Robin continued down the road. There wasn’t much traffic. He hoped there were no cops, because his inspection had run out a couple of months back, and he hadn’t yet bothered to ask Lorre to take care of it. Robin passed his old kindergarten. He actually smiled, recalling Hendrix’s description, which made it sound like some ruin from the days of Julius Cesar, not a building he had been in daily back in 1958. Where had the time gone?

“Not years. It can’t be years.”
