child in your previous world after the death of your mother by cancer became a Doctor and researcher your discoveries eventually found several cures of life theatrening diseases as well as disabillities and one such cure that saved the world from a deadly plague and finally you died at the age of 64 cause of over working your body......yet you have no regrets?
William: (shakes head) even though i might not remember, i lived life the way i wanted, based on my ideals, but it is true that i didn't take care of myself like my mother wanted me to....perhaps thats kinda my regret (scratches head)
The voice was silent for a few moments.
???: Indeed after your death you were called "Father of medicine" and "Saviour" but since you are now a heroic entity i can't place you in a normal mortal world.
William was happy hearing about his titles but was confused on the latter part.
William: I'm not going to heaven?
???: child perhaps i should tell you some things about the "place" we reside in the universe you lived in though near infinite in your standards was actually one of many in the Multiverse, where you came from was a mortal plane one of many similar to it they are places for "normal" people to live but also testing grounds.
William: Testing grounds? For what?
William was genuinely confused with all the sudden new revealations to his world and an entire new type of existenses outside of his knowledge.
???: There are two paths that exist, The path of Light and The path of Darkness which house Heroic and Heretic entities respectively, these existenses are the variables of balance that are in the multiverse each opposed to the other, the light fighting for their ideals whereas the darkness fighting for their desires, I am one of the Gods of the path of light and the one who will put you in a world under my watch.
William: so in short because of my deeds my soul evolved and now I can not live in a "normal" world so a higher ranking world is needed to house my soul.
???: Indeed and because your karmic virtue greatly surpassed the maximum limit of your previous world aside from the gifts about to be given to you will retain memories of your previous world but the memories of this meeting will be sealed and will only be remembered in the presense of another God of the paths.
William: I understand but why would you want to seal the memories of the two paths if i may ask?
???: You can say its an anti-hypocrite method the sides had agreed upon, there are cases in which heroes remembering their past justify they had "enough" and use their newfound powers to fulfill their desires and Heretics that regret their past actions and use their powers instead to eliminate evil and sadly in most of these cases the path they were on couldn't be changed this caused great damage to bòth sides, so the solution of erasing past memories came in to play that way these individuals could stay more true to themselves based on personality, you are a rare case one reason being your high karmic virtue and the fact that the memories of your "personal" life have been distorted by staying in the void for too long.
William nods it makes sense and the fact that he will be able to retain past knowledge will be helpful in his new world, now he was thinking about the gifts.
William: you said i will be given gifts before being reborn?
???: Yes 3 in total two you can choose yourself but the last one i will grant.
William: Okay for my first wish i want to have high comprehension abillity.
William knew that being smart was a "must have" abillity he doesn't doubth that his past achievements were only achievable for him because of his intellect and thats the thing he Will need in an unknown world.
???: Granted. Even though your soul was already powerful enough to have high comprehension even before your evolution being more smart won't hurt.
William: I wish to have a loving family
???: I can understand the first gift but the second I don't?
The voice sounded genuinely curious and confused.
William: from what i can remember i think....No i know my mother was my last family member and now i want to be a little selfish and i want the love that was taken away from me.
???: (such a pure request.....looks like i did the right thing coming to this desolate plane)

The voice sounded pleased
???: Now your final gift will be a "source body".
William: whats that?
???: A body which is made by source energy, the most primal yet pure energy in the multiverse it will grant you not only great potential but also being able to house other powers without backlash in your body so you can grow without complications.
William: (That will be pretty useful, it will help me no matter which high ranking world I'll be in now i guess I'll be leaving soon) Even if its one of your duties I'm very thankful for your guidance and gifts........and i know this might be a bit embarassing but may i know your name.
???: HAHAHA i really thought you'll be the first one to leave without actually knowing the one that helped you name, you kid are bit of an airhead.
William was really embarrased the thing he should have asked at the start was being said now but he really wanted to know his benefactor's name.
???: alright alright I'll stop....well i actually don't have a name but from where i am from i am called....ONE ABOVE ALL.
The light in front of William condensed and formed a humanoid figure encased in light William felt like a bomb exploded, he perfectly knew who this was, he was the God of the marvel universe that standed ABOVE everyone but the mostly shocking thing was HE WAS REAL and so that means the place where he will be sent to is.
William: HOW! You are REAL!?
One ABOVE ALL: of course i am REAL everything is REAL! And you my child your stage will be the Marvel Universe i have high expectations for you now go, your new home and journey awaits.
William's body starts to dissipate in light particles and his soul breaks through the void in breakneck speed but before any of this happened William himself was shocked that the comics and shows he watched to pass his boredom which he thought were all work of fictions were actually REAL.
ONE ABOVE ALL: I really was lucky this time to find a soul like him, lets just hope this kid reaches the peak of his potential, Human turned Hero (smile)
