8 Chapter 8: The Attack! Part 2

...Inside the White House...

"Well, shall we get started." Mr. President says clapping his hands once. "Sure." Charlie replies. "Do... you need any armour?" The president asks.

"Charlie reply's by snapping his finger burning all of his and his teams clothes off revealing armour befitting S class elites; Elizabeth then reaches her hand out, her hand disappearing, she takes it back revealing beautiful grade 10 weapons.

All mana weapons - meaning weapons that awakened and or mana beings use - have grades, 1 being the weakest, 10 being the strongest.

But what caught the president's eye was that Elizabeth could use spatial magic, an extremely rare magic that no awakened in the program could use. "Spa-spatial magic!" The presudent blurts out. "You're goddamn right, Elizabeth here has spatial magic!" Hank blurts out. "Although she can only use it for storage." Charlie reminds.

"Anyway, take us to the gate." Charlie demands. Each member takes their very own weapon, Charlie getting a grade 10 sword, the legendary 'Excalibur', a golden sword with runes all over, that previously belonged to King Arthur of legend. Elizabeth gets a beautifully carven eldenwood staff, previously belonging to King Arthur's second hand man, the legendary wizard Merlin. Hank gets a massive warhammer with ancient norse runes on it, a grade 10 weapon of legend, known as Mjolnir, the lightning hammer that is said to belong to thunder god Thor of norse legend. Suzie gets grade 10 healing gloves, although not of legend, their power is not to be scoffed at. Barry gets a beautiful golden black bow, said to belong to a power elven warrior that went on to become king.

Being led outside, the team is reunited with their guy in the chair, Jerry Chu, "How'd things go, do we know if it's him?" Jerry asks the team, "No, but I'm sure it is." Charlie answers. Rentering the black SUV they are led by a military caravan to the gate. "Remember guys, this is the moment we've been waiting for for 13 years, we can't afford to fail, because if we do, this beautiful we've come to know these past 13 years, will be destroyed." Charlie tells his rag tag crew.

They exit the vehicle, and stand before a massive portal that is spewing fierce winds. They enter...
