2 Chapter 2: A Noble Lady
At night, in a quiet forest, a strange white light suddenly began to shine and illuminate the surroundings. The light remained for a few seconds and then suddenly vanished. In the place where it faded away, a person appeared, who could not be clearly distinguished due to the darkness.
Edwin was feeling a little uncomfortable after his arrival, so he briefly tried to collect himself where he was. He got down on his knees and started doing breathing exercises to feel more comfortable. "Haaa... Really... Livian didn't tell me long distance teleportation felt this awful." Grumbling, he stood up and looked around curiously.
"Where am I?" Edwin was surprised to see the silhouettes of large trees around him, slightly illuminated by the moonlight. Even though Goddess Livian had said she would send him to the Trianta Empire, Edwin had not expected to find himself in a dark forest. He finished looking around and started to evaluate the situation in his head.
'Hmm... This must be a forest within the borders of the empire. In that case, I'd better get out of this forest as soon as possible and find a human settlement. Then I'll get the general situation from the people there and make my way to the nearest temple of the Goddess Livian.'
His thoughts were interrupted by a rustling sound coming from the bushes a little ahead of him. Edwin turned his head in the direction of the sound and tried to see what was making it.
A few seconds later, five large black wolves emerged from the bushes as if in a show of strength. Growling, they looked menacingly in Edwin's direction and slowly began to surround him.
Edwin did not react and remained where he was as they encircled him. It was clear that he felt no threat from these wolves. Then he let out a small sigh and tried to reason with them.
"Look, I don't want to hurt you, can't you just pretend you didn't see me and we can just leave without incident?" The wolves did not react to his words and continued to surround Edwin. Seeing this, Edwin put his hand under his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm... It seems these wolves don't have the intelligence to understand what I am saying. I guess the animals here are a bit different from the ones I saw in Goddess Livian's realm."
Towards the end of his words, a slightly larger wolf lunged at him and the others followed. Edwin, however, did not move, and calmly removed his hand from his chin, then sighed. "Haaa, looks like I'll have to immobilize them."
When the wolves were about to reach him, a blue light emanated from Edwin's eyes at a very high speed, and this light spread ten meters around him, and enveloped the whole area. It disappeared as quickly as it came, and the plants in the area where the light was emitted and the wolves that tried to attack Edwin were burned to ashes, leaving only the scorched black earth.
"What... What happened?" Edwin looked around with a puzzled expression, staring at the burning earth around him and the ashes of the wolves. He felt frustrated when he realized what had happened.
"I didn't realize the creatures of this world could be so easily harmed." he sighed in a depressed manner. "I only wanted to immobilize the wolves, not kill them." At the end of his words, he went to where the wolves had been before the light enveloped them. Then he stood in front of the ashes left by the wolves, closed his eyes and began to pray.
"Great Goddess Livian, may your light guide the souls of these creatures who died needlessly." After he finished his prayer, he opened his eyes and looked around.
"So, which way should I go?"
Edwin stayed where he was for a while, uncertain. But after a period of contemplation, he gave up, shrugged his shoulders and started moving in a random direction, accompanied by moonlight.

Three days after Edwin received his mission, the eastern border of the Trianta Empire, the edge of the Ancient Black Forest...
As the morning sun shone brightly, the sounds of roosters crowing to fulfill their duties, echoed throughout Nightwood Town. The townsfolk were beginning to wake up and the smells of home-cooked meals were slowly wafting through the air. Although they hoped that this morning would be as uneventful as every other mornings, a few hundred meters away from the town, military tents had been set up for a week, making the locals uneasy.
From the flags fluttering over the campsite where the soldiers' tents were pitched, it was clear that these soldiers belonged to a noble family. In the center of the camp was a tent that was bigger and more extravagant than the others. The soldiers who had been standing guard around this majestic tent since the evening, despite their fatigue, continued to do their duty seriously. This was a clear indication of how important the person inside was.
Meanwhile, this important figure in the tent slowly began to open her eyes to the sound of crowing roosters. After looking drowsily around for a while, she put her hands together and stretched. A while later, she shook off her drowsiness and got up from where she was lying.
As she looked around, for a moment, her eyes caught the tight nightgown she was wearing. With a troubled expression, she began to tug and straighten the nightgown. When she realized that the chest part of the nightgown squeezed her breasts and did not fit her as she wanted, she took slow steps in front of the mirror in the corner of her tent. When she reached the mirror, she looked at her reflection with an unhappy expression.
The reflection in the mirror showed a beautiful red-haired woman in a white nightgown that emphasized her sexy curves. Suddenly, this woman grasped her huge breasts with her hands underneath and began to mutter in irritation.
"Have they grown again?"
As she spoke in her melodious voice, she raised one eyebrow and a pout formed on her pretty face. If anyone who didn't know her had witnessed this, they might have thought that this gorgeous woman was doing it on purpose to seduce them. But those familiar with her would have bowed their heads in alarm and prayed in fear that they would not be misunderstood by this red-haired woman.
As the red-haired woman stared unhappily at her reflection in the mirror, a young woman's voice was heard outside.
"My lady, are you awake?"
After she had said her words, the person who had spoken quickly opened the cloth at the entrance to the tent, stepped inside and quickly closed it behind her so that no one could see inside. The person who entered was a lovely young woman dressed in a conservative maid outfit with black hair in a bun. As soon as she entered, she brought the bucket of water she was carrying to the side of the woman who was touching her breasts in front of the mirror.
Looking at her reflection, the woman turned around and asked the young woman who had entered, pointing at her breasts. "What do you think, Olivia? Do you think they've grown again?" Her voice and the frown on her face showed her annoyance.
At her mistress's words, the young woman, whose name was Olivia, stared thoughtfully at her lady's breasts for a moment. Then she lifted her head and spoke with a cheerful expression towards the distressed woman in front of her. "Yes, Lady Amber. I think your breasts have grown again. Your beauty continues to increase every day, truly."
Amber muttered with an exasperated expression. "'Uh, I don't care about beauty, Olivia! They'll only get in the way when I'm fighting. Besides, my old armor is getting a little tight these days. Damn it! Now I'm going to have to order a new chest armor." she uttered these unladylike words as she washed her hands and face in the bucket her maid had brought her.
Meanwhile, Olivia handed Amber a towel to dry herself. Having served her lady for such a long time, she had grown accustomed to her peculiar behaviors. Amber took the towel and began to dry her hands and face. At this point Olivia began to speak again.
"My lady, the scouts you sent out last night have returned from the forest and are waiting for you to wake up so they can give you their report. During their mission they saw some strange sights in the forest that they couldn't identify."
Hearing this, Amber understood the situation and immediately threw the towel in her hand aside. "Then let's go now." Olivia jumped in front of her as Amber made her way confidently towards the entrance of the tent.
Not understanding what was happening, Amber frowned, looked up at Olivia and spoke in a serious voice. "What the hell is that supposed to mean, Olivia? Don't stall me when there are important things to be done, get out of my way!"
At these words, the maid did not back down, but looked at Amber in disbelief and began to rebuke her. "Lady Amber, are you planning to go out dressed like that!?!"
Amber looked at Olivia for a moment, tilting her head from side to side in a cute way. Then she slowly lowered her head and looked down at the white nightgown that clung to her curves. She blushed a little as she realized the situation and turned around and walked over to where her clothes were. Without turning around, she called out to Olivia in a small voice, her embarrassment was clear in her voice.
"Olivia, can you help me, please?"
Seeing the lovely and embarrassed demeanor of this woman who terrorized people with her actions and demeanor, Olivia secretly let out a tired sigh. "... Of course, my lady."
