6 The Elf and the girl.

"w... wait" I hear some voices but I continue walking.

"WAIT! please I'm begging you please don't leave us here!" The Girl on the right screams, Why should I bring them with me?

"And why should I help you?" I ask.

"P- please at least take this girl right here with you.." She replies.

"No! I won't leave you here behind if they find you who knows what they'll do!" The one besides her comments.

What is happening to them anyways? Like what's their deal asking a stranger to take them....

"Why do you ask for a stranger's aid?" I question them: are they planning something? Maybe if I take them they'll try to use me then throw me away when they don't need me. This could be a facade, a trap, But... Gahh!!

"Fine, come with me, But the moment I find out you're planning something I'll abandon you." I said with a stern face.

"Y- yes please " The one on the left replies.

As we walked down the forest I began Interrogating the two to see if I could uncover anything.

"So what's your guy's name?" I asked

"...." No reply. This awkward silence continued for sometime until I saw the river.

"You guys stay here, I'll go get some stuff to eat." I said maybe they're just nervous so eating should definitely help them answer me. I gathered some berries and some fish then I grilled the fish and put it all on the leaves I've been using as a plate then we ate dinner.

After dinner one of them finally spoke.

"My name is Elain Heina I'm from one of the Elven tribes that've been discovered by humans." And then she removes her hood to reveal a woman with beautiful features such as a symmetrical face platinum hair in a ponytail pointy ears green eyes and a fair white skin, No wonder those guys were chasing them she looks amazing wait she said she's an elf oh man no wonder she's a beauty, She's also wearing some tattered clothes that doesn't suit her at all.

"So why were you being chased anyway?" I asked

"Well.... it all started when some humans discovered my village normally Elven tribes are hidden in dense forests or jungles with a magical mist hiding them but it seems like an elf told some outsiders where my village was for some unknown reason as such my village was slaughtered, And they took me as prisoner they were planning to sell me to a noble but a bunch of demons attacked the carriage when I saw the opportunity I took her with me and escaped." I see, her whole village has been sold out by an unknown elf and sold them out.

"And you?" I ask the one besides the elf, But to no avail.

"Please if you could excuse her, Her name is Hikumo Kitsuni." They're definitely hiding something from me.

"Very well then we should go to sleep." I said so we set our beds(out of leaves and anything like vines, and moss).

I wake up in the middle of the night after I hear movements I quickly grabbed my sword and stood up when I see a little girl under the moonlight sitting besides the river after sometime she finally notice me, When I look at those eyes it seems like she's been through a lot her eyes filled with sadness, depression, and regret.

"Oh did I wake you up?" the little girl says.
